Thanks!
Also, the Equites were also supposed to be the wealthy elite of Rome so they would most likely have the most expensive gear possible, bronze breastplates and plumed helmets etc. If possible that would be a cool change. As I say great changes overall.
you might be able to compress the textures with lz4 to maybe reduce file size by 75%.
(as in, using the same compression as feral used to ship the textures)
lol
As for the crashing though, from testing it does still work if you leave the original texture name the same. As it has a default texture, then it has faction specific textures. It will crash if I change the name though so you are right in that regard.
This is one of the reasons I split the mod up into different sections. I want to use the workshop and not have to point people to 3rd party sites. I don't even know if there's a workshop mod limit size for Rome. But yeah. What can you do I guess?
@fuck It is indeed unfortunate. I tried to compress the files the best I could without losing all the detail. There are also multiple versions of the same texture with different shield/other designs also resulting in an even higher mod size.
Thanks for the comments
see, that's the issue with RR modding, mods are painfully un optimized in terms of size...
(Not Chaz's fault obviously)
