I think it's specifically an issue with the sparring mod, I wouldn't worry about it.

They are Tier 3 though, so sorta rare and you can chalk it up to decoration (from afar it looks that way). Tier 4 Southern are Red and I actually like them a lot.

It only really became obvious on the weapons that had a bunch of gold in them, tbh. They look kinda weird lol

Np, although I do wonder if there's a way to fix it. I guess that this has always existed but when I was only playing with the Hiver Expansion I didn't notice it because I wasn't going out of my way to mess with them and with the Rogue Hivers it sorta fit with their scrappy looks so it didn't bother me enough to think it wasn't supposed to look like it.

I don't know what causes it, but it might have something to do with that mod or simply the fact that we can't easily pick a texture for a Weapon Manufacturer so the game just goes with something.
I don't think they look terrible, especially if you don't stay zoomed in, but at this point I wouldn't know how to fix it.

I've tried reorganizing my load order, a bunch of diff ways, I've tried installing NWDM from both steam and from Nexus, since those are two diff versions.

I couldn't find a way to choose which colour the different tiers of weaponry get, if you're talking about that metallic dark red it's just the texture the game chose for the last tier. I personally like it that way because it fits with the dark red armour of the elite troops that wield them.

If it is something else it might be something else though. Care to share a screenshot so I can compare it to my game?

Anyone else have texture issues with the Queen's Tribute weapons?I tried disabling all my texture mods but they still look like they're loading a mismatched texture.

Love the mod otherwise though. :)

In theory yes. If you haven't loaded the area in which the outpost is (in the patch notes, under a spoiler to see the location) it might spawn anyways, but I wouldn't count on that. What I typically do in these cases is I wait for some milestones (usually after I get rid of my important prisoners because you can't import them over) and then import with dead people, relations etc all kept.

It depends on where you are. If you are in starting areas only weak patrols should spawn, and they are comparable to dust bandits and triangle bandits. If you really think they are overtuned you can easily fix it by going into the FCS, loading the mod, go to biomes -> spawn areas and adjust the weight. I'll do it for the uploaded version on the Workshop if I receive some more feedback like this.

This is really cool, but I will say between them being hyper aggressive and killing off the other bandits and just their seemed spawn weight: you only tend to find their camps and noone elses. which is kind of annoying, especially early with how strong they are. I'd adjust that personally.

Have you tried putting it below the Fog Prince race mod? In my other comment I forgot to mention that while what's lower overrides what's higher up, it only overrides what is different, it also inherits everything which doesn't overlap from above. So it might simply be the case that the mod it's looking for the skin file that is missing because of load order.

Can you tell me exactly what the error says? Does it prevent you from playing or is it just a pop-up when you load a game that you can just dismiss? Does it say RACE all capital letters? If that's the case it shouldn't prevent you from just playing, it's just a remnant of something the Fog Prince modder did when creating the new race (although I thought I had fixed it tbh). Or is it something else?

Hey Malu, thanks for the quick reply, i passed out right after I posted. I reordered everything, except fog prince, its a mod game start by :). I can't seem to find where it goes, cause i get the error "no valid skin for race" I just realized it was a separate mod i installed apart from everything you mentioned in your mod "pack/list" I appreciate the help with the load order for everything else, If you have any suggestions for the placement of "Fog Prince" i'd appreciate it, though it could just be an issue with the "Fog Prince", or it could be a non compatible mod, I'll see if their author can help too. As a general rule, what is down overrides what is above if there's any confilct. So you go: UI, textures, character creation, races, game starts, minor factions and additions (bounties, items on people), large factions additions (like the expansion mods), buildings, armours and weapons, AI tweaks, cities, economy, large world states edits (such as Reactive World)

I can't seem to get the mod load order right, I've looked at other guides, and I'm pretty sure I've structured it all correctly. But, so far its UI mods, Animation mods, Rouge Hive, Grand Hive Prince, Grand Hive Prince Compatibility HE, Hiver_Expansion, Fogman Prince, a couple building mods and armor/weapon mods, then New Weapons Dissemination mod, NWDM remove hiver weapon, bug fix mods. If anyone knows what i could do to fix it i'd love any input.

Just to add some more variance to them, also the parasite is just one theory, an other one is that the Deadhives are going blue and crazy because their Queen died, and since the Rogues have no Queen that might be causing them too degenerate.

High level patrols are more common in the southern-most part of the world, but they can spawn in the Vain too. Good spots for high levels are Bonefield. Royal Valley, Dreg and Cheater's Run.
Also build a base and fight their raids if you want to face their full might (they take a while to escalate, but the final raid is no joke).

Also, if you like the idea of strong bandits patrol check out my other mod Horned Bandits, bands of heavily armoured Shek that roam the northern section.

They can be a bitch in the Vain as they can spawn their mid-level patrols, but if you play around the large amount of Beak Things and Hive Villages they can actually become a good source of cash. Keep your guard up, though, cause getting ambushed isn't pretty.

Vain, Hub, Greyshelf and some other southern areas like the Bonefields. Sometimes in HN territory too iirc. Of course they scale on the area, so in the border zone they are comparable to Dust Bandits while in Greyshelf they are comparable to the Southern Hivers (if stronger, depending on the type of squad, there are several combinations).

I think you can, but some enemies would spawn without a weapon. You should go in the FCS and replace their weapons with something vanilla.

As to how they work, if the raid is defeated they send progressively stronger raid. The end raids are extremely strong. The interval between raids is about 3-4 days (normal timer, can increase in the options "raid frequency") and there are a dozen tiers iirc, so around 40 days from start to finish. If you lose a raid they reset to a weaker raid (low tier if before a certain treshold, mid tier if above it).
