About the new project. We're currently creating maps and vehicle skins. There will be approximately 250-300 new German infantry units. By that, I mean new skins, badges, regiments/divisions. There will be hero figures that you can also take into battle. There will be modified vehicles, such as the Kübelwagen "medic" version with a stretcher on it, and a matching wounded soldier who will get a bloody skin. Things are going a bit slowly at the moment because a lot of typing is required in the files. A lot of research and gathering all the details, badges, symbols, etc. The big problem is that we're waiting for the English faction; we won't be adding any other English units. Everything will remain based on GoH. Oh, and there will be bushes and grass for the vehicles and helmets, as well as newly textured tents/camouflage nets/crates, and many other small parts.

All of this takes time to maintain quality and to offer you new content. The focus will be the single/co-op player experience. A gigantic area has been broken down into view maps and you will be able to play one or more complete Allied operations, or on the other hand you have to try and stand up to the advancing Allies and of course there are targets that must be met here too. All of this will be available in doctrine style or 10 flags. The missions have been greatly improved and now offer even more enemy waves, aircraft attacks, and enemy patrols. It's going to be gigantic and made with a lot of love. Please be patient. You won't regret it. Big names are working on this huge project, each of which is known for their cool mods. Of course, we're also incorporating user requests we've heard over the past few years and even creating completely new ones. :skull_metal: We're doing our best for you. @Dear friends of this mod: There will be very little new here this summer. We are working on a great new mod that offers you everything like here and more. There will be even more historical information and it will be more accurate than ever before. New uniforms with the correct insignia and other markings. Meticulously researched battlefields and, of course, Google Maps/Earth imports of the maps. Hero figures and special squads (specially created units) will have uniforms in a quality never seen here before. New historically accurate camouflages for the tanks and all other vehicles of the Wehrmacht and Waffen XX. (I have currently recreated 4 different camos for 80% of all German vehicles. The new mod will have 2 huge campaigns that will be co-op ready. The maps will have various multiplayer modes.

Agree with most comments as these are the single BEST single player missions in the workshop. When I see an update it is like Christmas morning! Cant wait for more thank you!

Hi Uwo, first of all I would like to thank you for these missions. To my taste these are the best among Ostftornt related mods. Amazing detailed maps and well scripted missions. I bit too easy for me as i played on hardcore mode and passed those on first try, anyway it was awesome. I have played with the Airfield mission test mode, i was not able to trigger the ending of "Secure take-off and landing zone" task. Seemingly endless waves came from the SE part of the map. Keep up the great work. Best.

Always come back to this mod to see the changes, I did notice some model errors, Blue spider soldiers on enemy's in the 1st and 2nd mission

Uwo, I played Weissen Trainstation, Bautzen-Ortenburg and Kubschutz all without any problems (btw all were excellent!); however, there is definitely a problem with Bautzen-Trainstation, the 2nd mission. I went back and tried it again and it appears that once you save the game then try to reload it you will get that Exception_Access_Violation read error. I also had it crash a few times for no reason during play with the same error. It's pretty much unplayable at this point as you can't save it. I've no idea what is causing it. I did check out my system and it appears fine and as it plays the other missions without problem then I have to assume it is indeed the mission. Sorry, I cannot be more helpful. I still think it is one of the best campaigns I have ever played and when you find the problem, I will definitely give Bautzen-Trainstation another try. Thanks again!

Whoa! I am getting a lot of crashes on the 3rd mission, the 'Bautzen Trainstation' mission. The first two missions played fine... I haven't changed anything, I did lowered the graphics resolution, but that is all. It's an "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION read" I've no idea what is causing this. My system seems to be okay...

Uwo, very, VERY nice work! The first phase was a bit difficult for me but I really enjoyed it. I am currently on the third (3rd) phase and it still is, in my opinion, perfect. I did start call you a bunch of nasty names in the first phase as seems there were a lot of Soviet flame throwers turning my soldiers crispy before I could react. I hate those guys! LOL!. Anyway, I just wanted to pass my appreciation and say excellent work. Thank you! I did not forget to give it a thumbs up either. Thanks again!

