Yes, sorry, i noticed too late and i forgot about the comment

This mod doesn't impact the AI's diplomacy. It only reduces the diplomatic penalty of accepting a peace offer immediately after war was declared. So this mod won't make the AI want peace more. It just stops punishing you for accepting it if the AI does want it.
Pokesus 12 Apr @ 10:48am
It doesn't work, nobody wants peace, all my wars are eternal and new wars just shows up randomly...
Chrissant  [author] 31 Mar, 2023 @ 5:18am
It needs no update. It works forever.
Reno 29 Mar, 2023 @ 5:04am
Need is update ..
Leondas 26 Mar, 2023 @ 4:33pm
Update please!
Chrissant  [author] 3 Nov, 2022 @ 12:25am
Just try not to abuse it late game, or as an option, turn this mod off late game to handicap yourself.
roco's basilisk 28 Oct, 2022 @ 1:04pm
Played a bit and can confirm that it feels like instant peace has no penalties.

Thank you for this mod.
Chrissant  [author] 14 Oct, 2022 @ 4:42pm
I actually have no clue how to make it totally removed. What I did in this mod seems to reduce it to like a tenth of any normal penalty, which resets immediately on the next turn. In practice it should be as good as totally removed.
roco's basilisk 14 Oct, 2022 @ 8:27am
Is it possible to completely remove penalty for instant peace after war?

It is the worst mechanic in the game and doesn't makes sense at all. Even with small penalty

@황맘이
Chrissant  [author] 3 Sep, 2022 @ 5:20am
예 호환 문제 없습니다. 로딩 순서도 상관없어요.
fANaLoLoL 2 Sep, 2022 @ 10:55pm
Ultra Aggressive & Smart AI (DEI version) 이 모드랑 호환 될까요?
황맘이 9 Aug, 2022 @ 3:34am
번역좀..
Chrissant  [author] 7 Jul, 2022 @ 6:22am
As it says in the description it reduces the penalty. Not remove them. Yes you can abuse it, but only if you are very powerful to begin with.
Gwenod 7 Jul, 2022 @ 2:04am
Hello !
Not sure to understand, does this mod ''remove'' all diplomatic penalty, or just reduce them ?
If you really abuse, there will be consequences ?
Chrissant  [author] 29 Jun, 2022 @ 2:12am
No. Carthage is an exception. They are scripted to almost never make peace with you. I believe they will only ever accept peace if you somehow managed to have good relations with them, and their power is very weak compared to yours. That is almost impossible to achieve though.
davidmolloy13 28 Jun, 2022 @ 3:01pm
Does this mod make it easier to make peace with Carthage as Rome? I cannot seem to beat them for the life of me XD
Chrissant  [author] 26 Apr, 2022 @ 5:40am
Exactly. They WILL go to war with you certainly too it is scripted. Just don't bother having 3 punic wars and fuckem up Charlie..
[BRE] Rollon JONATHAN 26 Apr, 2022 @ 4:20am
Yeah Carthage is definetly scipted to be harder if you say so because when i did a save before I had to take over all of Carthage except for 4 settlements in spain but at that point there was no point making peace xd
Chrissant  [author] 26 Apr, 2022 @ 4:08am
I believe Carthage is scripted in such a way to be very difficult to make peace with. This mod doesn't matter whether you're a major or minor faction. All that matters is how the AI takes into account relative power. I believe it's just military strength and money but I'm not sure.
[BRE] Rollon JONATHAN 26 Apr, 2022 @ 3:53am
How does it work with Major faction im at war with Carthage as ROme and i sortof want to have 3 Punic wars and so far i kicked them out from all of Italy and i want to make peace

and after a while declare war again and take Sardinia and spain and then have a final 3erd Punic war.

is it possibly or is it just Major faction fight untill 1 of them dont stand anymore
Chrissant  [author] 13 Mar, 2022 @ 9:49pm
Try asking around the DEI discord. They probably know better of modding the AI than I do.
lequintal 13 Mar, 2022 @ 1:46pm
Hey,
awesome mod

