Add me to the 'does it work now properly with LW Aim rolls? I need LW aim for other stuff (and I prefer the graze band set up/config as well.).

i stopped putting it on and had zero issues so long as i let the animation finish

are you using tactical suppressors? because for some reason that will cause it to get stuck 100% of the time if you put a suppressor on your rifle

The visual glitch only happens when you exit from aiming without letting the animation finish like the author says, and it can be removed just by aiming with the vektor rifle.

Can second @Baked Valkyrie in that the effect getting stuck on screen happens far more often than described, regardless of avoiding the described error of attacking too quickly. The mod is nice, but graphical error outweighs purely graphical benefit.

The issue of the post-processing effect lingering onscreen after entering shot preview is a lot more prevalent than suggested in the description. It's happening seemingly at random, regardless of how fast I exit or confirm the shot, multiple times per mission. I think I'd seen it happen before installing this, but it happens orders of magnitude more frequently now.
It's the kind of thing I'd overlook for a gameplay-altering mod, but unfortunately I can't justify using a purely graphical mod when it's making the game look worse almost as often as it makes it look better.
Last updated almost 2 years ago, so I don't expect an update, though of course it would be nice. If this mod is no longer maintained, at least this can be a heads-up for other players.

There's a recurring issue where the Reaper's scope effect seems to linger on screen if you take the shot really quickly before the effect finishes the 'zoom in' animation. Once this happens the effect stays on for the rest of the mission.

I've run into a bug with this where the HUD stays in Shadow mode on other characters turns and won't turn off even with a save/reload and requires a seemingly random going back into Shadow then using an ability that takes it away.

@veehementia just a quick note, I have noticed that the reaper HUD gets stuck when I take a pistol shot. Will send a screenshot next time it happens.

@veehementia Please ignore my messages; the crash wasnt because of this mod. I had enabled GPU Physx in ini and that was causing the crash anytime a Reaper was rendered; even on the main screen!

@Veehementia since the update yesterday, my game crashes as soon as I select Reaper in Robo's Squad Select. I unchecked the plugin in AML and was able to select Reaper for a mission. I can share some logs if you want to have a look?

@Veehementia thank you for the reply! I think then either it might be caused by my laptop occasionally being slow and thus "queuing" up some animations, or possibly Iridar's automatic reload mod in conjuction with "Quicker Reload".

Happens when you cycle too many animations back to back without waiting for them to finish. I'll see if I can do something about it but I'm not sure I can. In any case it should disappear on the next turn regardless, no need to reload.

@Casio e pepe I have had this happen also. However, I believe it is an issue with WOTC and not this mod. I had that happen on occasion for years without this mod. I typically save and reload and it goes away.

Hello! Playing on Linux, with Shire's weapon overhaul. When shooting with the Reaper's pistol, the HUD gets "stuck" with the Reaper effect. I wonder if anyone else had this issue.

@silverleaf1 The vision range does not influence damage (and thus doesn't influences the chance to be revealed either), but Undermine does. I've just pushed an update that will detect if the Reaper has this ability and modify reveal chances accordingly. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

@Veehementia Does the chance take into account some of the abilities of the Proficiency Reaper.? One of the abilities reapers can have is one that extends their visual range. The reaper can shoot and not kill the target with the pistol but as long as it has at least one "shadow pip:" the reaper will stay concealed. It is one of the very high level abilities of the Proficiency Reaper.

@Rev Not a hard requirement, but the chances shown might be incorrect without it (since this mod treats crit rolls and hit rolls as two separate rolls).
Might update in the future to make it accurate without it.

Excellent idea, which does complement nicely the Proficiency Class Pack. I just started playing it and I find it quite nicely built. This add-on improves it fairly, ie without giving an unfair advantage to XCOM. Well done !
