Usually when people are complaining about a game being too tough it's a good sign that the game is challenging. I wouldn't sweat it unless YOU KNOW you tried to create a game that is a death trap. I always figure that I'd rather die a few times, and be pissed off than get bored because the game is too easy.
I recommend trying to play the Mod A Stich in Time, to get an idea of a well balanced, but challenging battle scape.
Don't let the noobs throw you, challenge them to use a little strategy and skill. I'm going to try and make a big mod soon and I won't be revamping to make it easier once it's done. If shadowrunners didn't die no one would call shadowrun "Dangerous Work". ;)
Thanks
however it's not perfect the outdoor levels are not detailed enough (but i've loved the miser realm even if it's imported). it's the same problem with the dialogues, they are too short.
**spoilers**
i've spotted two bugs:
in the mister johnson's side quest you need to open a gate with a decker (belladonna) but i can't do it, the game said i had not the deck skill to do it.
when you have to save firestorm you can talk to a prostitute and propose her to follow you for saving her that does'nt work.
My only small gripes would be that some of the enemies don't pose a huge threat (with crowd control spells) while having truck loads of HP so fights can turn into a bit of a whack a mole situation.
Very solid series and great story that evolves well and doesn't feel forced or lame like a lot of other content can do.
Top notch work Mole!
BTW, missed the "200 karma" warning so my beginningish character barely survived the gangs until I met up with the team, but it's smoother for me now.
TYPO SPOTTED.
Look for the word "unwise".
Beside this - great content so far - started with a 200 karma character - does pretty good.
