Just for clarity, do cities not add at to your domain limit until they are upgraded to level 3 or do they count and simply double at level 3?

Not compatible with version 1.16. You are told that cities are not the right type of ownership.

@Solutos Lupus unfortunately, that would require its own specific compatch. It wouldn't have the demense penalty, but I believeThe Kings' Cities should be compatible with its COW compatch would work

@Kralqeikozkaptan it looks like my compatch for CoW2 (which hasn't been updated for 2 years so I doubt anyone uses it)) also works for CoW3, so I will update that description

Correction:
Mode doesn't work for EK2 at all...after a while of controling the city game will give me game over screen.

I wonder, will there be a compatibility patch with Elder Kings 2 mod? It seems that CoK doesn't work fully with EK2. Game keeps telling me that I have wrong holding type, but it no longer convert my king to mair when I move my Realm Capital to city.

Thanks for letting me know. I think I fixed it; I don't have Legacy of Persia so I'm not sure what features I'm missing, but I can at least access the clan unity menu

no, there is still bug, doesnot fit the new dlc about the succession of the clan system. The utility of a clan house is removed when using this mod, maybe the .txt needs to revise

Tried using it with the GOT mod and it crashes every single time. I don't know whether there's conflicting files or restrictions etc, or it's just my PC. Great mod though, works without GOT.

@Acci I have gotten around to making a Res Publica compatch, check the link I have included in the description.
I don't normally play with Res Publica, so I'm unaware if this change has made any deeper impacts, so please let me know if there are any issues.

I have been unable to replicate your issue locally, so I'm not sure the source of your issue. I have re-uploaded my version to the workshop, and hope this addresses your problem.
If you are still having the issue, please double check what other mods you are running and if there's any conflicts

If you are using Cities of Wonder 3 (my mod) that uses COW2 as baseline, but is actively being developed for new features and streamlined play, then I already have a Cities of Kings compatch.

It can be if you load City of Wonders after CoK, and edit its common/government_types to include "valid_holdings = { city_holding }" for each of the government types

Thanks a lot for the MOD. I have a question, I see the AI give some city holding to second and third sons of the county owner... sometimes even the heir is given a city. Problem comes when he is not able to marry while being a mayor, so it's easy to end dinasties this way. Any idea to solve this issue?

I know very few people will play beyond 1200, but tier 3 city holdings -1 demesne is superfluous, because it's not balanced at all, I can deliberately not upgrade the city, but the AI will.
In the end my number of demesne is still far better than AI.

@CaliBlueBear it shouldn't be, it still has the ### FP2 Iberian ### tag in the city_buildings file. It was having some localization issues with the new buildings, which i've just now updated

Good catch, I didn't realize the Royal Court updates was through 00_government_types. I've updated the mod with this fix
