I have officially concluded my modding journey on this workshop.
As always: feel free to make any kind of submods for any of my mods.

I don't think so.
I played around with a bunch of test dummies with that animation to see what I could achieve and so far I only got the following:
-The engineers support the ranged attacks...but since that animation It's tied to a specific ability they look odd when they are shooting normal ammo.
They look weird when they shoot and reload, they are generally slow and awkward and even if you change the ammo display to Jezzails' ammo they will still load and shoot the doomrocket first.
Again: your best bet Is to find someone who can either help You with converting the Handgunner/Thunderer animations to be compatible with Skaven models or make an improved Jezzails animation that actually look like Handgunner/Thunderer animations.

i was doing some digging, there is a skaven animation set that could pass for a rifle. the warplock engineer and his staff/gun/shootey thing
would that suffice?

The Skaven models' skeletons are only compatible with Skaven animations.
By forcing animations that are exclusive to other skeleton types (Human Hangunners/Dwarf Thunderers) You'll only obtain a mangled model with a broken animation.
Unless you make a new custom animation from scratch or repurpose an existing animation, that Is.
So Yeah, Out of the question (at least from me) .

thanks for pointing me in the right direction, so im assuming just having a skaven mesh with a human or even zombie handgunner animation is out of the question?

Sorry, I don't make custom animations.
What you are asking would require to either create a new custom animation from scratch or repurpose the Handgunners/Thunderers animations for the Skaven models.

Hello, i'm new to the Skaven, and i was wondering if anyone would be interested in making a Skaven "Handgunner" equivalent, i know there is the "Warplock Jezails"and the "Ratling Gunners" but im thinking something like a more conventional non weapon team type of ranged infantry.

Great mod btw, makes me want to do a doomstack of these with Queek just for the meme, although their stats make me feel like it'd be a waste not to use a bunch of ratling guns with only like 3 of these as defense

@21combsda No, I don't take direct requests but feel free to leave a mod suggestion.
If It's something that I can make within my current modding capabilities (which are quite basic), I'll think about It.
Please be aware that I mainly do just unit mods, I don't make re-skins (unless I'm really bothered by the look of specific Vanilla units), overhaul related content, custom factions, script stuff or anything related to specific in-game events or rituals.

Oh lord, I'm on turn 434 with Queek, If I add that to Singe's Skills for Queek with the normal Mors Tech Tree, these guys would be insanely god-like. Thanks for letting me know

@21combsda I gave them the Stormvermins unit sets so yeah, they should get Stormvermin related bonuses from technology without problems.
Not sure about Lords' bonuses though.
