Just tried a method.
Load the save without the mod > quit > load the save with the mod.
This make the mod works again.

As CHRONIC343 said, I can confirm the mod stop working if new character are created in the same save of dead character.

@Tchernobill thank you it worksd and look great with the little green circle. Though I am having a problem when I die and create a new character after dying The next time I load up a new character double clicking stops working and i only see the green circle.

@CHRONIC343 yes, through modoption select cursor behaviour > On active target.
Check also your sandbox options, they are likely to override mod options (this is made for server control in multiplayer but impacts also solo).

Anyway to still have the option to enable and see the green square when clicking the location you want to walk to?

different Idea, is it possible to make a mod that when w is held you walk toward wherever the mouse pointer is and when s is held you walk away from the mouse pointer?

@Tchernobill Thanks for the mod, one question, is there the possibility of adding the UI_ for the Move to option in map mode? I would like to create a translation into Spanish and I see, it won't let me translate that line for that reason. Thank you :)

Sorry took me some to test properly.

The error is gone. But I still managed to get the no visible cursor bug when I did:
Load save
teleport to known bug start location A
Open Map, select move to location B, far away, known to cause issue
Run to location

Press key to move anywhere, no visible cursor.

I usually move from Riverside River "Riparian Entertainment", to west of school to test, in case it makes any difference. It all depends on the first action.

Also it is expected there is no cursor when asking to move to somewhere from the map.

I've had the next error for a while now, happens when I use "move to here" from map option. But lately it seems like the marker stops appearing in some cases, when I use the automove to with key, when it doesn't show up, it keeps that behaviour until reload.

Is it normal that it stops working if i die and respawn with a new character? Cursor still shows but no movement.

Version 1.10 allows you to override client configuration from sandbox Mod AutoMoveTo options.

In the folder 'server' there is a file ISAutoMoveToCursor.lua but everything is commented. I was going to try to hardcode the key or replace the single player file but I really wouldn't know what to do here.
When in MP single click automoves, but in single player I set double click, so no, the server does not take the single player setting :(
The next bad thing is that it would be single click for players joining (haven't tried yet, want to have it twitched and fixed before I ask people to join)

@Joe78man the configuration is saved by modoptions. I guess whatever you choose on your game when playing solo will be also active when you join a server. But that's just a guess.

Thanks for your reply @Tchernobill. Mod Options for server is in the host mod settings, but I see no difference nor additional option to edit automove. Am I missing something? This is not a dedicated server, it's hosting

@Glamorpuss - it works fine on 41.73 - but to use all of the options (including setting a key binding, changing to double click and showing a visible target marker), you need to have the Mod Options mod installed (link in the description) - and then you should get a mod options page as well as the additional key binding

Is this compatible with the 71.73 beta? (That'll be 72 soon.) There's no key-binding setting under player-control for move-to. Maybe this mod could get its own settings tab, like Expanded Helicopter Events? I can move around with click, and use the option in the map screen, but I can't change how the other things work.

main thing was for bashing doors - so instead of having to hold down the button for 40 swings of a bat on a cell door (or more if tired), or hold it down and spam F6 (which does actually work pretty quickly), i could instead toggle auto attack, and either take a moment to go and put the kettle on :-) or use time acceleration to speed it up (if possible)

plus i feel it might have its uses for a last ditch defence with either bat or gun - just unload into the horde and hope for salvation :-)

is not so vital as your auto move which is an absolute gift from the gods :-)

but it is kind of the last control which could do with an auto function to ease the strain on the hands, and add to that overall smoothness :-)

@Tchernobill - ah yes - i saw it and downloaded it today - i suspected it may hold the key to what i wanted (or even include it already), but i was not sure :-)

plus it look incredibly cool in its own right and i am excited to try it :-)

so as soon as i get a handle on my current addiction to downloading every mod that looks interesting, i shall be testing the 40+ mods i downloaded today - including almost a dozen of yours :-)

many thanks for these awesome mods - even though i have only so far tried this one, i am confident that all your others will be pretty darn awesome :-)

really awesome mod - expanding on a useful vanilla feature to make it super awesome :-)

being able to keep running or sprinting as you click is immensely awesome - as is the target indicator

just really really awesome - thanks so much :-)

(and i shall be checking out all your other mods too)

just wondering - do you know if it is possible to automate the attack function? i suspect it may not be, due to not having a button or context command, and because it requires the player to be in aim mode - but i figured if anyone might know, it would be you :-)

hosting MP it works but how can I change it to double click? single click is the worst option possible, I'd recommend double click as default.

Is it possible to HOLD the key + left cliking? Because when you hold the key and leftclik the character moves as expected but when you leftclick again while the character is walking (and still holding the key) the character doesn't change the direction.

41.66 In local MP server host, after I die and create a new character, I think the AutoMoveTo function stops working?

The pre-visualization green square on target is placed on the ground but doesn't get removed and the character never walks to it.

Is this a known issue?

@Fuyuno You can use minimap move to to get killed now with version 1.8. Happy ? :steammocking:

@OmniXBro See with Chuckle for auto-eat. auto-drink is vanilla. for the movement, get on a roof with Zs closeby and sneak into a built corner with a pile of coins to press your keyboard's arrows. :steamhappy:
