Auto Strip on Haul

Threw up a Pull Request for 1.6 in the GitHub, Fuko. Per my testing there are no material changes, just updating the Harmony library and recompiling pretty much.

Your workflow must be pretty unusual though, I kind of want to know what's up with the "Move Mods" batch file you have run, it really tripped me up lol.

1.6 please
thorman123456789 11 Jul @ 11:49pm
Is an update for 1.6 planned?
CosmicStone 10 Jul @ 12:13pm
kisamara 1.6?
Ryū 9 Jul @ 5:16am
For some reason pawns are stripped only when hauled to stockpile zone. When pawn is hauled to be butchered, everything stays on.
HongZZ 2 Jul @ 12:09am
1.6 Thanks!

This is super handy, adding it in! Thanks!

Nexus 29 Mar @ 7:01pm
oh okay so it only strips clothing thats smelt-able then by default?

that explains a lot. thanks!
Fuko  [author] 29 Mar @ 6:57pm
@Nexus By default, the "Auto-Magically Destroy Unstripped Apparel" setting is off, because I didn't want to destroy stuff without people knowing.

That means by default non-smeltable clothing stay on the corpse.

You can either turn that option on to destroy the clothing.
Or raise the number of non-smeltables to strip to strip the clothing.
Nexus 29 Mar @ 3:43pm
is there any specific requirements for the strip? cause i keep getting colonists to haul dead bodies to dumping stockpile zones yet they never bother stripping them

@ASS Those are her tiny blood-covered hands, they're not cut off :lunar2019laughingpig:
ASS 28 Mar @ 3:31am
i will install your mods when i next play RW.
why is her arms cutoff though?
Mike 4 Mar @ 2:26am
This is a mod I have been wanting since I started playing the game so many years ago. Thank you.
Fuko  [author] 16 Feb @ 2:40pm
@hoteldoor No this only works on dead pawns.
hoteldoor538 16 Feb @ 9:52am
can you use this to selectively strip an apparel for downed pawns too?
Fuko  [author] 18 Dec, 2024 @ 5:22pm
@fyodord Yeah I think it works for animal haul too. They all call the same code.
fyodord 18 Dec, 2024 @ 2:47pm
I'm curious would animals trained to haul also do this? If so it'll be more useful than I thought.
Gnox 22 Sep, 2024 @ 11:32am
Thank you for this, it'll be very useful as others have said.
BadJudgement 3 Sep, 2024 @ 4:17pm
This is gonna make my life so much easier... I've been playing a cannibal colony for like.. almost 1400 in game days now, and The constantly filling kitchen area with everyones items and then smelting it all down has just been a real annoyance. At this stage I just want it left to rot outside or in an easy burn location. Ty for your work.
Arthur GC 18 Aug, 2024 @ 9:55am
It's ok, thanks for the attention :)
Fuko  [author] 17 Aug, 2024 @ 10:44pm
@Arthur Hmm, while I understand the case you're making, it sounds like a bit of a niche use case for how much work it would take, so unfortunately I don't have the time to do it.
Arthur GC 17 Aug, 2024 @ 10:14pm
Hi, would it be possible to add a button to disable or override the auto-strip settings for selected pawns? Sometimes someone dies far from my base, and I’d rather not have to strip them so far away from it. There are times that I want to haul bodies to inside my base (when a trader dies with a full inventory, for example), and sometimes not (raiders).

The current workaround is going to the mod settings and setting the auto-strip to happen after haul, and after hauling moving this settings back to strip before hauling, which is somewhat clunky.

