Not sure why you would get that idea, the mod is explained in detail, even on a Technical level.
Just balance reasons
Here you can find a deep explanation of each building https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/2630049503/4328514571294671445/
Most crafting uses FARMING stat, so your combat level won't matter.
Masterwork items will appear since Farming 85 onwards IIRC.
If you are using any mod that changes the research trees it won't work.
I've answered you in my profile, I'll make the patch and upload it to nexus as soon as I can because it's a huge download and I need the overhaul first for the patch (:
The _Starts uses the modded primitive tool, so its a lot different from the _Default Start.
I'll send you the overhaul name at your profile chat.
Just enable the following buildings: chi Condensation, chi data and chi research. All starts have some basic research (to make campfires or campbeds for example), you can add whatever building you want there, otherwise your patch won't be compatible with future updates I'm planning to do.
I can make the patch myself too and upload it to nexus if you want, it's a really quick process and doesn't require adjusting anything else than adding those 3 research to any start from the overhaul you want. In fact you can add it to the research group itself (for example, on vanilla game you have "_Default Start", "_Low Start", etc) that the overhaul is using (and I'm sure it's using one, otherwise players won't be able to create campbeds without a blueprint in game)
I may have to shift the meditation a bit though; the adjusted start makes it difficult to have it available at the start.
Sure thing, but let me know how it's called to look it up and maybe try it myself. Thank you for asking!
Can I have permission to make a patch for an overhaul I saw at Nexus? I won't be able to post it at Steam, but can I post it at Nexus?
That was an amazing review, thank you <3

Oh don't worry, I understand it's annoying but I had no choice, my apologies regardless. Good luck in your playthrough!
when it comes to what I said it was a personal problem I guess.
I'm doing a specialized play-through. Beyond rock bottom play-through. no limbs, & naked out in the dessert. 1 billion cats in dept, & -100 faction with everybody.
I'm actually trying to get out of the 1B dept. which requires I don't Import.
Importing resets money and factions to "0". Making it counter intuitive to my play-through.
I have a 100+ squad. all have no natural limbs. all but a few were using the Anukara Limbs.
fancy my surprise when I logged into my game & all of my guys are without arms/legs laying on the ground.
Needless to say, I was "WTF", & I over reacted. so sorry I didn't go into an explanation of why it was a "play through breaking update."
I'll just spend a few hours making new limbs for everyone.
Zula conduit and gems (besides the ones on BELT slot) elimination shouldn't be important enough to cause a save breaking bug.
- Deleted Anukara limbs (tech was based on a fixed bug, no longer working in game)
- Gems now can only be equipped on BELT slot.
- REWORKED CONDUITS:
* Zula and Cakra conduit merged into Organic Conduit, using Cakra mesh (Disc)
* Gola conduit renamed Robotic Conduit, same mesh (Orb)
* Organic values: x1,5 against humans and animals / x0,5 against robots
* Robotic values: x1,5 against robots / x0,5 against humans and animals
- Deleted Zula conduit
- Changed "Dipika Link" name to "Light Link"
- Changed "Dipika Prime" name to "Light Prime (Animals)"
- Changed armour penetration value of all Stoma from 0,1 to 0,5
- Renamed "Daksu" to "Fireball"
- Changed Roasted Gristle Flaps nutrition value from 10 to 7
- Changed Foul Raw Meat Firbeball input/output ratio from 3/1 to 1/1
IMPORT IS REQUIRED
P.s: I'm sorry if this update was too disruptive!
A Conduit it's like a crossbow, they have 3 types: Cakra, Gola and Zula, you can make those Conduits using the Shaper meditation (Those items can be found onShaper (All) or Shaper (Weapons)).
Kenshi, sadly, has some hardcoded stuff and you cannot have that kind of ranged attack without a "crossbow" type weapon
Chi balls behave like crossbow ammo, if you already have a Conduit it should use it right away if ranged attacks are on. Each ball has 10 ammo.
To create a Conduit you can also use those Chi balls, since they also behave like materials, ammo and research artifact at the same time. How is going to be used it will depend on what kind of meditation you want to perform.
If you have more questions let me know!
How do you equip these?
He doesn't use them straight away or do I have mediate more to get any use of of these things?
I'll also cut some starts and will merge them on the "Starts addon mod", to avoid cluttering on massive mod lists and only doing that said clutter if the user activelly wants it.
If anyone have suggestions or quesiton, I'm really open to read them and give them a thought
Right now, I'm doing a "To-Do list", this is what will def change:
- Stat increase for most items (mainly protection/HP)
- Change on most names, simplifying them
- Better english on everything (including descriptions)
- Redoing the explanation thread from scratch, I'll use images
- Basic few clothes, probably just black versions of already existing clothes on kenshi (not a new idea at all, but it'll have the chi twist)
- Changes on textures
Thank you!
It's just a scorchlander with a geen skin mod I was using: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2068222108 but I've stopped using since it was too green and I was looking for something like the picture of that mod, so I also made my own version of "teal" scorchlander skin: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2645757721
I hope this helps! Thank you for playing the mod!
Yeah no problem, just put this mod as dependency on the workshop if you upload it, because it doesn't happen automatically
Currently I'm taking a long break of Kenshi because I forced myself too much to play for testing this mod and leaving it as polished as I could... I'll think about it in the future, but probably would involve just tweakings to the values and some fixes on meshes rather than doing clothes. I'll probably just work with vanilla stuff if that's the case, but for now to be honest I'm not interested on doing that. I'll copy your suggestion to the suggestions thread so I'll not forget about this in the future.
Thank you for playing this :)
Seriously? Amazing and no problem mate, thanks to you for wanting to play my mod!
I know what happened to the mod! Stupid me, but when I've updated the mod I didn't set up the "not listed" and was again into "friends only" because the fcs doesn't have "not listed". This is my fault but I know the patch work! Don't refuse Interactive World, clrealy is a great mod, could you try one more time?
It's just hard for me to refuse "Interactive World" because this is 50% of the trip where you can stop by the river and go fishing and much more.

That's weird, did you deleted the changes you've made right? And you aren't subscribed to the patch. In any case, I'm sure it should work because I've added the buildings on the same way I've did into vanilla research start, you can look a comparision here:
https://imgur.com/a/qIHihIA
And this is how it works in game:
https://imgur.com/a/v5tcvOR
As you can see, there is MEDITATION and SURVIVAL at the same time and nothing else.
In any case, interactive world only removed start research, my items still exist since you cannot delete preemptively things from another mod without being a dependency... and Interactive World and Asura Chi aren't related at all. This is why I'm sure something else is happenning in your end, but after the patch update it should work even on existing saves of Interactive World starts.
You can only see the patch mod if you enter through the link (is "not listed"): https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2674258245
