@TK_Over50
IIRC the past me thought that the mod should be enabled all the time, no one would ever want to disable it so there was no Disable chat command.

The present me agrees with you: It makes no sense having an Enable command without a Disable command. I will add it later.

I love this mod and really want to take advantage of it but sometimes I don't really need it. it is my understanding that you must disable it from the config menu but enable it from the config menu or command line. Why not a command line disable? I just want to be clear on this because I would use the chat line disable.

It's been over a month, but texthud/F2 has been working throughout for me. also rich hud master's F1. Perhaps RedPine wasn't hitting enter to bring chat up first?
SK  [author] 20 Apr, 2022 @ 7:02pm
If other mods can still use F2 then this mod should be able to use F2 as well, since it is a feature from Text HUD API mod.
Also I have just tested in one of my playing save and it still work pretty fine...
RedPine 20 Apr, 2022 @ 9:22am
F2 doesn't work anymore, you have to find the config in the world folder. A few other mods can use F2, but an update must have broken this mods F2 settings.
SK  [author] 9 Feb, 2022 @ 2:54am
Unless they are broken, every config in config file can be set using Mod Setting menu (a.k.a Text HUD API's F2 panel).
Mulder 7 Feb, 2022 @ 10:50am
Any chance of getting the ability to change the HUD panel position via the TextHUD API F2 panel?

If so then don't worry, this mod only display enemy signals. If you see any friendly or neutral ship's name on the list, that is definitely a bug :)
Unruly 2 Dec, 2021 @ 5:38pm
I meant some npc's are friendly, or at least neutral. I'm not as interested in detecting them. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to come across as demanding things. This mod is free, and you've even fixed bugs in less than an hour: you're awesome.
SK  [author] 2 Dec, 2021 @ 5:18pm
What do you mean by "pick out and colour by reputation"?
This mod's purpose is to add a quick notification for enemy approaching while you are unintended (e.g remote controlling, checking inventory...), so it only display enemy signals.
If you mean displaying friendly signals, that's redundant since friendly signal is always relayed to your HUD. Still I can add an option to config file if you really want though.
If you just want to change the color of the text (or exactly, to be able to pick the text color), then don't worry, this is on the to-do list already :)
Unruly 2 Dec, 2021 @ 5:04pm
Is there any way for you to simply pick out and colour by reputation? ie, Friendly ships pop up red on pantenna.
Unruly 2 Dec, 2021 @ 4:45pm
Thanks, no longer on my own radar! ;P
SK  [author] 2 Dec, 2021 @ 4:38pm
I missed a return statement that caused the whole chain of failed notification to show up.
About owned signals are showing up, I also missed a few check during cleanup (this is known issue btw :P)

Fixed!

Also, Patenna tells me it has saved the confg, and at the same time "Pantenna Unknown Command 'SaveCfg'" *and* sometimes (briefly) "Pantenna command execution failed. See log for more info." The cfg is being saved properly each time.
Unruly 2 Dec, 2021 @ 3:24pm
Thank you for the mod, incidentally. ;P
Unruly 2 Dec, 2021 @ 3:18pm
Today's version is showing my own signals now? When it does, it's showing me the block name instead of the friendly hud text string antennas have.
SK  [author] 30 Nov, 2021 @ 3:16pm
This is a mod, not a plugin. And I don't think it needs to be a plugin due to its simplicity.

@poop gamer: Yep, because those commands don't exist in current version. The guide are for version 1.3 onward.
I have done all implementation, but don't have time to test so I can't push it just yet.
Flinton Steele 30 Nov, 2021 @ 2:49pm
I can't get any of the ingame chat commands to work other than the ReloadCfg. For instance /Pantenna ShowPanel=false prompts this: Pantenna Unknown Command ShowPanel=false
singleton30 29 Nov, 2021 @ 2:25pm
Can I put it into a game's modlist and have it still work or does it need extra fiddling?
singleton30 29 Nov, 2021 @ 2:16pm
so is this a plugin or an actual mod...?
Blu 27 Nov, 2021 @ 7:25am
Any chance to add this to Plugin Manager?
SourceStick 27 Nov, 2021 @ 5:05am
5 Hot enemy signals near your character 😳

(sorry)
RogueCmdr 26 Nov, 2021 @ 4:24pm
just realized where the reposition setting was in the description. DOH!
RogueCmdr 26 Nov, 2021 @ 4:20pm
I play in 1440.. is there any way to move the window into the upper right corner , its very center right half of the screen in the view also resizeability via chat commands be great
Bluestar 26 Nov, 2021 @ 6:02am
Ideally this would look best about half the scale and moved to the edge of the screen with the box toggled of, so it appears a a threat notification list off to one side and a small and unobtrusive scale
SK  [author] 24 Nov, 2021 @ 7:27am
@Morghdred: Yes, if attacker approaches with antenna off then it won't show up on the radar. Basically is only display what shows up on your normal HUD.

@Typhon Plume: Note that the panel background opacity follows HUD Opacity, however if you still need to hide the panel background, I'll add that in the next update.
Typhon Plume 22 Nov, 2021 @ 12:49pm
Is the ability to make the box disappear, but keep the icons available in the xml? Cause to me that seems rather annoying.
Morghdred 19 Nov, 2021 @ 2:52pm
I assume by the way this described, this mod uses antenna to show closest enemy entity? So assuming if attacker approaches with antenna off would technically make this radar blind?
SK  [author] 19 Nov, 2021 @ 6:20am
@Arstan Yes, that's the intention.
Sometimes when you are too focus on terminal, you will not be able to see any approaching signals. And sometimes when you are controlling a remote vehicle 1kkm away, you wouldn't be able to tell which enemy signal are threatening, which are just fly-by (they are all shown as 1kkm).
Basically an early-warning system without the "warning" part :)
Arstan 19 Nov, 2021 @ 4:15am
This is awesome. If I am understanding it correctly, even when you are 1kkm looking through mars rover camera, this will still broadcast these signals to your HUD? No longer blind to your relative position when working through remotes, etc?
