are you sure that you don't have any mod conflicts?
did you check your game directory to see if you manually installed any voice mods?

These are linux shell scripts that compresses the voice lines to fit the game's default audiocache
cor.sh decides wether the file should be extended or shortened and appropriately processes them
fix.sh decides the sampling rate of the file and appropriately processes them
and proc.sh just calls both of them
these are obviously mean't for private uses as i really didn't bother with proper naming conventions or documentation
but feel free to ask me for a more detailed explanation
Actually i did use that for extracting vpks for the L4D:AC vo files.
