GVP does not modify the Citizen Service civic in any way,
The Destroyer of Worlds 22 febr. 2022 la 7:34
(I’m playing with the ethics and civics classic mod, so the citizen service is only available in “indirect democracy”)
The Destroyer of Worlds 22 febr. 2022 la 7:33
Citizen Service should be available for oligarch and dictatorial authorities
LittleRaskol  [autor] 20 febr. 2022 la 14:25
It's gonna be a while before I have a version up for 3.3 tbh. But it's disturbing to learn that it's doing something with the random names?
Geki 20 febr. 2022 la 8:31
I have blank empire names in the 3.3 beta branch with your mod.
The Destroyer of Worlds 19 febr. 2022 la 22:16
Excellent work. How did I not discover this mod earlier?
LittleRaskol  [autor] 5 febr. 2022 la 3:59
It's still in development! That said, I would set my expectations for what this will actually look like to something other than true random chance. I can't get around the Stellaris elections system and don't want to just reskin Imperial.
Rolepgeek 4 febr. 2022 la 18:13
Hi, I found your mod as a result of you mentioning sortition in the 3.0 version as part of a civic you were planning/thinking of adding - did you happen to add that? I really enjoy using Stellaris to recreate nations from game and settings I take part in but haven't been able to find a single mod that adds sortition-based governments to the game yet. I couldn't find anything in the Big Lists about it but wasn't sure if maybe I'd maybe just missed it or the like.

Thanks!
LittleRaskol  [autor] 28 ian. 2022 la 5:28
So, that should be fixed.
LittleRaskol  [autor] 25 ian. 2022 la 7:19
Oh wait no, I never updated its tooltip actually lol.
LittleRaskol  [autor] 25 ian. 2022 la 7:13
Do you mean the in-game description? It should have that in its tooltip unless something is wrong...

I have just neglected to update the descriptions on this page in a while though, so good idea there.
MrFunEGUY 24 ian. 2022 la 17:08
Also, as an aside, I didn't even realize Imperial Economy came with special subject types until I saw one in game that I didn't recognize. Might be worth making it more clear in the civic description. Makes the civic significantly more appealing.
MrFunEGUY 24 ian. 2022 la 15:36
Yeah that'd be ideal, because I'm pretty much always using this mod.
LittleRaskol  [autor] 24 ian. 2022 la 14:19
Oh cool, thanks! Should I let you know if future updates have new vassal types etc?
MrFunEGUY 24 ian. 2022 la 7:09
I added support for the Imperial Economy subjects to Vassals Expanded and Reworked,
Teamson 17 ian. 2022 la 19:04
Can confirm - update worked.

Thanks you for your mod and this great update!
LittleRaskol  [autor] 17 ian. 2022 la 13:22
Sorry, I don't think I understand the question? If you mean, will updating to this version of the mod (from an older version) mess up any empires you created, I doubt it. Nothing has been removed in a while so anything your custom empires point to in the mod should still be there.
Teamson 17 ian. 2022 la 12:43
Would updating to the new version mess with my factions? as i´ve created 60 of them with so much love. I am scared, pleas help.^^

If my factions could get messed up - would it be ok to just use the old version?
Crazy Old Texan 31 dec. 2021 la 8:12
And Happy New Year to you too.
Solitude 28 dec. 2021 la 7:15
This is a wonderful mod, and perhaps my favorite one on the whole workshop. Bless you and your creative potential!
LittleRaskol  [autor] 21 dec. 2021 la 15:59
The "Big List of Governments" thread has a post documenting government requirements by the way!
vandiris 21 dec. 2021 la 10:57

Ghost Fox 20 dec. 2021 la 12:41
Imperial authority, Institutionalized Collectivism, Cult of Personality, and some degree of Militarist. If I'm reading the code properly.
vandiris 20 dec. 2021 la 8:47
how do I become an Insurrectionary Lineage, tryna make a space-rome and it seems to fit the feel the most.
LittleRaskol  [autor] 18 dec. 2021 la 10:47
Just noticed someone's done a Japanese localization patch. If you can read this but would prefer to read the mod's text in Japanese, it's got you covered: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2682891259&searchtext=
LittleRaskol  [autor] 5 dec. 2021 la 5:48
New update:
-Colonial Fiefs now has a policy that allows for pops to migrate and start new vassal empires.
-Added three new "advanced" mutually-exclusive and antagonistic starting-only civics focused on the idea of cultures that specialized in different domains of knowledge. Any non-gestalt empire can start with them.

