Pushing back on the commenter who said Calm is plagiarizing Princess Mononoke and not crediting Studio Ghibli:

This is a mod. When Calm started modding for TWWH2, he's already "plagiarizing" TWWH2 and WHFB. It's hypocritical to suddenly demand modder's guilt when it comes to a movie the commenter personally liked. He should be opposed to all modding in the first place, if he was being consistent.

Artists take from each other all the time. It is only those who never created anything, who keep disparaging artists for plagiarism or copying. It's all ignorance and sour grapes, so they can downplay the quality of the work. All artists know what I'm talking about.

I don't hear Games Workshop praising Tolkien on every page of their website, maybe they should shut down?

Congratulations!, This MOD is amazing, but I would love it if you don't use MIXUS, since it makes many other fun MODS incompatible. Anyway, it's an excellent job! A Deer Lord would be great to accompany the wolf clan and princess MONONOKE. Cheers! :steamhappy:

I can't even begin to explain how good your mods are, and how essential they are to me for actually playing and enjoying the Wood Elves.

Do you have any plans to port them to WH3 when Immortal Empires releases?

I wanted to wait for wh3 to use the new bear assets. But seeing how bear heavy Kislev is I don't think I want a bear keeper now

Out of curiousity, where is there not a choice for Bear Keeper? You have their models in your other mod. Is there difficulty with having them serve as a mount?

Update. Lowered the level the animal mounts are unlocked from 21 to 18

If you have missed them he also has a "Hound of Kurnos" mod that gives you legendary lords when starting a ritual of rebirth.
They have traits and talents that evolve around animal keepers and animals.

So stretching the word "technicaly", there are technicaly Animal keeper lords. :P

Came back to WH2 and still got all your great WE mods, actually got to use the Hounds of Kuranos* and got some of my Keepers to max before the end game came. Amazing mods that make use just using animals really fun! The only thing I could possibly ask for is that you please consider lowering the level where Keepers get their mounts <3 other than that, wouldn't change a thing.

Hey! LOVE this mod. It is so flavorful and awesome!
I can't seem to find a any way other than "Hoeth, Lord of Wisdom" technology to increase the Animal Keepers Recruitment level.

Meaning, later on even with a few magical trees at lvl 5, you still can not recruit them past level 3
Meanwhile, Waywatchers and Spellsingers can now be recruited at 15 and 13 - but not way to boost the keepers.

It would be nice with a small patch that would allow some extra levels from the structure chain.
+4 at max upgrade would keep it in line with the other heroes, but even a modest +2 at max would speed up their level up process by a lot.

Those heroes don't have their own categories so they share recruitment caps with vanilla heroes. To have their own seperate caps you need the unlocker

Hello friend, great mod, but I was kinda curious about the unlocker. I've seen other mods (like this one: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2548543288) adding new heroes without using it. Are they different? How does it work? Thanks.

@Calm&NormalTime It looks like they work correctly in custom battles, but in campaign, they are showing up on their back any time they are not actively attacking. I can send you screenshots, if you want.

Love the mod! Really dig the Princess Mononoke vibes. I'm noticing, though, that the mounted animations seem to be broken on my end. Their spears are not showing up in their hands, but instead on their backs.

Any ideas on a fix?

I removed those from campaign, they were buggy and I couldn't figure out how to fix them unfortunately

Ah ok. That's intentional. I find masks creepier when they're slightly silly. A mask that looks deliberately designed to intimidate makes me think the wearer is overcompensating, while a playful simple mask with a neutral expression is more unnerving
