@Waruiko Monument locks up right after somebody first chooses it in the selection menu and there is several ways how construction can be disrupted, destroying the monument and the ability to build it. Since you are playing with ET and i'm not familiar with it, there is many reasons it could happen, which include my own bad coding decisions. If you know how to make mods, then you can try to create single use decision to clear the global flag used to track if it was chosen by someone and then try to build it again, other than that, i don't know any possible solutions. I never used the save editor and that functionality may be also available there, but can't say sure

I've got a bug to report

Playing as Yamato -> Japan with the Extended timeline mod, though this hasn't caused problems before.
Build the [ministry of production] asap.
Some time later I go to move it to my capital and can't find it. I check the ledger of great projects and it says that it hasn't been built at all.
I save the game and use the [tech] console command to bring me from 7/7/7 tech to 8/8/8 and the [cash] command to check if I just forgot or something but when I activate the decision [ministry of production] is missing from the available options.

Is there a console command or something I could use to get it back?

@ChipopHQ Okay, keep in mind that ai also builds them and they can exist only in single example in all world

I have the original mod, I can see the decision, but I can't actually enact it.

@ChipopHQ Explain your issue further please. Do you have original mod? Can you see the decision itself? Can you enact it and open event with choice? Also i havent done anything with the mod for around half a year, recent patches could broke something, cant promise anything but i'll at least try to force myself to do something with it this week

I have met all of the requirements of building a generic monument. But I can't build a monument. Is there something I am doing wrong?

@Squad Lieutenant Jarod So, i updated both mods, changes won't help remove duplicats on currents saves, but, hopefully, will prevent whem from happening in future, but i'm not sure for this exact submod. With the original version it is a lot easier to control and debug most of the things, while for this it is tonns of situations in which ai can screw up somehow.
Thanks for the report btw, i'm not often receiving any feedback and, since i'm barely playing anymore, i can't see if something is wrong

-This is not bug, that thing is intended to prevent bugs

-This is a bug which was introduced when paradox added ability to destroy monuments, only one of them actually give bonuses
At least now i'm aware that second thing may happen and will look for way to fix this

Hello,

This mod (or the primary mod) has an issue where in multiplayer players cannot build the same monuments or go into the monument event/decision when another is in it. The AI does not have this issue as in my current run my friend cannot build the grand bazaar but 2 AI's have it (one in india and one in rome)

I was aware the AI built them too, but was unaware that an AI building one prevented me from building one. Does it only allow one instance of any given monument IE China builds a great bank and then I can't build one ever, or is it that I need to wait for theirs to finish building before I can start mine?

@Waruiko Monuments under construction won't show themself on monuments map mode and this pretty much explains your entire "Bug" thing. Pretty sure if you wait 10 years you will see all of them.

I got the bug again without having formed a new nation and was able to figure out that for some reason the game thought all possible monuments had been built even though they had not so the decision was removed and when forced with the console the only option was "I changed my mind"

ah no it was at the start of an Extended Timeline game on Ironman so it got saved over. I decided to just use the console to trigger the event in the future as other than the decision vanishing after changing tags it seems to work fine.

So this mod isn't working for me. the base buildable monuments works fine with all my other mods, but at some point the decision removes itself from my decisions list. I think its from forming a formable nation, in my case the Inca.

For this submod, decision disappears only if all monuments are built, thats the only condition, AI status don't influence it

Yes, I used disabled AI to tag switch. If renable it will the decision return?

There is no such limits, when i was only half-way through development, i once built every existing monument in HRE just to check if the tooltips are match their bonuses.

Idk way you testing things, if you are using console with disabled ai, then you just ran out of provinces to build, if you are doing this in playthrough, then AI is just stealing them from you.

AI is too unpredictable to clearly say why this happens, i never coded it that way

Is there a global/regional limit on how many custom monuments? I wanted to test how many I could build and it seems theres only 12 allowed globally, I'm testing this in singleplayer and I have checked that there are no custom monuments being constructed among the nations that have custom monuments