LittleRaskol  [autor] 5 dec. 2021 la 4:56
I actually saw angler during testing and was very confused lol

On that note, expect a new update later today!
Morzan 4 dec. 2021 la 19:16
Sorry yea I derped it was actually a different mod!
Ghost Fox 4 dec. 2021 la 18:19
@Morzan
Are you sure? This mod doesn't touch 00_civics.txt at all, so it shouldn't be capable of removing anything.
Morzan 4 dec. 2021 la 17:55
This mod seems to have removed Angler from the Aquatics DLC. was this intentional?
Kc40k 4 dec. 2021 la 7:53
This mod is essential for the variety it adds. 10/10. Good work sir.
Novarcharesk 27 nov. 2021 la 16:45
I don't know if this is a me thing, but I have subscribed to the mod, yet it isn't showing up in my mod list when I launch the game. Would anyone have any pointers of how to rectify this? Even my Steam list displays the downloading action, implying the mod is there somehow.
Crazy Old Texan 27 nov. 2021 la 7:47
Thank you
LittleRaskol  [autor] 27 nov. 2021 la 7:25
Update is live, please report any issues.
LittleRaskol  [autor] 27 nov. 2021 la 7:03
So this is confirmed: Pops can't take GVP-added jobs because jobs calculate who can take them differently now. I will put out a fix soon. Unfortunately, this means that saves running on 3.1 (Lem) will not work after the update. I didn't anticipate this update being "major" enough to require a backup version but I will see about putting up one later if there is demand. For anyone: lmk if that would be of use to you.
LittleRaskol  [autor] 26 nov. 2021 la 13:21
Christ.
greensniperhat 25 nov. 2021 la 23:31
heads up: 3.2 replaces job checks with possible_precalc, so some jobs will break.
LittleRaskol  [autor] 22 nov. 2021 la 4:00
Having reviewed the patch notes for 3.2 "Herbert" I have no reason to believe this update will break GVP. Please ignore the "out of date" mod warning for this mod and any of its patches/alternate versions until I get the time to update their compatible version number.
LittleRaskol  [autor] 13 nov. 2021 la 4:46
I can't crack it open to look right now, but just peeping at the ethics wheel, it looks like a fork of the "Ethics & Civics Overhaul" type mods, so if there is anything dopey happening (e.g. communist govs/civics on a fanatic "capitalist" empire) the patch for that might help. But I really would have to check and see if it removed any of the base game ethics, civics, and authorities "tokens" to be sure. If you load them both up, does anything seem broken?
GARYMAX 12 nov. 2021 la 13:43
@LittleRaskol is this mod compatible with the Stellaris Evolved mod?
LittleRaskol  [autor] 7 oct. 2021 la 12:42
New update: Imperial Economy is allowed to change vassals into specialized subjects.
LittleRaskol  [autor] 29 sept. 2021 la 14:31
Oh, they're back!
LittleRaskol  [autor] 29 sept. 2021 la 4:44
Nope. They're supposed to be in threads in the discussion section, which actually I cannot see either. Also the link is broken. No idea why!
Cannon Fodder 28 sept. 2021 la 17:46
Howdy, I am not sure of this is just on my end but the master list of governments and civics are no longer available. Is this purposeful?
LittleRaskol  [autor] 28 sept. 2021 la 7:08
None of those patches need to be updated. They are just blank files that override files from the main mod. See the description of the patch for details.

That said... if you are seeing GVP-added governments when using it, let me know.
WhiteDragon25 28 sept. 2021 la 6:50
Any chance for the Civics Variety Patch alternate version to be updated as well? For those who want only the civics and origins, not the governments.
LittleRaskol  [autor] 28 sept. 2021 la 6:14
New update, check change notes but the big items are:
-Combat Data now has a chance to improve military intel on an empire after the end of a space battle with that empire.
-Fixed an issue where mod-added branch office buildings were not useful for criminal syndicate empires. Now all branch office buildings added by this mod will give a flat +20 crime for criminal syndicates. This is balanced by legit megacorps having a better "normal" bonus.
LittleRaskol  [autor] 28 sept. 2021 la 4:17
I don't know how Starnet AI works so I couldn't say. A patch should not be *needed* though because there shouldn't be any conflicting files or tokens.
era 27 sept. 2021 la 11:24
Nice! But does this play well with Starnet AI? Or would a patch be needed?
