this mod is bugging when a tamed "Evolved Hydralisk" (from "Zerg!" mod) enters it's surveillance-area; it gives false alert.
a few suggestions:
1. Normal won't work without light (can't see in dark. If something is in range, but in the dark, it's not detected. If in a lit tile and in range, it's detected)
2. A night-vision (infared) one that is more expensive than normal, and can work without light (The x-ray also works without light, but unlike the Infared one, it works through walls)
3. A light one. It acts as a lamp, but is shorter range (It's range is equal to the range of the light from the lamp).
The progression is:
Normal -> Night Vision -> X-Ray
1. the lamp one has a slight increase in cost (as it has a built in light), and is unlocked with Survalience
2. The night-vision one has a slightly higher cost, and requires Infared Survaleience
3. The X-Ray camera can see in the dark, and works like it now does. It's more expensive than the night-vision one, and works through walls.
+1 patch for Fog of War
Is it possible for you to add an advanced one that you can put on the wall (or on the ceilling) ?
it could be a nice addition to this.
Q) You have permanent visibility of the map, there is no Fog of War.
Does that mean the camera will alert you if something not from your colony runs into it's detection range?
A) Yes.
Q) How does it "suppress Jailbreak"? Does it reduce the chance of a jailbreak occurring?
A) Yes.
