@Crimson Don't worry, I didn't really specify when I planned to update, so you read right
I don't really know why so many complain about beds not appeating in architect. I play the game regularly with my own mod, and I can always see them in the furniture tab, zero issues. Please remember:
- It needs BOTH research prerequisites.
- Sorting mods (like ferny's) may hide it, and I have no control over them.
Step 1: Get the homeless elder in a medpod.
Step 2: Feed the homeless elder lavishly.
Step 3: Repair the elderly clothes on the repair bed, then paint them.
Step 4: Do a beauty upgrading surgery, implant aesthetic skin and nose.
Step 5: Paint the clothes, hair. Also make a good haircut.
Role Model Done!
No, but actually, it's a great mod for an advanced spacer pirate run.
I may in the future make this code-driven, instead of requiring an additional patch, but I have to learn more.
I've been working in more mods lately and learned already how to make mod configuration windows. I'll expose the repair rates there so everyone can tweak these to their heart.
One suggestion: It'd be nice if there was an option to configure the repair rate ourselves. The beds fall out of their usefulness in the mid-late/ late game, where you are hit with harder, more frequent raids and/or have super soldiers who barely sleep enough. I think many of us use this mod mainly for less micro-management, so the option to increase the repair rate (or maybe just have another even more expensive bed) is much needed :)
Also left a message on the other mod for double change of getting spotted.
thank you
@HerrLila The same as above.
That's why I decided I won't update this mod further, it's just a mod I made for myself and some years ago decided I could share with others. I think it's better for it to remain simple and do only maintenance work on it, otherwise it would be very a overwhelming work.
Code-wise, this mod is just a spacer bed with extended functionality, if that bed works, this one must work too.
