Based on the number of previous updates, I'm pretty sure this would be v1.5.

I think.

Update 1.7 or somesuch
- MICRO-K, MICRO-HT
> Damage increased from 50 > 60.

This is so both the Kilovolt and Wildfire can kill Flak-Bursts in one shot, and also because clowning on Schwalbes, aces or not, will never cease to be fun!

If I could do flares, I probably would have done air launched decoys by now. Splitting the choice into two weapons would mean locking out two weapons slots for maximum effect, or having one or the other.

Potentially of interest, but that's something for later.

could do weaker flares with -10/-10 (or even two -10/0 0/-10 'weapons' to pick from)

Potentially splitting the CWB up into a no-cost weapon and something else with the -10/-10 is compelling — the trick is seeing what else could be done with the "something else."

It can't do nothing — the fuel tanks from the drop tank pack can be used as bombs, while the conformal fuel tank from the same item provides navigational support.

0/0 would be fine enough imo
Nyx (She/Her) 8 Jan, 2024 @ 3:18pm
Yeah as much as I want to say its just a joke, it does allow smaller planes to run MUCH higher firepower loadouts by just giving up the slot for a CWB

it also causes some mischief with trying to remove the CWB since you cant replace it with anything if the current loadout is empty or one of the two values goes below 0
Joker  [author] 8 Jan, 2024 @ 3:15pm
The original idea was to allow builds running flares to access their full payload and avionics load, with some concessions to allow it to do something other than that. I didn't expect people to say it's actually quite busted, so I think that's a good indicator on where to take it next.
Nyx (She/Her) 8 Jan, 2024 @ 2:21pm
my friends have taken to calling the CWB the "Just cheat" module due to the -10/-10 on it :P
Joker  [author] 8 Jan, 2024 @ 1:08pm
List of changes:
- New models and particle effects for the CWB!
- New micromissile type — the Micro-K penetrating micromissile! Effectively a guided rocket, these fast missile punch through enemies and terrain from extremely long range, perfect for taking out turrets and targets with a weak point.

- Dropped the CWB's turn rate and lock cone size as well as dropping its speed to compensate (5 > 2 degrees per second, 60 > 30 degrees off bore, 11000 > 9000 speed).

This is to reinforce that the CWB isn't supposed to be a standalone all target weapon, and to avoid treading on the base game micromissiles (to an extent).

oh, hey sick. Thanks

After half a year, I finally bothered updating the CWB. Hopefully the sounds are passable.
Joker  [author] 20 Apr, 2023 @ 10:27pm
Testing update — have currently pitched up the firing effect and turned down the volume by half. Unity shortens firing noises as it's pitched up, so that means I can get away with using the same sound since I'm not currently searching for new noises.

The pitching up stems from me using the same pitch I use for the rockets sound effects, since they have the same fire sound. You'll still hear a hiss but you can at least make out individual fire sounds.

Right now I'm looking to modify the sound effect rolloff in an effort to see if 1) I can get rid of that hiss and 2) how much I need to dial it in if I want to keep it. I kind of like the hissing noise so far though; it also sells the fact it's a rapid-fire missile launcher firing many rockets at once.

As an added bonus, the CWB will now also go from 10 -> 12 shots next update.

That's kind of what I was getting at, yeah... With how long the sound effect was it wouldn't finish playing before the next one was fired off, leading to the sustained hissing produced under firing.

Thank you for looking into it, though!
Joker  [author] 20 Apr, 2023 @ 9:33pm
Update on sound effect switch: the length of the sound isn't what's causing the hissing noise, it's the fact that there's so many going off at once — It's akin to a rotary cannon having a buzzsaw noise due to firing so quickly.

That being said, I've managed to tweak the CWB so it's not so harsh on the ears but I will have to commence more testing to see how the changes go.
Vectorv12 18 Apr, 2023 @ 10:48pm
Of course, of course! Take as long as you need ^^
Joker  [author] 18 Apr, 2023 @ 10:13pm
I'll see what I can do. I'm a bit preoccupied at the moment so no guarantees I can make changes right away.
Vectorv12 18 Apr, 2023 @ 10:01pm
Hey, wanna start by saying that I absolutely love this mod! The CWB has quickly become one of my favorites due to its magazine capacity and firerate; it's really cool to be able to fire off a massive salvo of missiles at once and watch them chase the target!

That being said, do you think it'd be possible to replace the firing sound effect with something shorter in length? Under sustained fire the CWB produces a hissing noise that's a bit grating on the ears, and I think that can be attributed to the length of the firing sound

Note: The Micro-AA has been merged into this pack; if you're having file errors or it's not showing up in-game for you I would advise unsubscribing from that item as it's no longer being supported.

Downloading to the save file is no longer needed thanks to a bit of filetweaking I did. The game was referencing the wrong folder with the way I had things set up previously.
Rapemaster General 5 Apr, 2022 @ 2:28pm
"download to sky rogue's save file" what does that even mean?
do you mean the save folder? is that the save folder in the steam directory or the one in appdata? what is a .meta file and which ones are the game looking for? do you have to copy all of them into the same save folder? why don't they go into the mod folder? can they be inside the 'win' folder they come in? do you have to include the other .meta files from the root directory of the download? why does my game never recognize these mods no matter which folder i put them in?

This is actually an all-target missile, not air-to-air.
Joker  [author] 22 Aug, 2021 @ 11:05pm
you download it directly to sky rogue's save file for the time being

I have this downloaded but I can't find it in the loadout menu. How can I access it?