Do you think it would be possible to make AI more willing to offer peace after have suffered military defeats (or losing generals/faction leader) WHILE still having a power bar advantage?
Jaeger 5 Mar, 2022 @ 3:40am
glad u told me u made submods. this is purrrfect
Chrissant  [author] 3 Mar, 2022 @ 1:22am
They are both compatible.
prad 2 Mar, 2022 @ 11:26pm
is this mod and better clients compatible with dei v1.3 or do they need updates
Chrissant  [author] 2 Mar, 2022 @ 3:44am
I don't know, really. This is beyond what my mod changes. You should ask in the DEI discord. It's a very active server with people who will answer your questions. I'm there too.
Kharn the Bloody 2 Mar, 2022 @ 2:28am
One other point/question on AI behavior. What does Rome 2 consider "overwhelming" as far as getting a faction to agree to peace, satropy or alliance? In some other TW games you had to be laying siege to their capital with overwhelming odds, or have a strong empire for them to accept peace, or have a large army in their territory. What's your usual tactic to trigger AI accepting alliance or satropy by intimidating them into the agreement?
Kharn the Bloody 2 Mar, 2022 @ 2:24am
Any issues with your Satraps parking stacks of armies in your territory? How to tell them to get their troops off of my lands? I tried the dei submod Historical Campaign that allows factions to survive longer by turning down AI aggressiveness towards other AI. The result was endless stacks of Allies/Satraps parking troops in my territories which I'm pretty sure causes food shortages and unhappiness in my territory. I stopped using that mod but haven't had many satraps or allies in current campaign to see if it's not as bad.
Chrissant  [author] 2 Mar, 2022 @ 2:00am
I always use this mod when I play as an eastern faction cus I like turning the whole map into my satraps. It helps when I can endlessly declare war and vassalize my little friends that are not paying their fee of gratitude to me.
Chrissant  [author] 2 Mar, 2022 @ 1:58am
My mod doesn't change how the AI behaves. With or without this mod the way the campaign AI considers peace or continued war is the same. My mod just eliminates diplomatic consequences as much as possible so you don't have to worry about all your allies suddenly dumping you just because you scared rhodes into paying you a tribute for peace last summer.

My mod really shines for that purpose only. When you are already a big faction but have run out of money, you go on ahead and flex your imperial muscles on a weak neighboring rump faction, and immediately ask them to pay you whatever it costs for you to consider not fucking them up.
Kharn the Bloody 2 Mar, 2022 @ 12:36am
This mod looks great. I've seen similar in other TW games. So what's the best method to get this mod to kick in when "overwhelming"? Have a couple stacks in one of those single city factions, then declare war, then sue for peace/become vassal? Declare war, siege their only city with overwhelming numbers, then offer peace treaty/become vassal? Do you even need to be in their territory for this "overwhelming" effect to kick in? What's the threshold of intimidating small faction to accept? I don't want to abuse this mechanic, just want believable outcomes when I vastly outnumber a tiny faction. Potato's of the world thank you!
Chrissant  [author] 4 Feb, 2022 @ 4:27pm
This mod works with everything. Even with a potato.
GriffMeister 4 Feb, 2022 @ 2:00pm
How well does this work with the 1.3 beta?
robertewins 22 Jan, 2022 @ 11:56pm
Thank you.
Chrissant  [author] 22 Jan, 2022 @ 5:59pm
Go to the DEI discord, somebody will help you there. The mod is literally 5 minutes of work.
robertewins 22 Jan, 2022 @ 3:40am
Hello Chrissant, apologies, its the Rome faction.
Chrissant  [author] 21 Jan, 2022 @ 4:38pm
50 loyalty to all parties? As what faction?
robertewins 21 Jan, 2022 @ 11:48am
Dear Chrissant, thank you for your fine contributions to Rome II keeping the game alive. Would you be able to make a small mod for me? I'm looking for a DEI compatible mod that grants, say +50, loyalty to all parties? Thank you for considering and it goes without say I would make a financial contribution for your trouble. Best wishes to you.
Chrissant  [author] 7 Jan, 2022 @ 10:36pm
When your imperium and military strength are past a certain point, this mod allows you to simply declare war on your weak neighbors and then offer them peace as a client state immediately, sometimes even on the same turn. In some sense it's immersive and realistic, but in terms of gameplay it gets really boring and cheesy.
damianvincent 7 Jan, 2022 @ 1:04pm
A war to get your client states in line shouldn't hit you too hard either.
Chrissant  [author] 5 Jan, 2022 @ 1:44am
In some ways this mod makes the game too easy, but I do agree a mechanic more nuanced and complex than this but in the same spirit would be great.
damianvincent 4 Jan, 2022 @ 6:45pm
it really is a must have mod bud, this should be in the base game along with the option to demand a nation cease an attack upon another. Especially an ally.
Chrissant  [author] 10 Dec, 2021 @ 9:34am
Love your mods on civ 6 by the way.
Chrissant  [author] 10 Dec, 2021 @ 9:34am
Just doing my part.
damianvincent 10 Dec, 2021 @ 9:09am
Ah great work, thank you for sharing with the community!
Chrissant  [author] 10 Dec, 2021 @ 1:52am
Honestly, this mod is mainly meant to be a quality of life mod for a persian style satrapal empire because they rely a lot on rapid wars of satrapal conquest. Clienthood on the other had is a lot easier to force upon one's neighbors so that can be abused as the Romans. In some sense it is historically accurate, since a lot of Rome's immediate neighbors did submit and pay tribute to avoid its direct intervention, but in gameplay it can sort of lead to a steamroll or boring borders.
Telos 9 Dec, 2021 @ 12:03pm
Just wondering, does this make the game too easy? I love making clients as the romans did in reality
