Thanks for the answer. I found some poles in the camp, but only the models, the auto recognition didn't play. Maybe the issue is with the 41th version of UB, I read some complaints about item activation.

The poles should be found automatically when you just get close to a stack of logs in the camp. Unfortunately I was not able to put some sparkling effect or so on this log pile.
If you have finished all quests in the camp, the doors will open
The lizards are similar to the poles, you can not find them by the usual glowing sign, they will pop up automatically when you search the map in the north of the Dimwood start camp. I did not want to solve this quests by this "get an item" thing, but I fould also no solution to put another grapical indicator on the map which shows only up when the quest is triggered.

Thank you Zoli, I appreciate your feedback. And I agree, some parts of the campaign could be worked out in a better way. They were first time created, when the DM tool did not offer all options as it has today. I tried to repair some things, but in the end it became only a patchwork. I know, there are also bugs in some parts, which came up when the DM tool was updated (mostly graphically). For this reason, I have decided better wot work on a remastered version of this campaign then trying to fix this old one. It is only real life delaying this work.

I don't really need answers, I had my fun to this point anyway. Dungeon crawling is not my genre, but I enjoyed yours. I also liked the amount of magic items.
I would properly name the breastplate of Argon, not just a +1 breastplate.

I have mixed feelings about this campaign. I liked some elements, especially the dungeons, but other aspects are very rough.
-For example, there was a hint to ask Thonia or something for help, I think she is in the inn, but everyone has a "guest" nameplate, so how would I know who to ask? At least those who have lines should have names. That includes Milo, he should have a proper name. On the other hand, sometimes this is good, like when we fight a certain important mage. We don't know their name, so it's better if their nameplate is simple.
-The poles for the camp are nowhere to be found. This is just a nonsense quest anyway.
-Finding lizards is a similar case. I fought the spiders a long time ago, I checked some places, I don't see the usual glowing sign of interaction. It's not fun to spend more time looking.
-There is a quest in the camp to search the northern regions, but the gates are closed. This must be a bug.

Look out for log piles in the camp. If you get close to one, you will trigger the quest milestone automatically. The doors open later after finishing some quests.

I'm having issues with the Set Up the Camp questline. (1) Where are the poles? Cannot find them anywhere on the map or nearby maps. (2) Investigate orc activities in the north; both doors are locked and cannot be opened. Any ideas?

Hi charles, thanks for playing. Do you have the "iron key" or the "old iron key"? You need the latter one. And the door is not opened by a blood ruby but a more shadowy one. The iron key is used in the Vaults.

Hey, I'm stuck at Watcher Death Camp pt2. One door is rusty iron, but my Iron Key does not seem to work. The other wants a ruby but my Blood Ruby doesn't work. What do I need to get in these doors? And what does the Iron Key open?

Hi wolfenring, I have not used any mods or something else. So all was only developed by the plain DM tool in the game. If there are any errors then only related to older DM tool versions. But nothing has been reported up to know. As I don't have Xbox, I had not any chance to test.

Hi jayman, when you have played all areas then you have reached a stopping point at the moment. My idea is to develop this campaign further from time to time with new content by new updates. So it will be some kind of continued story. It is up to you if you take out your chars into another mod or if you want to park them until I have added something new. But I must admit, that at the moment I am waiting for the new DLC and DM to add more content. I don't want to create just another similar looking cave like the existing ones and hope for more complex storybuilding possibilites with the new tool.

Hi Captain Awesome, starting levels are 1 or 2 at the moment. But to be honest, I am thinking about to open this limitation up to higher levels. The intention of this campaign is not to be designed as a linear storyline, but a number of different only loosely connected adventures. The lore of the area is what keeps them connected. So at the moment you will find encounters designed starting from level 1 up to 9 or 10. But in the end it is up to you when you want to step out. If you say, I just want to run content up to level 4 or 5 and then get my characters out into another mod, this could be also possible.It is a little bit the mindset to write your own story with you toons not only limited to one campaign.

