I am having trouble making the CIWS actually fire. The rotary guns will track targets and (the barrels) spin, but won't actually shoot.

is it possible to make it so the CIWS wont fire if they're being obstructed (I.E by a crane or the superstructure)?

Ive made a remodel of your boat adding a bertha cannon with automatic pitch and tilt controll so that I can hit a target from 3km easy and a whole ton of other features making mine into an ideal warship but recently the boiler has started to blow up because it always reaches above 10 psi idk how to vent it or fix this issue I have about 70hours into the ship so far but im now stuck because of i don't know anything about boilers. You think you could help me

Enough, I think in the future to make ballast chambers so that the icebreaker leans with its nose on the ice floes.

This would seem like a cool ship if the STUPID nuclear generators quit blowing up, it says way to much pressure build up and there is no way to vent it, its irratating as hell

First you need to wait until the reactor warms up and the generator starts to work, then use the clutch lever in the wheelhouse to move.

It would be a hell of a lot more useful if you could spawn rotors in already folded up, because you can fit at least 3 of those assault drones in the back. The ones made by Lorgs.

I have been modifying it myself. I put 8 marino torpedoes with the guidance/targeting system (4 fixed tube launchers on each side where the existing torpedo hatches were) I removed the cranes because they kept damaging the craft and causing lag and I never used them. And I replaced the main cannon with one that is radar guided and automatic. And I moved all weapon controls to the bridge. So as a single player it's very effective and fun to use. That's just what I did and I won't re-upload it. Also I fixed the problem with it leaning over too much by removing a lot of weight from the rear ballast block with the batteries on it.

If you used some of the more advanced torpedo systems that allow you to select a radar or sonar target on a map, I think that would be really fun. The AI already does not stand a chance with this thing. I've used it a lot already.

Apparently the creator of the torpedoes fixed the problem with them nose diving as soon as they are released, so that was an actual issue. So that is something you might actually want to know.

If there was some way to control the sensitivity of the main gun aiming, it could be more effective at longer ranges. Also the only other thing i would change is having fixed torpedo tubes on the sides instead of the swivel launcher, and it seems like the torpedoes like to go really deep so they don't work in the shallow areas like the islands where the AI likes to hangout.

12 anti-ship missiles=12 enemy war ships destroyed. And the targeting system doesn't leave you guessing where the missile is going to end up. very very nice.
