@shumbalion now sure where the best place is to ask questions, but here I am:
Is there any way to disable all features but the weather? Or make the weather more deadly? Or do you have the weather as an independent feature?

Personally I think a great way to make the game more difficult and random is to include more dangerous weather, especially to small grids, and I love these options. I already edit the other parameters to make everything less efficient, but this is the thing I cant find anywhere, especially for modded planets!

Short answer yes compatible. Best practice to load planet last in mod order.
Longer answer there are some trade-offs.
Moded planets have their own planet files, this controls weather (what types and how often), ore distribution + any planet settings. So you will not get custom weathers added by other mods, the ore distribution will be whatever the planet gives you and obviously planet settings like gravity will be what that mod planet sets.
Some planets may change vanilla weather settings (what the weather actually dose), often in error. But most just add to them. If vanilla weather settings are overridden by the planet for whatever reason, you can normally control it by loading the planet last. For single player the item on top of the mods list, takes priority so put the planet on the bottom. If you want to have the planet use a weather from another mod, you need to mod the planet files to include it (tedious).

It appears to be an issue with the MES or its AerodynamicsModAdvLiftOverride setting.
The mod has been updated and everything is fine with the ships option disabled.
I'll keep an eye on the NPС.

It would be power issues ‘if anything’ to do with this mod. It really depends on the NPC mods used tho, I never had issues with the old assert mods. I have not tested recent NPC mods with this lately.
It could be that the NPC mods or MES didn’t load right. I’ve had that before where they randomly ignore gravity and don’t even thrust to avoid it. In such case I not only had to restarts SE but my computer as something appears to linger in the memory O_o thanks Keen lol tho I normally only get that issues with a lot of other script mods running.

@shumbalion With this mod, MES NPC drones and ships on hydrogen thrusters fall on the planet.

I haven't fully understood the reason yet. Either the HO generator performance is low and the tanks are missing or they don't have enough electricity.

You will see them in the admin menu but, if the ‘spawning’ changes.. that is the question.

The issues with weather is, you can’t stop it from killing the AI grids from other mods *sad face* that can be a factor in frequency balance. The thing to remember is when you test how frequent a storm hits, is it’s a lot more fun at the start and you will put up with it more. But later it will feel far more annoying. =D So I feel anything over 5% could be too much but I’m keeping a close eye on it. ;)

The other point to note is weather damage in this game is really random for all the wrong reasons. When testing the wind damage it would hit everything or very little. Similarly the mega storm may choose to hit an important block, or it may put all its destructive energy into a single armoured block.

But I’ll work on a mod, you can tell me how it goes and I can adjust it.

I guess 1. I dont like the vanilla weather. I find it underwhelming and the lightning always one shots me even when I'm in a hole. Your weather sounds like real weather and I like that the lightning dont have pinpoint accuracy. Your mod is called "Brutal Mode" so make it Brutal.

These are my suggestions. But I have only every been on Pertam.
I think weather should be rare, but when it hits it hits hard.

Pertam & Mars are dust balls so I would have Tornadoes rare. (3-7%)
Triton is a icy moon with a high O2 atmosphere so I'd have storms high. (5-10%)
Earth I'd have the weather rare(ish). (2-6%)
Alien is a "hard" planet so I think the weather should reflect that (7-10%)
Titan is a relatively flat, icy, mars like rock planet with icy craters and low atmosphere. So it would make sense if weather was very rare. (5-3%)

1) You just like the weather to add to something else?
Or
2) So that you can play this mod without it?

If you want the weather separately, then this I can do more easily and probably will do sooner or later.
However I would like to get a little more feedback on the balance, if I can. As it’s hard to balance weather in this game.

2)
If you want to play this mod without the weather you currently have to disable all weather, or modify the files yourself so that the weather you don’t want doesn’t spawn. I will keep in mind a vanilla weather version if more people request it, although I didn’t think they would due to how silly the lightning is.
