The game didn't work right away for me. But doing this it does work fine:

Start a Game. Save. Import that Save. Then the Mod works, but only buy one slave at a time.

Hm, odd Question perhaps, but would it be possible to do a variation that works for those you break out instead of those you buy, since you mention they use similar but not identical scripts?

For roleplay purposes, it feels perhaps like actually taking the risk of breaking them out should be the certain way to get loyalty from those enslaved.

Just a thought.

I will if nobody else has by the time I pick Kenshi back up. Right now I'm just in support mode cause I've drifted away from the game and more toward other projects, including learning to code and create meshes.

sometimes working, sometimes not. i dont know why

If you can figure out how to reproduce I can try to fix it. There's also a pretty good likelihood that if you have other dialogue mods installed, they're interfering with one another. By the nature of how this mod works, it will need to be loaded after any other dialogue mods.

Getting technical, if any of your other mods in any way modify the same personality types mine did, it will overwrite my changes with theirs, or with the defaults if they left the lines I changed alone. It's unfortunately unavoidable with how the FCS is structured.

Hi all,

The old file was broken and didn't behave correctly when I tried to update. I think the FCS update broke it, so I reworked it from the ground up. Tried to address a few of the issues brought up in the comments.

I backed up the old release, so please tell me if this one doesn't work right, I will revert while I dig into what happened.

Nice mod.
+ chance to recruit bought slaves is MUCH higher than without the mod but NOT 100%
* yea, slaves you got into slavery are not happy if you free them
* does not work on cannibals since no slave trader wants to get them in a cage themselfe
- with this mod I can't sell guys im carrying (have to turn the mod off for selling)

@Javes It does so long as they have vanilla AI packages assigned to them. If the mod author wrote custom AI packages, then no

Does this work with npcs and races added by mods?

thanks man, i was testing a bunch of slave hiring mods and every other mod either change too much or is outdated, this one worked like a charm :D

I'm a newb to this game and the other day I paid for & freed a slave and was wondering why he just ditched me lol was hoping he'd join up. This will do nicely :p

@Savaj buying/freeing slaves grants you a bit of positive opinion for the faction of the person you bought, plus a small about to the slaver. It's a way to buy favor. That's often why I free slaves the legal way. Just a tip. BTW thanks for this mod. Hope it works with all my other mods :beeped:

Nice. I didn't really get it before. There is a shop selling slaves. I buy one. It runs away? Why did I spend money? Although, ideally I would have preferred they make their choice of staying with you being based on you removing their shackles first. Until then they are stuck with it but I have a slave that can barely move and needs supervision.

Good job.

@Redarmy Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy it!

Gevurah: I don't think it does, but there may be some cases where the developer assigned "bought me" behaviors to "freed me" interactions since they're almost identical. I intentionally avoided going beyond the scope of purchasing slaves though, to avoid as many conflicts as I could

Good idea. Does this affect slaves you break out of jail in any ways?
