Hey any chance to update this? rly Enjoy sogdian cav....i dont know why they dont add it to the mod since even have a Sogdian party in the mod :)

Hi all, Appreciate some of you still use this and I have been quiet for a long time. I dont have the time I used too sadly. I want to update this and compress it. I will remove reforms and bring units in line to thorax and Theuros reforms. That way its easier to maintain for myself. I will remove units that do not make sense anymore and maybe re jig some other units if I have time. I hope you all still enjoy the mod.

beautiful mo add more variety to the campaign.also if ur using settler mod make sure the setker is ontop of mod manager

Nice but all of Indo-Hellenic units are historically inaccurate. Bactria was based in Central Asia (Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), Indo-region is from Pakistan to India.

Really like these unit packs and add ons for DEI. Is there a chance you will make a Pontus unit pack or add on in the future?

Just a note, i have the same issue as @ByTheOmnissiah#℧EmperorsFinest℧, however I am not using the same submod. The only submod I am using is an emblems compilation and AAA: Generals - Greeks. The mod unit show a class key error.

No they aren't compatible. If I get time ill take a look and see if I can make a patch if its not to time consuming.

@jake0843 Im using some dei submods but i have found out that the settlers submod is the problem. If i load settlers first then baktiran units get this class key error. If i load this mod first then the settlers get it. Its really bothering cause the settler mod is really helpful but it seems they are not compatible with each other. :/

@Waxlar that's a recent change in DEI all cavalry except a few exceptions are recruit able from pop 2 & 1. I will need to update my mods to reflect this but thanks for reminding me.

I like your mods but one thing bothers me :) your horse units are recruited from 3 castes but in the basic DEI worst horse units recruit from 2 castes :)

Playing as Bactira with my friend in multiplayer and i got some units that have this error : Missing unit calss key or something. When i recruit them they didint draw from the population pool. And i also got random crashes. Any ideas ?

Bactria quality of life update 05/10/2022 -

- Visual overhauls on Parthohellenic Cavalry, Indohellenic Axemen and Indohellenic Guard.

- Visual tweaks on Indian infantry, Bactrian Companions, Yuezhi Cataphracts, Indohellenic pikemen and Sogdian Cavalry.

- All new unit cards for each unit.

- Bactrian Companions now capped at 2 per army.

- Yuezhi Cataphracts now capped at only being able to recruit 6 at one time.

@Prometheus - a couple units will be getting a rework as bactria has been updated. In terms of new units, possibly 1 maybe 2. When I am done re doing Colchis ill be working on this.

Well I've never tried it before but, assuming the only difference is you get to use the units without capturing the specified settlements, I'd be interested (as well as for the other "what if?" mods, simply to have total freedom with the sweet units) but if its not a popular things no sweat.

Evening,

I have an update for you all -

At the moment its full steam ahead on another reform pack i am working on. I am hoping for a release by the weekend, all i will say about it is that its probably the most ambitious pack i have done so far. As for the Medewi they have two reform units that i need to complete and implement and then i will consider their pack mainly done. After the New pack i will be doing custom officers and generals for all my packs and tidying up any VMD's that need it, before i start another pack in the new year.

Hi All,

If your having unit errors with class and key its because you are using nods which modify the script. Try placing my mod higher in the load order or let me know which mods you are using and i may make some compatibility patches. On a side note...


The Medewi reforms pack is nearly ready for initial release, it will be compatible with this pack - expect it this week at some point...

Hey, first off thanks for the great mod, it really spiced up bactria's roster and made them even more enjoyable but i think i stumbled upon a minor issue. In campaign when i recruit the mod's units i see "Error unit has no class keys assigned!" over the unit instead of the population class. It is not game breaking or anything but kind of immersion breaking due to the problem with population mechanic.

Update day today, the final addition - (for the time being) Bactrian Companions! Now that this pack is done for now i will be working on a Medewi pack after a couple days away. As usual let me know of any issues, i hope you all enjoy the pack and thanks for all of your input.

Also tomorrow will probably be the final addition to this mod for a while, as work on the Medewi revamp and another project will be taking place.
