The extra points from the wanderer's branch are not removed. Can you please fix this
LittleTofoo 5 Feb @ 5:36am
Is anyone who is able to mod able to pick this up? I don't understand all those instructions for foxing it below, and I really really miss this mod :(
Taurom 5 Dec, 2024 @ 9:44am
I guess this mod needs an update, specially since landless characters have a new lifestyle perk tree. But it seems it's been a while since the creator took care of it...
Aussiemon 2 Oct, 2024 @ 5:32pm
The easy way to fix this mod for just you, the player, is to:

1. Open "<Path to SteamLibrary>\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2583567726\common\on_action\gl_on_actions.txt"

2. Find all instances of "is_landed = yes" and change them to "is_ai = no". This will make the mod only affect players.

3. Find all instances of "exists = capital_province" and remove them. Presumably landless adventurers don't have capital provinces.
Prawn 30 Sep, 2024 @ 1:01am
@MrBlazzar™ I changed those things in the files and it doesn't seem to be working for me, could you upload it as a temp fix mod possibly?
MarvinEhre 28 Sep, 2024 @ 1:11pm
And for the lifestyle xp gain does a search and replace suffice?
MarvinEhre 28 Sep, 2024 @ 1:04pm
@MrBlazzar™ how does the fixed trigger check looks like?

Like do I just press enter under "is_landed = yes", paste one of the 2 new checks and than press enter again to paste the 2nd one?
MrBlazzar™ 26 Sep, 2024 @ 10:10am
The way to fix it not working is to change the on_action pulse to not just check for is_landed = yes but also check for is_landless_ruler = yes and is_governor = yes as those are the new triggers for landless adventurer rulers and the new governor ruler from the new gov type I believe.

It also seemed to need to swap the X_lifestyle_xp_gain_mult in the modifiers for the new monthly_X_lifestyle_xp_gain_mult otherwise you'd still gain XP per month.
Prawn 25 Sep, 2024 @ 9:56am
not working with current update, and they added immortality, pls fix? ;_;
Minus1983 29 Mar, 2024 @ 8:41pm
Please update, I love this mod
LittleTofoo 5 Mar, 2024 @ 1:55am
Will it have 1.12.1 (Legends of the Dead) compatibility update?
Izuru Aeternae-Mortis 17 Nov, 2023 @ 9:40pm
can i use this in mid game or do i have to start anew?
MarvinEhre 27 Aug, 2023 @ 3:21am
ok, thanks. In the past I think it was nearly instantly, but it could be, that I misremembered.
kReoSo  [author] 27 Aug, 2023 @ 3:06am
That's exactly how it works. In addition to lowering the xp gain, it checks the character periodically and delete all the excessive perk points and xp.
MarvinEhre 27 Aug, 2023 @ 2:50am
Ok, so it seems to work, even with Lifestyle xp increasing mods, but with them it takes ~1-3 months, until the xp become =, so Ill now have to test my modlist.
kReoSo  [author] 26 Aug, 2023 @ 11:36pm
I've tested and cannot replicate the bug. Could you perhaps test it without other mods? I'll just upload once more the same thing just in case
MarvinEhre 26 Aug, 2023 @ 11:24pm
Im playing on the current Version. It worked for me in 1.9.x, before the 1.10 update.
MarvinEhre 26 Aug, 2023 @ 11:06pm
Is there a setting I need to change, for this mod to work, that is new in the 1.10 Version?
kReoSo  [author] 26 Aug, 2023 @ 4:59pm
@MarvinEhre Which game version do you use? This mod is updated to use a new modifier added in 1.10.x so it won't work in the previous version.
MarvinEhre 26 Aug, 2023 @ 1:15pm
This mod is currently not setting the xp of a maxed out Lifestyle to 0, even when I only used this mod a cheat mod.
bingus the wizard 18 Dec, 2022 @ 7:49pm
We need more lifestyles.
Daisuke 7 Nov, 2022 @ 6:47am
Does this only effect basegame lifestyles?
Taipan 27 Oct, 2022 @ 12:41am
Cheers
kReoSo  [author] 26 Oct, 2022 @ 4:27pm
@Taipan default : Graduate a lifestye doesn't do anything other than stat buffs. limited : It kicks only one lifestyle event per time from the lifestyles you've graduated. unlimited : It kicks events from every lifestyles per time you've graduated.
Taipan 17 Aug, 2022 @ 6:37am
Question, can we use only the rule somehow? Thank you. This one: "A game rule is added so that graduating a lifestyle can also unlock the relevant lifestyle events even if you have chosen other lifestyle.(default(disabled)/limited/unlimited)"
Deagroth 27 Jul, 2022 @ 11:39am
It means that if you've graduated from the Martial lifestyle, then swapped to say Diplomacy, the Martial lifestyle events can still come up. Otherwise you only get events for the lifestyle you currently have active.
lol33445 26 Jul, 2022 @ 12:02am
sorry for being dumb i don't quite understand the rule change here plz someone explain thanks
"A game rule is added so that graduating a lifestyle can also unlock the relevant lifestyle events even if you have chosen other lifestyle.(default(disabled)/limited/unlimited)"
Renown 19 Jul, 2022 @ 10:05pm
Could this be stopping the AI from selecting perks?
Zero 9 Jul, 2022 @ 1:10pm
@The Seagull From my understanding it doesn't stop you from picking a focus in a lifestyle, it just stops your from gaining further perk points that you won't ever use.
Seagullathoth 6 Jul, 2022 @ 4:07pm
Instead of stat increases, how about we get the bonuses for the focuses? I'd rather have the 10% tax buff or the Dev % rather than plus whatever to Steward or Learning
Taurom 24 Jun, 2022 @ 8:26am
is this mod working still? or does it needs to be updated?
Tannenzäpfle 25 May, 2022 @ 10:50am
For real, has anyone of you ever completed all the lifestyles without cheating???
XD
Brad 23 Apr, 2022 @ 6:54pm
can you make a mod to graduate your education? aka upgrade it. so if i start out as a rank 1 diplomat i can work my way to grey eminence
Nalesh 27 Mar, 2022 @ 2:57pm
Ah nice, that's a real good implementation.
kReoSo  [author] 27 Mar, 2022 @ 2:51pm
@Nalesh It's changed.(the picture above not updated)

