lmgginspace  [author] 11 Jul @ 10:29am
It should work now with 1.6. I don't think it should have any issue, but if it isn't the case, send me a comment.
@Crimson Don't worry, I didn't really specify when I planned to update, so you read right
Crimson 30 Jun @ 11:52am
Ah okay. I didn't read it right.
lmgginspace  [author] 30 Jun @ 8:59am
No, didn't forget anything, I plan to compile the 1.6 version when it's not considered unstable, so probably on Odyssey's launch.
Crimson 29 Jun @ 9:46pm
Did you forget to add the 1.6 tag or am I not reading your message right?
lmgginspace  [author] 14 Jun @ 4:36am
Updated, as stated in the change log, the Vanilla Expanded team has removed the "Good rest" hediff from their advenced beds, so the repair beds also do not apply it anymore.
lmgginspace  [author] 14 Jun @ 1:31am
I've just noticed vanilla expanded furniture spacer has been updated, out of a sudden! So it should be easy to fix, just recompiling this mod with the new spacer dll should do. Expect a fix soon.
lmgginspace  [author] 13 Jun @ 4:27am
I'm checking it soon, when I have time. Have to compile it for 1.6 soon anyway.

I don't really know why so many complain about beds not appeating in architect. I play the game regularly with my own mod, and I can always see them in the furniture tab, zero issues. Please remember:
- It needs BOTH research prerequisites.
- Sorting mods (like ferny's) may hide it, and I have no control over them.
Mismagius 12 Jun @ 3:08pm
doesn't work anymore, and it throws a bunch of errors when a pawn sleeps on these beds because the hediff was removed
Duncan Idablow 6 Mar @ 9:02am
I'm having the same issue, not seeing the beds on the build menu, but I dont use that mod
homeworld 27 Feb @ 7:41pm
Using the power of READING, Kevin_Clift gave me the idea to disable ferny's Progression: Aesthetics mod which incorporates "Fuck Ext. Furniture". Problem solved. Thank you Kevin.
homeworld 27 Feb @ 5:02pm
I'm also not seeing the beds appear in any build category. They can be spawned in dev mode fine but they just don't exist in the menu for me no matter what I try. I do have a rather... extensive mod list though so maybe it's some strange conflict.
Miha_metan 18 Feb @ 12:00am
homeless elder to role model recipe:

Step 1: Get the homeless elder in a medpod.
Step 2: Feed the homeless elder lavishly.
Step 3: Repair the elderly clothes on the repair bed, then paint them.
Step 4: Do a beauty upgrading surgery, implant aesthetic skin and nose.
Step 5: Paint the clothes, hair. Also make a good haircut.

