Stupid. Why are mods always 'MaOr MuLtIpLiErS!!111' not more complexity, or more interesting behaviour, just 'Lolll guys I made it do more stuff'

this mod is good mate, otherwise i would not bother with some of the new blocks.
can i suggest including the previous reskin of the atmo thrusters to have the same cost nerf and power buff. i currently do not bother building those either.

any chance you could give the H2 tank, and cargo container small ship variants?

Okay, well I'll try it :KSmiley:

@Ghost! So the thrusters by default use 1kw of power whenever they thrust according to the configuration, which is not much at all. However I've noticed that even with my increase in power consumption on the configuration, the power has remained the same. I'm looking into why that is currently. Perhaps this is something hardcoded into the game that I cannot change.

So to answer: yes they do use power, but it's not significant.

The changes seem good but I don't know if I will download it because what do you mean with the thruster changes? Do hydrogen thrusters use energy? I thought they only use hydrogen

If you make them all balanced and stronger I'm on board, Just don't want to have a small handful of slightly better blocks. I'll fav tho to keep an eye on your progress.

@andbruu I do like these suggestions. I've been messing with values as I play with these blocks in survival and I do think these newer DLC's should be a bit more demanding for how much more effective they are. I also agree that the new thrusters should have some difference to the older ones that would make them more appealing to use for larger cargo transports with lots of materials.

As far as the control panel thing goes, I'll look into it. Would love to see that on both the assembler and the refinery myself.

@aluxesxd Yeah more tweaking and testing for these blocks is a must. As I said above, been doing a ton of testing in my survival worlds to see how I can make things more balanced and not too OP for the newer blocks. This was just a quick put together initially for a friend's server that I wanted to push out quickly.

Hopefully will see an update this week regarding some more changes to things I've made.
Thanks for the recommendations so far <3

You might as well go back and tweak all the DLC blocks. Now there are just one set of blocks that are oddly stronger than the rest of the game, which is not appealing to me.

Looks like a nice approach, having the new blocks provide some mechanical options, and not just how they look (mostly).
Would you consider increasing the power requirement even more (to be less power effective than the originals), in order to balance the increased speed?

Also, would you consider making the new thrusters from an earlier DLC mechanical different than the original. Perhaps increase thrust by 30% while doubling power requirement?

Finally, the new assembler could do with its control panel being moved to the "walk-in" part.

In any case, thank you for this mod.

Nice, was hoping for something like this.