It doesn't have any decisions now. It just removes excessive perks/xp and grant the relevant modifiers automatically.(3 months period)
Nalesh 27 Mar, 2022 @ 2:47pm
What are the requirements for it to show up? I got all three talents in the martial tree and it's not showing up in the major decisions
kReoSo  [author] 27 Mar, 2022 @ 3:25am
Now it should be working hopefully. I've played over 20 years long and no noticeable events overlap occurred.
MegaPoggy 26 Mar, 2022 @ 2:23pm
yes. that was on a fresh test character made from a new game JUST to test your mod after your last update. also your mod doesnt require a new game for new quest firings. thats not baked into the save file
kReoSo  [author] 26 Mar, 2022 @ 2:34am
@MegaPoggy Have you started a new game after the update?
MegaPoggy 25 Mar, 2022 @ 4:18pm
https://imgur.com/a/P6gRhBY
heres an example. its still happening. all 5 pop at once
kReoSo  [author] 25 Mar, 2022 @ 1:32pm
I changed the events other than from your main lifestyle to be fired randomly, once per year(from three months) but not tested it. Let's see if it works.
MegaPoggy 24 Mar, 2022 @ 2:29pm
i love the idea of the events firing forever after you complete a lifestyle, however.... the way its built now all your events all fire at the same time if youve completed multiple lifestyles. It should still only be one event per firing out of ALL your potential events. getting 5 events at once every time feels bad
kReoSo  [author] 8 Mar, 2022 @ 9:22pm
@Worheda Fixed
Worheda 8 Mar, 2022 @ 8:46am
The game rule has a mistake with localization, the description line reads "setting_gl_rule_unlock_lifestyle_events" instead of "setting_gl_rule_unlock_lifestyle_events_desc".
kReoSo  [author] 3 Mar, 2022 @ 3:14pm
@Mark Foxanard I'm busy recently so just made a game rule but couldn't test. Let's see if it works
Mark Foxanard 2 Mar, 2022 @ 4:32pm
"Graduating a lifestyle also unlocks the relevant lifestyle events even if you have other lifestyle."

Can you remove it from the mod? Or at least make this option selective? The fact is that I play for an immortal character and have studied all the lifestyles, as a result of which, on a regular basis, 5 lifestyle-related events appear at one moment, although there should be only one, which is very annoying and makes the mod unplayable.
t@ngent 1 Mar, 2022 @ 6:42am
@insomnia they work together.
Volition 22 Feb, 2022 @ 9:45am
does this mod work with Lifestyle Completion Reward? if it doesn't could you make a compatibility patch? i think both mods are great and could complement each other.
