Sadly this does not appear to be working anymore, natives own almost the entirety of north america every game for me :(

Not that I am aware of. I would still recommend making a backup of your save first though.

Yes. It changes the starting scenario to have less natives, and changes their AI to not settle. However if you only want it to remove their free dev it should work on an existing save.

I wish there was a less devastating nerf than this. This turns natives from OP to completely powerless, I still want them to have SOME fighting chance. Maybe reduce colony growth speed?

Playing the latest patch, did a clean reinstall just to be safe and it only crashes with the 'failed to upload files' message when the mod is installed.

I figured out what was causing the crash, it is now fixed. also i found another thing that was causing natives to get free dev and removed that as well.
