Fusion grenades overwrite frag grenades. Sapper raids have become base enders as a frag = fusion. It was hilarious. 1 sapper wrecked everything while the other 35 raiders tied up my colonists... I couldn't get to her.

I tested the fusion rifle and liked it already, it is very powerful but not too powerful, true late game weapon. What I don't like is the look of this weapon, it looks like a regular firearm with attached lights, but it's probably just me. Small suggestion, maybe create a fusion reactor that will generate a LOT of energy for late game bases.

The fusion cell can't be rotated, it's fixed in a N/S orientation. It's only a minor thing but it would be nice to be able to rotate it.

Why not just make a second version of this mod that is CE compatible, and pray (however unlikely) that people are smart enough to get the right one for their needs.

the two easiest way to make your CE patch not override without CE: make a submod, or send your patch to the CE team and it will be integrated in their supported mods

@Dr. Nolegs The only faction that can spawn with these weapons is the empire if you have the Royalty DLC and only their top units spawn with them.

I'm working on the CE compatibility still. I can't seem to figure out how to make it not break the game for those who don't play without CE. If anyone has any experience or suggestions that would be a great help.

Just stumbled upon this mod, adding it right away.

Would be pretty cool to see melee weapons (sword and knife/dagger are the first things that comes to mind). Since you're implying that the knife on the Fusion Shotgun is fusion-powered, it seems like it would really fit within the mod.

Yep the CE compatibility update broke stuff. The duplicate entries are CE related.

I've added Combat Extended Compatibility! I had trouble with making my own ammo set so for now I have used existing ammo sets for each weapon. Let me know what you think or if I should retry making my own ammo set.

@Spectre I got the description updated. This also helped me see an oversight regarding stopping values for each weapon. I didn't realize I hadn't added them for any weapon other than the LMG in game. Thanks for the feedback!

Would you include the Armor Piercing values on your weapons in your description? Personally, I find what I'm lacking most in my weapons are good AP variants, and it would help me, and others, in figuring out if this is a mod they want to include in their mod list. Including Stopping Power would also be appreciated.

Oh yea, and blinking lights. For some reason high power high tech weapons in sci fi always seem to be more powerful the more blinking lights they have. Make it blink obnoxiously with an odd sound before it fires and people will mash the like button like it was a cat video.

One request for weapon upgrades, please, oh please dont go the AOE rout for projectile detonation. I have had one or twenty bad outcomes from AOE weapons in a pod landing base defense. AOE is good for rockets and explosives but hell for personal defense weapons when you are not planning for it.

@GodHatesYou! (EOA) Great idea! I have been trying to think of ways to expand the mod and flesh it out a bit. I'll start brainstorming some ways to implement this.

Great mod, well done. The intermediate module is imaginitive design, and the whole mod makes uranium very needed. Good stuff. I do kind of wish the power cells could be uninstalled/reinstalled (minor nit).

I would love to see a second tier for this for a modded play through. These are better than average but dont scale too well later in game. Not knocking this, because it is truly beautiful weapons, i just want to see more.

@rubicon66 the fusion cell should be under the power tab similar to batteries. It is unlocked with the fusion technology research. Hope that helps!
