The use of sightlines in this is really clever. I appreciate the use of the inset laser sensors to prevent cheese.

That is great news! Looking forward to it & wishlisted :-)

@SpielSatzFail Thanks a lot! If I ever have another idea close to this concept I will definitely make a part 3. Also, I've made a bunch of similar puzzles for the Portal 2 mod Aperture: Salt Mines, which is still in development at the moment. You can check out our Discord server here [discord.gg] and our Steam store page here. Once that is done, I'll release a collection with more than 20 puzzles I made for that mod, which are unlisted at the moment, so you can look forward to that! I might even have another big project coming up soon... :p2cube:

The first one was good, this one is awesome! Thumbs up. Nice portal management map that requires some imagination. Too bad the series doesn't continue :-(

@Leo Yeah, the general theme of this mappack is more blocking lasers with cubes in general , where the first part focuses on the advantages you get out of it and the second part more on the difficulties it causes and how to work around them. Glad you enjoyed it! :p2cube:

Neat little puzzle once more! The predominant theme in Part 1 actually wasn't all that much used in this one, which surprised me a bit. But I enjoyed it nonetheless, good one!

nice

Nice map; a bit more thought required than part 1 but still pretty easy. Very elegant solution. Thumbs up.

Nice puzzle - good example of some classic laser-funnel shuffling.

@Cortexcyan Thanks for replaying! I hope you liked the intended solution as well. :p2cube:
Cortexcyan 9 Nov, 2021 @ 8:40am
Yes - I have solved it without using my "hack" ! :steamhappy::steamthumbsup:
Cortexcyan 8 Nov, 2021 @ 2:32pm
I found another way to skin that cat! Thank you @TheCompanionCubeGuy , I'll see if I can find the correct method:steamthumbsup::steamthumbsup:
mikatastrophe  [author] 8 Nov, 2021 @ 1:15pm
@Cortexcyan I think I know what you're referring to, if you used that as the solution that's actually not intended, but when I was playtesting I figured it's so obscure and you have to be so precise to actually execute it that basically nobody was gonna solve it that way. I guess congrats on pulling it off! If you want to experience the puzzle like I intended, I would appreciate it if you replayed it without using that unintended step. Thanks for playing and letting me know! :p2cube:
Cortexcyan 8 Nov, 2021 @ 12:47pm
Excellent puzzle! Took me a while to figure out that put the cube as close to the fizzler as poss so you can delicately pluck it from the other side Thank you for creating:steamthumbsup::steamhappy::steamthumbsup:

This is THE hardest test chamber I've ever encountered. Took me hours. Good job.
Andy T 7 Nov, 2021 @ 1:55am
Myself overthunk it, I thought it has two twist moves, but the map is quite straight forward with only one portal shuffling nice one.
Narkodes 4 Nov, 2021 @ 4:50am
Well done, thanks for creating!

@Brodyquester Nicely done, great that you didn't give up! I'm glad you liked it. :p2cube:

@DeathWish808 Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Honestly I'm surprised part 1 made it onto the front page in the first place, but I'm not complaining. Also thanks for recording your playthrough, if you're fine with that I'm gonna add it to the description like I did with Hugo's.
Brodyquester 3 Nov, 2021 @ 3:07pm
20 minutes later i finally beat it, it was amazing, hard and super precise, didn't actually thought the solution was that, it took so long to crack, enjoyed it to the end! amazing map
Brodyquester 3 Nov, 2021 @ 2:45pm
Been an hour on this, never played a chamber as hard as this one, will update when i clear it

I came across the first one while doing Quick Play>Most Popular. I enjoyed it especially since most front page maps are garbage. Then this one popped up so I decided to add it to my queue and record my Blind Run.
Simple, eloquent, and clever. Nice layout and easy to see everything. Well done! and faved.

@bullfrog Yep, all intended. Thanks for playing and I'm glad you liked it! :p2cube:

Хорошая карта! :okey:
mikatastrophe  [author] 31 Oct, 2021 @ 3:48am
@Libbybapa I removed the portal surface that was causing your original, unintended, solution to happen. Thanks for letting me know! :p2cube:
jandlml 30 Oct, 2021 @ 10:51pm
great map! :steamhappy:
Libbybapa 30 Oct, 2021 @ 9:51pm
I went back and found what I assume is the intended solution. That's even better. Cheers.
Libbybapa 30 Oct, 2021 @ 9:31pm
I enjoyed this one also although the fact that I never used the platform by the exit and the relative lack of use of the funnel has me suspicious. Blind run: https://youtu.be/wQExbVUdoQA
Dark Rozen 30 Oct, 2021 @ 3:51pm
Very creative use of space.
mikatastrophe  [author] 30 Oct, 2021 @ 3:11pm
@SteemStream Glad you enjoyed it! If you're talking about the part that I think you're talking about, SOLUTION SPOILERS: moving back and forth with the funnel to keep a portal on the other side, then funnelling the cube off into the goo , that was the idea this map was designed around originally. The ending sequence was added afterwards to add reuse to the redirection cube. :p2cube:
SteemStream 30 Oct, 2021 @ 3:05pm
Very clever little map, especially liked the beginning :)
