I mean I can select Logbot, Bruteforce and Defensive AI from the dropdown in the multiplayer menu, but I can't select Resonance AI there.

Hi Resonance.
Interestingly, since 18 june the standard AI has been improved.
On hardest, Computer AI can beat Logbot Custom AI and Bruteforce Custom AI.
What I want is to add just 1 Resonance Custom AI in the game without having to 6vs2.
I don't want it to replace the new standard Computer AI.
Is this possible?

any chance of this AI being released as a custom AI useable on all maps with the exception of water maps?
with the 3.6 patch I'm hoping for a lot more custom AI's

If I try to play 3v1 instead of 6v2, the AI player gets placed right next to one of our humans. I know it's not "officially supported," but is there any way to get the AI town center located in the typical AI position in a 3v1 situation?
In other words, the AI player takes p4 (human)'s spot on the map. Makes it very difficult to play xD

Oh, no. The AI's I listed were create for more than just 1v1. They can be used to battle several opponents at once easily. And they can be used for almost any scenario. I have found a couple more non-cheating AI's on the AOHK site that are working now for AOE HD. Just have to trial and error! gl hf.

Having a blast playing this with friends! Good work Resonance22. If people are unsure of how to play it, you need to start/create a game, and select "Scenario..." and pick it from there.

Changes in the Next Version

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I have been working on the next version and it will be complete in the near future. Here are some of the changes you can expect:
-AI will now build Wonders.
-More map types. If you have suggestions for maps let me know.
-Broken and delayed taunt responses will be fixed.
-Bug fixes.
-AI will play better on maps with both land and water, like Highlands.
-Better military management.
-More Town Center HP.
-AI will run out of resources quicker in long matches.

That is intended yes, however it has come to my attention that it is certainly too easy to just raid their TC and win so that will be changed in the next version.

My AI cheats on all difficulties, albeit very little, because it is designed to fight in an unfair team situation. It is designed to play in a 2v6, so it would need to cheat in order to stand a fair chance. The AIs you've listed were designed for a completely different purpose than mine was. They were made to 1v1 effectively, and my AI was never intended to play anything other than against several opponents at once. That's the entire point of this, to get a bunch of friends and work together to beat some bots.

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciated it. That is a realy weird bug, but I'm glad you brought it to my attention. It never really popped up during testing so that must be a new one. I will look into it and that will most certainly be fixed in the next version which I am already working on.

Thanks again Resonance for this mod, but i experienced a problem with the easiest setting on Hiland. The AI just refused to advacne an age while we were already in the imperial age. So maybe that is worth looking into. We tried it on standard after that and it was working fine and it was a blast to play.

Need more AI's! C'mon those of you with the ability! Please release more AI's. I would love to try this AI, but I don't like the idea of a "cheating" AI. At least not before Hardest difficulty. There are actually a couple old school AI's available on the AOKH Blacksmith that still work. I know that some people are having trouble with compatibility, but the Lade LandRM and BOSS AI's are working, non-cheating AI's for me. I couldn't get any others to work. I REALLY miss the Alliance Thunda Empire AI. No disrespect to the author of this one. I very much appreciate work from anyone with the capability to create this stuff. So, thanks Resonance22 for your addition!

Hey Res, not sure if it works as intended but the AI (still?) GG's after you destroy its TC, which is quite easy with a large enough force of cavarly.

How do I download this map and play it. I am really confused because I cannot find any download option anywhere. I clicked subscribe, as it says subscribe to download, but I still see no option for download...

The AI cheats even on easiest, because it is designed to play with one teammate versus 6 opponents, so the small amounts of free resources even the playing field a bit. I wanted players to be able to invite as many of their friends as possible to work together to beat the AI. Keep in mind that on Easiest though, it is still very easy to defeat even with the slight amounts of extra cash. ;)

In the future I plan to release the AI files for people to use in their own scenarios. But in the meantime, you could always make a copy of my Scenario fils and edit the terrain of the map. As long as you do not touch any of the Player attributes or the Triggers, it will still work fine. :D But keep in mind that under the Terrain tab, there is a button called AI Map Type. Select the map that best matches what your new map looks like. Lastly, make sure his starting area stays relatively the same looking and you're good to go! I will definitely more maps over time of course.

The AI is not available to be played in a standard game unfortunately. I specifically designed it for a 6v2 situation, in which the AI has one teammate and a large number of opponents. It would not function very well in a game without a teammate for example, and it is also designed to take advantage of the extra population it gets, which is only possible through a Scenario file. You cannot give specific players additional population in standard games at the moment.

When playing the Scenario files. make sure all slots are filled with either humans or computer players. You can still play it in Single Player of course if you give yourself Computer teammates.

A much needed improvemnt to the basic AI. Now if only you can make the maps prettier. ; )
