As always: feel free to make any kind of submods for any of my mods.
I would like to thank everyone who participated through the BETA test and a special thanks to the ones who were here from day one and are still here.
The fact that we are out of BETA means that this mod Is fully finished (at least content-wise) and possible future updates are only going to just address minor stuff and fix possible problems, that's all.
It has been quite a Khorny journey but we made It!
Cheers!
Besides, the Emperor's Children were all about perfection, pride and arrogance long before they even fell to the ruinous service to Slaanesh, so I guess that was bound to happen sooner or later. :P They took the perfection, pride and arrogance to a whole new level when they started serving Slaanesh though.
Slaanesh is my least favorite Chaos God too. My favorite Chaos Gods in that order is Khorne as my absolute favorite Chaos God, then it's Papa Nurgle himself, then Tzeentch and then it's Slaanesh at the bottom.
I still think Slaanesh is cool. Just not my favorite of the bunch.
And while Malice isn't officially canon, he should be. :P He would make an interesting addition.
And fair enough about Nurgle and Tzeentch coming before a potential Slaanesh version. That definitely works for me and I'd much rather see those than Slaanesh.
He Is in fact my least favourite Chaos God to be honest.
Even Malice (which Is borderline not canon) beats Slaanesh in my personal Chaos Gods tier list.
I may end up covering him anyway for completion's sake but not before Nurgle and Tzeentch.
and to make them meet without clipping, especially the skull in between the tips of the horns, the horns would have to be made longer and then meet up at the top like now, and the skull would still be up there in between the horn tips.
Probably hard to change though.
Overall, a stunning work of a mod. :D Great job.
Sigvald is one example. Handsome, beautiful and blessed by the Prince of Chaos yet deadly and a sick psychotic mind of a deranged murderer and mass killer.
I think charisma is more common in Slaanesh's followers because they are often individuals who seeks to outperform all others in all kinds of ways and they want more than one thing.
I mean the colors of purple, black, pink and gold are perfect for a Slaaneshi army.
There are numerous ways to make a Slaaneshi army be truly interesting and not have anything to do with sex. For example, something that definitely marries Slaanesh and Dark Elves, as well as the Dark Eldar in the 40k universe, is the need to mock, torment, torture and toy their victims, and yes, I know this can be a kink to some of them, both Dark Elves/Dark Eldar and Slaaneshi followers, but for the most part it's just something they enjoy for mental reasons because they're sadists.
But Slaanesh is also about perfection, fine arts(can be beautiful and near perfect weapons and armor), delights(of the non-carnal nature, such as exquisite wines and delicious foods in excess, often to reach new heights of sensations, sensuality and to achieve ecstasy), skill at arms(goes hand in hand with perfection), promise of power, fame and glory, vanity and self improvement(again, the strive towards perfection), and like Tzeentch, scheming(though not as much as the Changer of Ways himself of course, nor as much as his greatest followers), plotting, outwitting and backstabbing when it suits the Slaaneshi follower or daemon.
We'll see.
I'll probably skip Slaanesh though.
Especially with the first editions!
I mean: they are both Khorny Elves but mine Is more like High Elves turned evil while The amber kingdom Is more like Wood Elves turned evil.
I'm also planning to cover Nurgle and Tzeentch in future (Slaneesh Is a big no no) so I think that there Is still much to do for a possible custom faction's roster.
Maybe you could get in contact with Hazard Mask to have them added in / compatible?
I don't make custom factions but I'm pretty much open to any kind of submods so If anyone with previous experience want to make a custom faction out of this, I'm cool with that.
That would require a larger roster at that point though.
Totally agree with that recommendation too!
Hazard Mask's mod truly looks like a work of art!
For everyone that wants to see more Chaos-worshipping elves, I highly recommend The Amber Kingdom custom faction mod. Both these mods should work together fine.
Blood for the blood god!
