CAN YOU FIX 182 ?

I would recommend renaming Wang Kuang's duchy to Jin, as the duchy name is usually based on the Warring States or Spring and Autumn state that occupies the current faction's hearthland. If Jin is unavailable, I would suggest Zhao (North of current position), Zheng (South East of current position), or literally anything other than Duchy of Wang.

@simon.main For the follower ancillary like leader of refugees and white horse fellow vanguards not allowing you to recruit the units in their description I think that bug is in the base TROM+MTU+TUP mod.

Plus, assistants like Leader of Refugees and White Horse Fellow Vanguard don’t work. In general, none of them are functioning, and there is no way to recruit the units described in their descriptions.

There are a few issues with this mod.
Specifically, the new factions added by the mod don't have additional buildings.
For example, if you construct a training ground, there's no option to recruit any spearmen or archers. Could you please fix this?

Having a lot of fun with this mod, are there any plans to update it for the MoH start date?

I would love to try touching the start_pos, however, there's not much guide line specific for three kingdom on making new faction here, may I know if you have the list of items need to be included in the Dave?

Hey all - I did a lot of testing and the mod is working again. Please make sure you review the required or recommended mods and use those ONLY when troubleshooting crashes.

I cleaned up the mod description page and created links to steam collections that should make it clear what mods to include and not include.

PSA to everybody who has trouble playing the mod.

DO NOT have TROM 3.9d Pack 1 and TROM 3.9 Pack 2 enabled. You must have both those mods subscribed, but do not enable them in the mod manager.

The rest of the required mod list should be enabled.


My game has been working flawlessly for a year now, if you still have issues starting the game, I will post a mod load order.

Remove TROM 3.9c Pack 1, its' always crashed for me with Pack 1 but works fine without it.

Ok it crashes my game each time on title screen sometimes by scrambling them around i get it but take hours of trial and error, this is my loadout what is wrong

taking Pack 1 out usually made it work but people tell me it should work anyway with it

i have noticed for your 182 issue there is no Gonsun Gan By default he was already a playable character by default although on the 182 area he serves under Liu Yu but yet you cannot select him? could this be your bug that might be causing the crash?

i wish non mainstream warlords could have some more troops to start out with, Liu Yu did have more troops then Gongsun, Gongsun just used the people as hostage and used Liu Yu's lack of military experience to beat him

Hopefully there will be a similar unlock factions mod for Trom's original, personally I don't like TUP very much (many items and characters)

@Morningstar: I think 182 and 8P are impossible to fix, almost all overhaul mods have problems with these 2 dlcs.

Hey Beans, I know it's only been a month but have you heard anything or gotten anywhere with the 182 crash bug? I'd personally love to play the YTR events with your mods!

by what i hear stinks it does not work in 182 but i can just be liu yu in 190 and kill that treacherous Gongsun Zan

this is cool so far tried out liu yao for a bit gonna try han sui, does the Havie Search Assignment mod work with this or is something like it already in?

Hey everyone - I've updated the description with the known issues. Sorry, but I'm not able to solve the 182 crash bug, its part of a bug that exists in the base TROM+TUP which we also can not solve.

I tried to look into fixing the records mode crash (since woodhawk recently made big improvments to TROM+TUP Records mode) but I was unable to figure it out with the time I have available.

Anyone else is free to look into the Records mode issue and try and solve it, please feel free to use any work in this mod on your own spin off mod. Or if you want you can always tell me the fix/upload me the file and I can update this mod.

yep im here due to crash on 182 campaign on turn 21 as well

same im having crash in the 182 campaign , it may be related to emperor liu diying i have no clue

hello i look for the same mod , but witout tup .... just being able to play to mandate of heaven on trom that's it

another "crash at turn 21 182 start" person here. two separate campaigns as liu chong consistently crashed at turn 21. looks like no one else has mentioned this so i will, idk if this will help but i think the problem is caused either by the nanman rebel faction or an event that triggers at the start of turn 22 because my music cuts out halfway through the nanman faction turn before coming back for a few seconds before the game crashes completely

So wanting to play as Gongsun Du. why is it i am only allowed to recruit one Buqu Axe for Sentinels or Archers and no resources until level 3. and also no faction unique faction resources for him?

Any idea what breaks records mode? Am looking for logs, but the game doesnt seem to produce any from these crashes?

One problem for me is REQUIRED [TROM+TUP] Campaign Overhaul (Part 1-5) not working wwith TROM. I have no idea.

@Vin362 I figured out what was causing the startup crash. It's the bug fix; disable it and your game should work.

Just thought I'd note, fairly annoyingly as Huang Zu, you start off as both a vassal AND accepting the governance of Liu Biao, issue is, you pay for both of these at the start, and if you become independent, you for some reason still pay the fee for the governance

yea Vin362 same thing is happening to me. Nothing we can do until he fixes it.

Anyone else having an issue with the game crashing while opening it up started since last week's WH3 update if it helps.

Any chance of adding Lu Bu as a unique faction in 190?

For some reason, the game is always crashed at turn 21 for both Ma Teng and Han Sui at 184 - MoH start date. The other factions worked fine. I only has this along with the 5 parts and MTU installed.