Role Model Done!
No, but actually, it's a great mod for an advanced spacer pirate run.
lmgginspace  [author] 18 Oct, 2024 @ 3:22am
You can try subscribing to the other mod and copy the patches into this one. I totally understand, as I also like a lot to have a compact mod list, but the royal requirements are too subjective to include in this mod.
I may in the future make this code-driven, instead of requiring an additional patch, but I have to learn more.
Quilava 17 Oct, 2024 @ 8:03am
I love the mod so much, but ... can you update this mod to satisfy royal require without the add-on mod? Just trying to keep the mod list as compact as i can so it wont take 10 minute to load :sad_seagull:
lmgginspace  [author] 5 Oct, 2024 @ 10:12am
Either you don't have the two research prerequisites or another mod hides it
Retsu 4 Oct, 2024 @ 11:39pm
Nowhere to be found in either regular or ext. furniture list even when searching for it.
Hotaninja05 25 Aug, 2024 @ 4:28pm
The beds don't repair my colonists clothes :/ had my colony sleeping in them for About 2 years in game and now I had a look and they all have extremely ratty apparel. Why is this?
Power of Nature 19 Aug, 2024 @ 3:22pm
Thanks man! This mod's never gonna leave my modlist now :D
lmgginspace  [author] 19 Aug, 2024 @ 7:13am
@Power of Nature Done, the repair intervals are now customizable :)
Kevin_Clift 14 Aug, 2024 @ 9:15pm
THE MOD Fuck Ext. Furniture WILL HIDE THE BED FROM YOU :steammocking:
Power of Nature 14 Aug, 2024 @ 6:05am
That'd be much appreciated :D
lmgginspace  [author] 13 Aug, 2024 @ 11:34pm
Ok, I'll take that into account :)
I've been working in more mods lately and learned already how to make mod configuration windows. I'll expose the repair rates there so everyone can tweak these to their heart.
Power of Nature 13 Aug, 2024 @ 4:36pm
Love this mod!
One suggestion: It'd be nice if there was an option to configure the repair rate ourselves. The beds fall out of their usefulness in the mid-late/ late game, where you are hit with harder, more frequent raids and/or have super soldiers who barely sleep enough. I think many of us use this mod mainly for less micro-management, so the option to increase the repair rate (or maybe just have another even more expensive bed) is much needed :)
NuanKi 20 Jul, 2024 @ 1:49pm
looks nice, but none of my pawns sleep :c, maybe for next run
puggy 8 Apr, 2024 @ 1:36pm
this idea itself is spacer level tech great job lol fun idea
lmgginspace  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 10:20am
Updated for the upcoming 1.5 version of the game. Could not test until the Vanilla Expanded mods update as well, but I think this mod will work by that time.
DevilDog 14 Feb, 2024 @ 6:33am
which is the other one ? because for me they are both researched together
lmgginspace  [author] 14 Feb, 2024 @ 2:33am
It needs both research projects to be done (the one for adv. bed, and the one for repair shelf). I noticed it's a common oversight, maybe that's all in your case too.
DevilDog 13 Feb, 2024 @ 8:43am
It just doesnt show up after researching it
Dizarus 27 Jan, 2023 @ 8:08pm
The illuminated end table and illuminated dresser are not counted, could you add those to the patch mod as well?
Also left a message on the other mod for double change of getting spotted.
thank you
pedroekh 18 Jan, 2023 @ 6:17am
@D.Bluemond, Get the "RIMMSqol" Mod. It's fantastic. Lets you change almost anything, recipes, edit items stats, research, even the character traits and building properties, and a LOT more. Here --> https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1084452457&searchtext=weapon+ce
lmgginspace  [author] 10 Jan, 2023 @ 1:42am
@D.Bluemond Maybe, but I'm a very novice modder, I don't know how to program even a mod settings window.
@HerrLila The same as above.
That's why I decided I won't update this mod further, it's just a mod I made for myself and some years ago decided I could share with others. I think it's better for it to remain simple and do only maintenance work on it, otherwise it would be very a overwhelming work.
D.Bluemond 8 Jan, 2023 @ 5:40pm
is it possible to somehow change the number of necessary components?
H4RDPWN3R 19 Dec, 2022 @ 9:33am
@Kitiana Foxtail @Ogamaga I had the same issue as you, I deleted the "Assemblies" folder inside the main mod folder and that seemed to fix it.
HerrLila 30 Oct, 2022 @ 7:57am
Possible to add repair functionality to the deathrest caskets?
lmgginspace  [author] 27 Oct, 2022 @ 12:09am
That seems like a good idea, if you end up finding out this mod is the one with the issue, I'll be glad to fix it then. As I said, with the provided info so far, I don't know...
Kitiana Foxtail 26 Oct, 2022 @ 11:55am
Interesting! How fast does it repair gear? Later I will try just installing the air basics and requirements to see if it's having any problems then slowly add other mods. To see what is having a conflict for the bed being there. Cause when I remove the mod, not errors. So something on that list of mods does not want to work with Bed Repair. Or there is a load order issue. Not sure. It is strange. Thanks for the reply.
lmgginspace  [author] 26 Oct, 2022 @ 10:20am
As for the issue. I have no idea, when 1.3 was still around, I could play the game with almost 300 mods (I share a lot of shown mods) without any issue at all. And what shows up in the log doesn't even have anything to do with my mod, so I can't figure it out.
Code-wise, this mod is just a spacer bed with extended functionality, if that bed works, this one must work too.
lmgginspace  [author] 26 Oct, 2022 @ 10:16am
@CheeseWheelGuy Thanks a lot for your kind words :)
Ogamaga 26 Oct, 2022 @ 9:22am
I have the same issue as Kitiana
Kitiana Foxtail 25 Oct, 2022 @ 3:38pm
Ok, get a HUGE list of errors when loading this. Most errors deal with health issues or operations for some reason. I have it placed right after VFE-Spacer. Here are links to 3 pics of the list of mods I have (not many yet) as well a small screen of the errors that show up. I also tested to see if the Royalty expansion was the cause. It was not. This mod seemed like a great idea, but it never worked for me.

VelxraTV 23 Oct, 2022 @ 10:30am
Thank you!
lmgginspace  [author] 23 Oct, 2022 @ 8:45am
Updated.
VelxraTV 21 Oct, 2022 @ 3:29pm
Please update to 1.4
Smew 1 Aug, 2022 @ 2:04am
@kokorocodon and @matt_petram just got through having this issue, turns out all I needed to do was research Spacer Furniture and then the beds showed up in the Ext. Furniture category, which was weird, because searching for them showed that they were there beforehand despite being invisible, but nonetheless after researching they are there, hope this helps!
TrueMind 29 Jul, 2022 @ 2:16pm
Has anyone made a polyamory bed patch/version for this?
Chickenwraap 18 Jun, 2022 @ 11:52am
@kokorocodon Im having the same issue not finding the bed in the furniture tab, were you able to solve your issue? i can find the repair shelf but not the beds
Kokorocodon 29 May, 2022 @ 12:37am
hmm not finding it... even tough it says it's on the furniture tab
CheeseWheelGuy 1 May, 2022 @ 12:43am
i've been using this mod for a while now, and i only just realized how ridiculously helpful it is. simply removing the need to micromanage clothing is just remarkably convienent. thanks for this QoL mod that makes the quality of my life just that much better.
