As far as I understand from my testing, that issue stems from it being used by the Soundtrack Menu Mod. I'm guessing it's like that since you can only configure the thing once you're in-game, and not outside of it, so having different menu themes would be a little pointless. If you use it without the Soundtrack Menu, the title screen and intro music should work as normal.
... unless you're not using the Soundtrack Menu, in which case, God help you, I don't know what could be causing that. But regardless, I'm glad you like it and the Beast sequence so much! Means a lot.
I worked on the Rain World Soundtrack replacement mod for a good while, but I kind of hit a wall when making it... I have several spots in my song list that I wasn't able to fill, and all of them are fighting songs. Turns out, Rain World doesn't actually have all that many intense battle tracks compared to TBOI. If I were to fill them all, I'd have to retread several times over, and I'd rather not do that if I can help it. Maybe I'll come back to it and find a solution for that someday, but if you have suggestions to fix it, I'm all ears.
... anyway! Hope you enjoy this one as much as the last one!
Before I forget, you talked about doing a Rain World replacement sometime.
Is that perhaps in the works, or has it been shelved for now...?
Well, your Half-Life OST Replacement was amazing, so I'll give this a try as well.
Really? It should just work as a soundtrack replacement, the Soundtrack Menu is optional... in fact it should almost work better without the Soundtrack Menu. Maybe check if you have any other soundtrack mods installed that directly replace the music files?
The update has been dropped! The mod should now be compatible with the Soundtrack Menu! Let me know if you find anything weird or seemingly not working properly. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy it!
