@TxoByte no plane requires the dlc, if you want the dlc parts to actually work then you need the dlc, but you can use the plane without the dlc if you don't care about the weapons working

@TxoByte the new dlc is really good and i think almost everything is going to start converting their builds to it.

made a typo Air Intakes CAN'T be spun backwards so thats an issue wich you would have even with normal jet power via exaust.

if you are looking for more range you can put an Medium Turbine with Powerport directly behind an Large Air Intake and use a Turbine to Spin it this way you can use Gearboxes to have lower RPS on the Turbine itself. Means you can even use Diesel Engines and have the Exaust hidden behind an Turbine exaust and still blow smoke out of it.

so its kinda like using Ducted fans except that Air Intake can be spun backwards for reverse Thrust but it keeps the jet engine Look and having the Power Port on the outside makes designing it more bulky.

only thing i would sugest is moving the fuel probe lower and more forward to the cockpit windows so you can see it better from the inside. And for the Tail you can have flat sides and tilt them into position using robotic Pivots.

i will eagerly follow your progress and hope for seperate versions for Air Tankers and maybe AC-130 Style Gunships