In the mission Kubschutz, the goal "Destroy ennemy HQ" is completed automatically at the beginning of the mission ^^

Hello Uwo, I recently recommended your MOD to a YouTuber I believe is French who sometimes plays (and shows) Gates of Hell... in general they are the missions from the original game but as he had already played a MOD (Operation Citadel) that is available... I recommended your MOD and he told me that he really likes it.... I watch him play sometimes and he divides it into videos of 30 minutes .... he is in the first mission "Weissenberg Trainstation" and watching it today (he's in part 4), I noticed that when he entered with some soldiers plus a sniper on the right side of the map that goes through the ruins of factories divided into two blocks and, there are at least 3 soldiers that he killed that were blue and that people call spider soldiers... I don't know if you saw this in the game but I'm reporting it to you.... I played a little but I didn't get there yet.

I encounter a strange bug. When i load Narvik, i have the minimap Narvik but in game its a different map. No water, no snow. Its an airfield and some forests.
I have reinstall the mod and i have same issue ^^

I play the new version of you bautzen campaign.
In the second mission, i cant load savegame. It crashes every attempt. I check the files it crashes again.

Mission 1 is okay, no problem and you have a done a good job for optimisation ^^

I remember eating excellent sausages just below Nuremberg Castle, but without mustard.
It was not necessary to have tasty food.
As a Burgundian, the only local product (in this old province, older than the French monarchy) I reject is Dijon mustard, really not necessary with local products (I'm thinking of Charolais beef) ...
It's a good product for the English, with their boiled meat !

The enemy positions on Cottbus are still being expanded and strengthened. No, I don't have a plan or date for Flags of Hell yet. What I can reveal is: a new project has been opened, similar to my historical area for the home front. There will be large maps that together form a very, very large area of ​​operations. The whole thing will have a lot of historical background and a lot of research has been done so far + real world height imports and overlays, researched uniforms for the appropriate units and vehicles appropriate to this time and area. My thougts about Cottbus airfield :

- pros :
a scout feeling, you have to explore carefully.
Good design.
Good pressure from ennemies counter attacks (nice scripted)
Good skins for units.

- cons :
Due to testing phase, need more panel of units. Just Tanks destroyers is not enough, imho.
The bicyle for medic is too much lol.
Maybe stronger defensive spots for ennemies would be better (i play hard mode with fog of war and i feel its a easy mission).

Resume : You can play, it's fun and a real pleasure. Thanks for your work Uwo.

Hello, I'm really enjoying the mission Gubin(07)...I played until I got a first test and it worked well...but I wanted to report something I observed and I don't know if you can fix it because it could be something related to the construction ...I went to conquer the first objective on the left side of map...that's what the prize to win is artillery...well on the left side of this conquered land there is a house that you placed on the second floor (there are 3 windows) a sniper on the left... in the center an MG assistant and on the right an operator from MG...well I killed the sniper with my sniper...but when I shoot at the middle window and the one on the right...it didn't kill any of them...I threw molotov and nothing...I threw artillery and it only killed the one on the kinda though part of the house destroyed...I think the two windows have some kind of BUG.

I have not anchored the new soldier uniforms firmly in the unit files. Please let me know if you have any problems when the units first spawn with and then without camo. Or they jump off the vehicles too early and are no longer selectable. For the editor players: there are very, very many camo combinations possible for the soldiers of the weapons xx. Check it out

I myself dont make mods and cant really offer much help in that regard. the co op statement basically was meant to try and be encouraging instead of just putting pressure and being annoying because I realized that when I first commented a few days prior that it probably came across ungrateful and annoying. Sorry that I cant be more helpful but at the very least im rooting for ya :)

also on a more important note, I noticed two small issues while playing recently, the first being the weird blue broken texture characters showing up in the first mission, though that might be on my end. more substantial to me is that many of the modded vehicles have no engine sound at all, such as wanze, the howitzer halftrack, and the night vision panther, figured you might want to know

I previously complained about the lack of co op, but I want to say that the only reason I want it so badly is that you have masterfully created what I see as some of the best missions ever made for this game and I wanna share that with friends. I still hope that the issues preventing multiplayer get resolved, but make no mistake, I will gladly wait as long as it takes for a mod this amazing. Keep up the good work my dude, you are an absolute legend and your hard work deserves all the recognition it gets and more <3

The time has come. The update is out. In the last battles area, 2 more missions await you:the early test phase reinforcement menu test. Guben and Cottbus. Both missions are packed with my created weapons xx skins as well as new vehicle skins. Experiences further battles with the 10th Panzer Division Frundsberg. Listens to new intro music that I created myself and flies the Wehrmacht's newest Messerschmidt fighters.
