Archimedes (Medieval Era) : This city has an additional ranged strike. Instantly creates a Trebuchet should be someone else I think maybe Anthemius who built the Thedosian walls(Walls of constantinople)?

great mod! you can ask SamBC for help hov to ad audio for great writers. he made more great writers mode with audio for civ 5

it was peter simon classic era..
and so like the panel was showing, all other was by 50% recruiting points.. also 300 rounds far away,, but i see in the list.. every nation recruit other prophet.. also maybe lower costs.. hm okay

@duestere Legende Well those those shouldn't interfere with the Great Prophets. It could be that you recruited a prophet from a later era which does increase the cost. And then the next prophet was cheaper, meaning everyone else got their prophets. It's not related to the mods, it's how the game works.

later i saw that all other nations they not had a religion unlock same day their relegion too..

Solved, it was the "LoadOrder" string. Changed it from "16000" to "1000" and it works great.

Hi. The new GPs don't show in game. I have many mods installed, but all of them work fine, even "Real Great People" works great. ¿Which other mods could indirectly cause conflicts? I have deleted and reinstalled this mod, and still is the only one not working. Thanks.

The Islamic World and China, were the pinnacle of civilization during all of the early until the end of the Middle Ages.

@Castellan of sea : there's no difference between the two mods execpt that they are made by different people and we add differents people. The two mods are compatible.

The whole list can be found here .To remove a great person, I guess you can mess with the code yourself. Go to your mod folder and to the 2559462758/Great_Peoples folder. You should see each class of great people. Let's say you wanted to remove Gaius Maecenas. Since he's a great merchant, you go to do the Merchants.xml file and then remove the line 6, 32 and 45. If you want to remove Artists, Musicians or Writers, it's a bit more complicated since you have to remove their Great Works as well but if you decide to do that, I'll explain for those.

Hey kinda random, stumbled upon your mod while thinking about updating my own GP mod lol

My question is - how are the great people distributed through the ages ? Like how many Great Generals are in the Classical era (for example) ?

@CoffeeMakesMe I don't think that's possible, the newly generated great people will always be of the current era or the next if all the pool of current era is used. That means that yes, it's possible for not all great people to show up in an era.

Is it possible for great people not to be skipped when the era advances? On deity difficulty the ai pushes the era forward almost always at the minimum possible era length.

@treeofsoda From what I tested, it is compatible with both mods (aka it doesn't crashes). But if you play with GoldenAge, I suggest playing without the "Greatpersons and GreatWorks" ruleset because it buffs the base-game Great People and therefore, this mod's great people will feel very weak but maybe I'll make a submod to fix it.
Harmony in diversity should be fine, the only problem I can see is Rachel Carson who will be a little weak but other than that, it works perfectly.

Thanks for great mod. But i noticed that when i activiating Jan Zizka, combat units have + 5cs every time (Not only defending). Maybe it's just only my error(cause of so many mods), but i think you better check it again.

@sz Huh, really weird. I just tested it and it seems that ranged units get +1 Ranged attack per aircraft you have which is a very funny effect but not what is expected. I'll fix it as soon as possible.

Hi! This is a fun mod. But I noticed that activating Hugo Eckener has some weird effects unrelated to air combat. Anything with a ranged attack ends up being able to shoot over 10+ tiles... I haven't seen an AI use this yet, though.

@j_kovic Thank you, I haven't noticed it. GWoW gives 4 tourism under the Vanilla and Rise & Fall presets but only 2 under the Gathering Storm presets. I'll change that immediately.

I don't know if it is intended but the Writings you made give 4 tourism instead of 2 like the rest of the great works (there is a bug from developers that give also 4 tourism to the great writings that they added later in the development)

Both will appear in the game with each of their ability because in the code, they are named differently (unless another modder has taken my name).

So let's take James Cook as an example : in my mod, it does smth like the Raj policy card and in Sumus Magnus by Plati (excellent mod btw), it gives +2 Sight and +2 Movement to a unit. Well both Great people will exists, they'll have the same but not the same effect. They can both exists at same time, being recruited by the same civilization or even activated at the same time so there's no problem.

Well, as the first comment Just want to say I'm looking forward to recruiting so many great people! I always felt like I couldn't get enough great people (since i don't play towards great people) and I've always only gotten one great person every 2 eras. Hopefully with this, I'll be able to!

Question: What happens if one of your Great Person has the same name as another mod's great person?
