When I saw this mod I knew if done right this guy can cook harder than Gordon Ramsey. And boy am I happy. I have made my friends cry using this character. The amount of times I have trolled them with the rewind gimmick makes me happy.

Katana Zero is one of my favorite games of all time, so this character is wonderful! Represents the game wonderfully. If there's any critiques I have, it's that

A. He is pretty OP, due to how nasty his edgeguarding game is, so maybe nerf both the grounded and aerial sword dashes

B. As someone else has said, it would be more intuitive if, instead of the counter, down special was the rewind ability.

All in all though, this is a fantastic character.

Pros are that this is increadibly coded to play just like he does in his game, but the fact that all of his animation are from game makes him look a little wonky. And he's too strong to really have fun with without my friends complaining about it lol.

I like it!
-Wavedash looks a little goofy, but it's the only part of the spriterip that looks off
-having the down special be a parry feels like a waste, parries kinda suck and it would be a lot more intuitive for the rewind to be tied to it than the taunt
-strong attack charge feels pretty slow, making it charge quicker would feel better (although might be too strong ofc, which is why having it start at max distance would probably be too broken :p)

Following my previous statement, Zero's gimmick just feels well, gimmicky at best and doesn't feel that usable especially since it can't be used midair so you really do have to get on the ground, stop, and then activate it. Awesome concept though, has huge potential for sure and is my favorite workshop character, and character in rivals period.

I love this!!! I'm so happy he's got a full move set. My only advice is maybe make it slightly faster to charge his record and rewind, or slightly slower for it to drain as it seems that i can only get two bars, three if really well played, and they disappear so quickly that by the time you stop to actually use it, your bars are gone.

SURPRISE ! WELCOME TO v1.0 !

After 9 long months, finally I, with the HUGE help of my friend Nito, released version 1.0 of our mod for Rivals.
Nito helped with pretty much everything related to programming, so I give him huge credit.

For personal reasons of the team, we paused the development of the Mod for a while, but we intend to return soon.

I used it a bit and he was a lot of fun and felt really faithful (for the strong attacks i assume you are planning on him using the claymore or something of the likes) good mod!

Actually yes !
The only thing we have to implement now is the strong attack and the Final Smash, finishing that we will release 1.0.0

Any updates made after this will only be corrections or changes requested by you players.
My intention is to always make the character as balanced, smooth and fun to play as possible, so don't worry about giving your opinion about any detail or flaw in the character.

I've been trying it out recently and it seems pretty cool but it seems like this character is far to early in development that I'd honestly say it shouldn't of been put up in it's current state.

For a start majority of moves haven't been implemented, there's still a lot of moves to be put in and many of the animations make the character look off scale and applied in a smoothing filter which looks really off, and the phone seems really annoying and unnecessary, would just be better to have it come with support for the buddy then come with it

Despite these complaints I really do wish to see what comes next from this, would love to help too if I there's anything I could do like rip the assets for you to work with but in it's current state this character could do with a lot of work

Hi ! It's been a while since I've updated anyone on the current status of the project, so I came here to give you some information.

First, no, the project was not abandoned.
Because this is the first ROA mod I work on, I made a lot of mistakes that are now giving me a headache, one of them being the Sprites. Instead of using the directly ripped sprites from the game, I had the brilliant idea to scale them up to make them more "beautiful", but over time this started to bother me a little, and now I've decided that I'm going to change ALL the sprites for the game's originals.

Unfortunately this is going to take some time, considering I'm getting into a phase of my life where I'm pretty busy with things and the time I have free I end up not being in the mood to work on the mod. This doesn't mean that I don't care about the mod, but that sometimes I just want to be lazy and eat junk while watching Unusual Memes.

I plan to soon start putting effort into the mod again like I was struggling at the beginning.

And one last thing. As I said since when I started working on this mod, I don't know how to program, so I needed help to make this mod go well, and I got this help!
A very talented guy named Nito is helping me with the Mod programming and some specific sprites, so I feel obliged to give him credits for being such an amazing person and giving me a hand to make it work.

Look, I like the character, but it seems that something is missing, I'm close to finishing the mod I've been working on for the last few weeks, I'd like to help, it's too soon for me to propose it (I'm not done yet lol) but hey, I like the indi characters with this retro vibe, you know, I hope you are not abandoned.
