We had an op with this map before Project America was added, or at least, it wasn't required then.

Can we get a version of this map that does not require it? Or at least the terrain data so someone else can make it? we only care about the terrain, not the objects.

Oh that milemarker idea is nice. I'm sure Google Earth has their exact locations. I know I tend to use the mission in settings where landnav/location information is important, so those could help people without maps find their way around.

Really love the terrain. Definitely one of the better US themed terrains in arma 3. I also enjoy that you still update the terrain regularly. I feel like the main highway could use some mile markers. Project America has some nice ones. I think that would make driving a little more engaging. Maybe also consider adding a school or something like that next to the track & field stadium.

Guys, the bug is definitely from project america. But it is only for a specific object which I will remove. Probably they are not using this object in Limestone. You can verify this too in VR. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3274114895

I desided to troubleshoot this pop up message further and got interesting results!
Turns out that your map seem to have a conflict with popular editor extension called 3DenEnhanced.

I know that I am supposed to test mods on their own at first, but this mod is very useful for mission makers and I don't remember it ever causing any pop ups in the past. Or so the story goes...
Also, it seems that mod @TW_Buildings, when lauhched on its own without Twin Lakes, causes no pop up messages.
I suggest you to check it out and try to replicate my pop up on your machine.
I am very curious if it is your map or something weird on my end!

Ok I thought that I'd removed all the TW trailerpark but maybe something got left behind. If that's the case loading this mod should remove the error until I can get a fix in: @TW_Buildings. If that doesn't do it than I'll need to do some more digging.

When I play on the map "Project America - Limestone, FL USA" I don't get this message.

Hello!
I get this pop up message when I open the map in the editor first time in a session:
"Cannot load texture 575_blc\struc3\doorw_nohq.paa."
The map works fine though!
Also, I randomly noticed slightly floating objects in the area of Granite airport.
They are located around following coordinates: [20791.5,28829.6,0]

Project America would be really great, would actually fit the US theme of the map compared to CUP's eastern european and middle eastern buildings

I don't really have a good diagram right now, but here's the flat spot I mentioned (link below). The southern brown side would probably be the better option to clear out since if players decide to build something around it, it's a more worn area and not a perfect grass field. I don't really have exact dimensions right now, but I'd figure the GM DLC's Airport Helper is a good approximation for size. IMO it doesn't really even need to be a runway actually built into the map, just an area without obstruction that just happens to be big enough to land.

Very much enjoying some of the new exterior additions to the Apache complex! Is there any possibility some of the flat ground by the complex's western dirt road could be cleared of rocks? It's a great spot for buildings, a short hidden runway, etc., but rocks aren't very good to have in the middle of a building, helipad, or airstrip.

My source files are not in the best shape right now. I tried improving the cell size before but the size of the terrain caused some issues, I'll need to see if it's fixable. I think you should be able to cross it in a jeep without getting stuck right.

Any chance the rivers will be "sunken" in the future? I know it's a big cell size, but fording/floating across is just too easy, especially when doing whole-map scenarios like Warlords where getting to your next objective is one of the things to consider.

Huh that's a strange error... What if you do not repack the pbo and just use the one directly from the mod and sign it? Does that work?

It's seemed reasonable enough that I could do the packing and signing like I did with TW buildings for Tonopah map and had no error, but anyways I posted that in the technical discussion.

@Frost993 if you want just send me a fixed version and I can bake it in or just republish it. PBO project was giving me issues I'm not sure if it's internal to Em which I might not be able to correct. It was saying missing some files even though they seem to be there. If you have any thoughts on how to fix that go ahead and put it in the technical discussion.

I'd also like to add that em buildings author allows repacking (at the top of his page) so there is no issue with repacking it within this mod. If you wish I could reupload it with a fixed key if you wish to keep it an external dependency, or if you'd rather do it you could too.

EM buildings looks signed to me. I looked inside the mod folder and there were keys there. Looked through his comments and didn't see anything about not signed.

Twin Lakes is a great map, the only issue for my unit is that the mod EM buildings does not have a signed server key so we cant use it :(

I'll take a look at that mod, but I didn't want to add any additional dependencies. Everyone already has cup terrains core. There will be some open space left over where you can put down mission specific buildings to your liking.