Thanks!
Fuko  [author] 5 Aug, 2024 @ 2:29am
@AJarOfDirt It's because of the tainted on rot mod. I set it to always strip untainted clothes because they still have value for being worn or sold. Only tainted clothes will be destroyed/left on corpse.
AJarOfDirt 4 Aug, 2024 @ 8:37pm
Yeah I'm seeing everything being stripped with smeltable set to all and non-smeltable set to zero. Even turning on the auto magically destroy option doesn't seem to do anything... I wonder what would be conflicting with this one?
Fuko  [author] 2 Aug, 2024 @ 11:16pm
@AJarOfDirt Also, apparel specifically means clothes. Equipment, such as belts, grenades, etc, weapons, and other items on their inventory, will always drop regardless of the setting.
AJarOfDirt 2 Aug, 2024 @ 11:04pm
Hmm, must have a mod conflict or something since everything is being dropped on the ground.
Fuko  [author] 2 Aug, 2024 @ 10:23pm
@AJarOfDirt Zero means it will be stripped, but automatically destroyed instead of being dropped.
If you untick the automagically destroy option, zero will mean they will be left on the corpse.
AJarOfDirt 2 Aug, 2024 @ 10:15pm
Any idea why everything is still stripped when I set Non-smeltables to strip to zero?
AJarOfDirt 2 Aug, 2024 @ 1:15pm
What about a setting to not strip non-tainted apparel? I use the only tainted on rot mod.
Fuko  [author] 28 Jul, 2024 @ 7:19pm
@AJarOfDirt Unfortunately that feature is too niche of a case for how much time and work to implement ;<
AJarOfDirt 25 Jul, 2024 @ 12:46pm
Any chance you could add a way to specify only apparel with certain materials get stripped? That way with a recycling mod you could just get the clothes with materials you want.
MapleSierrap 12 May, 2024 @ 11:23pm
Ah that's unfortunate. I was hoping to have an easy way to recycle dead pawn apparel before burying them.
Fuko  [author] 12 May, 2024 @ 10:16pm
@Sierra Nope! It has a check for your own faction, so it doesn't strip your own colonists when you pick them up.
MapleSierrap 12 May, 2024 @ 9:08pm
Would they strip before putting corpses in graves?
Fuko  [author] 9 May, 2024 @ 6:25pm
@Vulkandrache Yeah sorry, I can't update the github until I regain access to my account -3-
Vulkandrache 9 May, 2024 @ 4:08pm
I wanted to download directly from Git and it says their version is 2 years old?
Fuko  [author] 19 Apr, 2024 @ 5:56pm
@Not Quite Dead Yeah, I made the auto-destruction of extra clothes an intentional toggle that is now defaulted off, so things aren't destroyed by accident unless people intentionally want it to happen. Because in 1.4 those non-smeltables would just magically disappear.
Not Quite Dead 19 Apr, 2024 @ 5:35pm
For so me reason post 1.5 it defaults the max number of non smeltable apparel to strip to 0.
This seems to keep the stripping from occuring if anyone is having any issues.
Fuko  [author] 11 Apr, 2024 @ 2:13am
Updated for 1.5 Anomaly!
~Added option for undropped apparel to be left on the corpse instead of destroyed.
~Reworded settings to be less confusing.
Fuko  [author] 18 Mar, 2024 @ 8:56pm
@victoruno I'm working on adapting all my mods for 1.5, hopefully I can finish before or not long after official Anomaly's release.
victoruno 16 Mar, 2024 @ 4:20am
Holo, any timeline on making compatible with 1.5?
Fuko  [author] 6 Jan, 2024 @ 12:11am
@Art Student That's likely not caused by this mod. This mod does not need to change any vanilla code behavior at all, including hauling behavior. Even the most catastrophic failure by this mod shouldn't cause any game behavioral issue.
Art Student 5 Jan, 2024 @ 11:10pm
smth weird idk if it is mid game incompetible, so i added the mod after the raider is alr dead for a while and when i command my pawn to haul them to grave my pawn just stand there the whole time, i need to change the command into strip manually for them to actaully do their work
roko711 20 Apr, 2023 @ 8:24am
this mod is good with Non Uno Pinata as they will not just pop into a pinata with their inventory flying everywhere
hoteldoor538 28 Dec, 2022 @ 4:32am
i've found the mod that deletes weapon so nvm and thanks
Fuko  [author] 26 Dec, 2022 @ 7:54pm
@hoteldoor538 Pawns already drop their weapons upon being downed in vanilla. I'm not sure what mod you're using that's changing that behavior.
hoteldoor538 10 Dec, 2022 @ 8:51am
can you make it so that butchering pawns also don't drop weapons? please?
melty 22 Oct, 2022 @ 2:16am
thank you so much for 1.4 i love this mod
