Thanks!
The last jump top exit it's suposed to use momentum from both walls (gelified and then fire the forpal twice (to to do the pit and then to exit)
I must say, the physics of blue gel on glass is WEIRD. Like, you can't just stand on it and jump like you can on a normal floor. You actually have to fall from a height before it will activate. I'm guessing this is a fluke in the game physics.
I'm a bit confused on the last jump to the exit. Yes, I did it, but did you really mean for the player to literally "stand" on the angle panel and jump over the railing?
Thanks for playing, but I think that may be bit P2 inexperience, that is not hard to do; but ok; that is the most difficult move in the map. When you got a bit more reflexes this one will be a peace of cake.
It wasn't because I couldn't figure it out. I knew what I needed to do. It was after spending an hour getting halfway through the map because I couldn't get that stupid cube on that stupid button (the one surrounded by the blue gel), I finally got past that part and was so tired that I just gave up.
ugh...
This is an execution map, through and through. It exercises your reflexes and not your mind. I don't consider myself a half-bad flinger (many of my own maps are fling-based) but when you get into what is essentially "cube tossing" with accuracy, I start getting frustrated. Yes, I suck at cube-tossing. I don't practice it because I don't consider it a real "puzzle move".
And so, I am ending this by saying that, good map or bad map, it just wasn't for me.
what to say to that video?
thanks again, and yes the hardes task is getting the cubeion the air; all tssks are independent thought you can make them straight ahead (initial ones).
the middle section (blue gel). This time around, the only difficult part was in the start area.
You said in an earlier comment that press the button/catch the cube/deliver the cube were
seperate tasks but I saw no way to do the last two separately. The hard part was timing
my fling to catch the cube, requiring repeated use of F6/F7 :) Which is strange because I
don't remember having this trouble the first time around.
In any case, an entertaining, satisfying puzzle to solve. Now I'm off to check out the
Hammer version you've just published :)
Well it's not that way! It's very easy! Can't you see where you gonnan get the extra impulse to momentum?
You can reach the pedestal button and press it and even touch the ceiling! This is from portal 1 man! And about 'you don't know the game yet comments', well I'm not from an english spoken citizen country, so sometimes my words could be misunderstood, but where I live and in my language that what we say to others in this situation. Sorry no videos (it had been crashing my P2); this map is for any average P2 player with some basic skills, (and I think it's easy for those players). This map works fine (the most difficult task is getting the cube in flinging). By the way some of the players' comments in here are very good mappers indeed.
I really don't understand what is the difficulty of pressing the cube dropper button!
If you can't press the pedestal button to get the cube than you don't know ho to play portal. By the way, the campagne maps of portal 1 and portal 2 are PEACE OF CAKE compared to some mappers stuff in the community.
Well, I know where are you failing. Yes the white panels and geometry that are there are enough to get height to press the button; each task is independent front the other( press button, catch button, deliver button). You obviously don't know the game yet! The techniwue to get height 8the momentum) is from Portal 1. Some of your perdecessors comments are among the best P2 players available (though I'm not), everything is there to finish it. (A very elegant map indeed, one of my best). Thanks for playing!
In the initial entry area to press the pedestal to get the cube? You must be new in this game. If you don't know how to make it than I can't think on anything to help you.
Well you can throw the cube! It's the intention!
Thanks for give it a try! Well I think you have to review your definition of momentum! It really has enough areas to finish! In what particular area are you refer to? (And have you seen the previews comments?)

Pretty cool and not easy jumping map, particulary I liked the high speed moment:
If you jump at the wrong moment, you have not enough speed (first angeled panel, jump to the
fizzler-button)
Have a look at mine "On the grid"

There you have a vent, conversion gel, cubes, beamer, a lightbridge,...glad about your
comment.