Do you use mods? After some dicussion I had, it could happen that mods might alter the inventory behaviour, that they don't work properly. Otherwise you found a very seldom bug in the game, I guess. Also with doublechecking by other players, there were no known issue yet.

Ok, my mistake, actually I can't open the doors in the NW corner of the elemental's chamber I've confirmed that the the character has a blood ruby in inventory, but the door still won't open

These doors don't open by the rubies. Look for pressure plates and other mechanisms

Doors I can't open are the one at the area exit, and the other one just north/east of it by the rest area

It is just a guess, from my side: perhaps the toon who wants to open the door must have the rubies in his own inventory or he has to have only 1 ruby in his inventory. It is the door in the most north west corner of the big room with the fire elemental encounter. If this does not work, it really sounds like a bug in the game I can not influence. When I have tried it, I had no trouble and I think also some other players have passed through this door.

Hi Corey, if these are the 1000 gold worth rubies and you have found them by digging for example, it should work. I have checked it and had no problems. If it does not work on your side, atm I have no ideas.

Yes the dig sites should glow with the alt key. Now with the update you could find the key in another dungeon in this campaign. Keep it as it is atm and come back later when you got it. Hint: rubies are the key.

Well, thanks again, but I have interacted with "fresh digging" locations and the spots near them, and the doors dont open. The actual spot where I should dig should highlight when I hold the alt key right? Like the "examine this object" glowing highlight? I hit them a while back, but I must have failed the rolls and now I'm at a dead end...

If you go a few paces more north west from the spot where the message appears, there should be the possibitly. If you have tried there once, it could have been failed and the possibility is gone. But there are more then only one digging site in this map. But the spot where you can dig is always a few paces around the spot where the message appears. So you have to search a bit.

Thank you. I'm really enjoying this adventure. I have reloaded, and chosen to start "from disk" to open the new version. Still no luck. There is a spot a ways awy from the door when I can examine an object and it says "You enter a fresh digging site." No matter how many times I try it, it stays avaialble to examine, but nothing else seems to happen. I don't see anything near the door, certainly nothign that "lights up" on hotkey. I don't think I have anything else to go do, but I'll look. This is a fun run and I apprceciate your effort. Thanks.

The areas where you can do the skill check for digging are in the vicinity where the text appears. Search close to the area around. There are 3 areas on the map where you can try. When you fail for 3 times atm, you can not open the door. I will fix this in an update. Atm I recommend to save before the tries (or to keep things considered as unsolved within this run).

I seem to be in the same boat. I have a pretty balance party, Paladin, Cleric, Rogue. I have 4 doors that say Door cannot be opened. I'm near the door wher eI got the popup saying the tunnels are old but digging looks fresh. I see no place to dig. Am I boned?

Thanks for the response. I was afraid it was something like that. I must have failed all the dig skill checks despite having a balanced party. I''ll have to continue the campaign using a save from before I explored the whole area. You might want to change this so that there is certainty of finding the key (or whatever is supposed to happen) rather than having the entire campaign depend on a few dice rolls even if the probability of failure is extremely small. If thousands of people play your otherwise excellent campaign, and if enough of them like me accept failure as part of the game, then others are likely to have the same problem.

Hi Emphyrio, there are some areas to dig. It is still a skill check, but if your party is not too unbalanced it should work. When the first door is open, the other ones will follwow.

I'm enjoying it quite a lot. I like how there are so few magic items - my party is level 5 and found 2 longsword+1 and one shortbow+1 - and I think this is the first time I ever didn't have enough gold to scribe a level 2 scroll (previously I hadn't realized it even cost gold). But, I'm stuck in the dwarven mines where there are 4 locked doors I haven't been able to figure out how to open and the transition to the next area is behind 2 of them so I can't continue. I've walked all around the area a few times without finding anything new. I'd appreciate a hint so I can continue the adventure. Thanks!
