I think.
- MICRO-K, MICRO-HT
> Damage increased from 50 > 60.
This is so both the Kilovolt and Wildfire can kill Flak-Bursts in one shot, and also because clowning on Schwalbes, aces or not, will never cease to be fun!
Potentially of interest, but that's something for later.
It can't do nothing — the fuel tanks from the drop tank pack can be used as bombs, while the conformal fuel tank from the same item provides navigational support.
it also causes some mischief with trying to remove the CWB since you cant replace it with anything if the current loadout is empty or one of the two values goes below 0
- New models and particle effects for the CWB!
- New micromissile type — the Micro-K penetrating micromissile! Effectively a guided rocket, these fast missile punch through enemies and terrain from extremely long range, perfect for taking out turrets and targets with a weak point.
- Dropped the CWB's turn rate and lock cone size as well as dropping its speed to compensate (5 > 2 degrees per second, 60 > 30 degrees off bore, 11000 > 9000 speed).
This is to reinforce that the CWB isn't supposed to be a standalone all target weapon, and to avoid treading on the base game micromissiles (to an extent).
The pitching up stems from me using the same pitch I use for the rockets sound effects, since they have the same fire sound. You'll still hear a hiss but you can at least make out individual fire sounds.
Right now I'm looking to modify the sound effect rolloff in an effort to see if 1) I can get rid of that hiss and 2) how much I need to dial it in if I want to keep it. I kind of like the hissing noise so far though; it also sells the fact it's a rapid-fire missile launcher firing many rockets at once.
As an added bonus, the CWB will now also go from 10 -> 12 shots next update.
Thank you for looking into it, though!
That being said, I've managed to tweak the CWB so it's not so harsh on the ears but I will have to commence more testing to see how the changes go.
That being said, do you think it'd be possible to replace the firing sound effect with something shorter in length? Under sustained fire the CWB produces a hissing noise that's a bit grating on the ears, and I think that can be attributed to the length of the firing sound
do you mean the save folder? is that the save folder in the steam directory or the one in appdata? what is a .meta file and which ones are the game looking for? do you have to copy all of them into the same save folder? why don't they go into the mod folder? can they be inside the 'win' folder they come in? do you have to include the other .meta files from the root directory of the download? why does my game never recognize these mods no matter which folder i put them in?
