@chrystales It's supposed to be like ace combat, extra ammo, dialogue, and all. And I just figured out you can blacklist certain vehicles. I've blacklisted helos and mobile aa's, just because for some reason they were given boost as well and it was both annoying and hilarious to see a tunguska boost into the air.

This mod was cool but it's actively breaking planes and helos. Afterburners would uncontrollably give them a huge velocity boost for no reason which literally sometimes destroys them

I tried putting a few different class names into the blacklist, but it doesnt seem to work. It wont allow me to use the Arma 3 default settings on them anymore. Meaning i cant select missiles and fire them

I dont know if it's just me, but I can't map my HOTAS buttons to WBK hotkeys. Saitek X52 works with vanilla plane movement, but missiles and tracking switching can only work on keyboard buttons

Sorry if that came off as too ranty, I want to like and use this mod, but it's just too clunky in its current state. Shame too, since I've been really into recreating the early stages of the continental war from AC4.

Although this is a neat little mod, in a way, I feel like this makes dog fighting much more clunky and unnecessarily tougher. I wouldn't mind having a version of this with just the increased amount of missiles and ace combat style lock out alerts, then I can just use arma's mechanics for dog fighting. I just feel that the enemy spams missiles and even when I know I outmaneuvered a missile, I still get hit waiting for chaff and flares/afterburners to cool down. I also have to get SUPER close to lock on, and even worse there is a huge delay after I fire the missile to when it actually launches, and by then my missile is already outmaneuvered. I know it's trying to simulate ace combat in that respect, but in my experience it renders missiles useless on my end. I'd rather just use the plane's own electronic warfare systems, radars, and weapons, especially when using Firewill's aircraft, which a lot of ace combat skins use anyway.

the f-22 for the usaf in the RHS mod doesn't recognize the machine gun and says undefined variable.

I've never had problems with helicopters i don't know what the issue would be. great work, wish AI had the same restrictions the player did, they seem to reload faster and have the ability to launch missiles point blank. Fun stuff though! :bigjohn:

As a flight maniac I can say love the mod and the customisation with weapons and skins however whenever you enter the additional pylons this then removes base loadout of the vehicle and will only have the main weapons. So it will remove laser marker, AP rounds and other weapons which can be annoying when using laser target bombs

I would consider raising the damage of the mods missiles. They seem quite lacking compared to armas own (at least in A2G) and they are pretty inconsistent too, sometimes 1 is enough, sometimes you need 5. Seems like the velocity you travel when firing affects missile damage a lot too (?)

It would also be great if you could add a whitelist that overrides blacklist. Then you can easily blacklist all Helicopters and then add in specific variants in the whitelist. Currently it would be quite some job to try to manually blacklist each unarmed helicopter etc.

And finally if you could make it so A2A missiles are still selectable in the normal way that'd be great. Blacklisting all helicopters prevents you from using equipped stingers etc on those helicopters, which is a bit silly because it completely removes their A2A kit. It would be nice if A2A missiles on the pylons arent disabled by this mod.

Overall its easily a 8/10 mod, super cool. Looking forward to v0.2

If "Helicopter" is added to Avionics blacklist and the helicopter happen to have AA missiles then they will not be able to fire these at all, basically it blocks all sorts of AA missiles to be used from anything in the blacklist. I can understand this may be a limitation of the system but it is slightly frustrating.

The HUD also dont seem to work for me, the toggle hud button does nothing, but the game seems to work fine without it as i can still see the custom lock on stuff and the text in bottom left. However the bottom left text is overlapping the squad UI element, would be nice if we could adjust the placement of the text or make it smaller.

It also seems to add IRCM to all helicopters even if in the blacklist, i am assuming this is a limitation of how the mod deals with AA missiles and simply adds the mods IRCM system to anything with countermeasures, be it flares or IR stuff?

planes make a lot of noise when firing missiles and this is unrealistic, for example if a plane passes by and this plane fires a missile at a target, the sound of this missile is too loud, it would be nice if this sound was reduced or if you need to be closer to be heard

This seems like a very dumb question, but how do you actually hit things with the missiles? Whenever I tried, no matter how close or aligned I was with the enemy, they'd just pop flares and avoid it.

I love the arcadeish style of flying but the rest while it is nice and pretty I just don't want it. Could you please make a version with just arcadeish flying? Aka different AI behvior?

@Outcast i cant controll whenever vehicles have weapons or not cause in config all of them have weapons. You can just put classnames into the blacklist.
