Totally understandable for you to miss it if you played EPOE, not a lot of people even like the rejection mechanic in RBSE lol. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually like I said it *looks* like the old patch should work prob just a minor change from changing versions broke things. Honestly you have been the most helpful and understanding modder I've interacted with so far and I wish you the best of luck on any future projects you have!

Well, shoot, if I'm honest I used epoe when I was playing, dwarf fortress sucked me back so its been a hot minute since I've played rimworld.

So unfortunately I can't inherently help too too much more, but my assumption is that the rot can be fixed by adding a patch operation to simply add the...I think its rottable comp but you should be able to double check it off either vanilla rottable foods or better yet, the rbse patch.

Just copy paste that, and have it apply it to qee organs, would be a passable fix I suspect.


As for organ rejection...I'm less sure, but a similar technique may help.

Oh shit! Thank you so much for digging through that for me! Unfortunately RBSE only partially works with QEE. There are no issues with the stomach replacement that I know of but without the patch the QEE organs don't rot when not frozen and in RBSE there is an organic rejection system that the patch added that to all QEE organs, the patch worked fine in 1.2 but for some reason the patch doesn't work on latter versions. It looks like it should work but I'm a massive novice when it comes to this stuff. Thank you and again!

Right! Looking at old conversations I had with the mod, I believe both qee,and RBSE modified the stomach surgery, and so, as the recipe no longer existed, we conflicted.

The easiest solution was, curiously enough, I believe, just ignoring RBSE and ditching the patch. To my understanding, it somehow fixed it.

I couldn't tell you *WHY* anymore, but I'm poking through chatlogs in the discord linked somewhere above, so results are hazy.

Right. Looking at it, even digging through my poor git history, I uh, wasn't the best at meaningful commits, I'd suspect I found the patch either unneeded, as I hazily remember it patching a second stomach in or something, so I came to the conclusion that they implemented everything correct enough that it worked, or alternatively, I couldn't make it work at all.

Does the mod work with RBSE at all?

I was asking around about the RBSE patch being missing in the latest version of QEE and was told to ask you about it.

for some reason making nutrient solution is just non-grata, I have it permitted to use all possible materials, and I have them but it keeps saying needs material. With a list of 100+ mods and that being the only conflict I have with all of them it's going to be work to find out what's causing this but hey.

Nope. Pawn spawned with schismatic ideology of my colony, after applying brainscan from one of the pawns with primary ideology clone haven't changed his own

Clones spawn with random ideology, but brain scans should apply the ideology of whoever you scanned.

Larry, could be a lot of reasons. colored mood bar, one of the recycling mods, both break it, as does harvest everything. I assume theres others but thats a start. Did you ensure you have the proper research completed? If you merely spawned the sequencer with dev mode, its useless without the research

@Mario55770 Give it too mile if they'll take it. Then again with how many other abandoned or dead mods they're maintaining it would probably be a bit much given how much work you said it needs. Seems to be the average rimworld mod cycle of life for most mods: They go through multiple maintainers in a lot of cases but inevitably in the end seem wind up in mile's care, weather they performed necromancy on them or not for them to get there

Yeah, I'd love to fix it.

I'm pleased I managed to maintain the mod as long as I did, but eventualyl I hit a point where things started imploding and I don't have the time, knowledge or motivation to fix.

There's a lot of legacy code.

I figure a clean write up only worried about compatiblity with 1.3 onwards, ditching the legacy code would do this mod good. But...I similarly am not motivated for that.

If anyone has the motivation to take over, and they shoot me a message, I'll help with anything I can of course.

I still use the mod a lot despite it's shortcomings, namely the lack of some genomes storing certain hediffs even with my own patch mods. Probably user error which is why templates for doing certain specific things would be appreciated. For example, one for storing a hediff in a genome template, one for storing a hediff in a brain scan, one for storing it in a genome template or brain scan but at the same level as the original hediff instead of reset like usual, or one that stores multiple different hediffs in one patch file.

Basically we need a easy way to add our own hediffs or a simple to edit patch file we can use to make our own. Personally I would love a configuration menu like how CSL does it, would make literally the whole process simpler for the end user. Unsure how doable that is but bet it would be a lot of work on your end so doubt we'll see such a thing since the mods up for adoption
