Anyway, nitpicking aside..

The track's kinda simple. And, there's absolutely NO difference between the light and heavy Podracer designs - the heavy's literally just the light with heavy armour.
About the track, it just doesn't have much of anything to it. It feels like an oval, only with a quick Chicane (that can be skipped if you time it right) in there. Maybe making a Nurburgring is a bit too much, but at least add some variety. A figure-eight would be good.

Well done Tom. It seems the workshop is taken by storm with these designs(you being one of the first), your concept is very good, but your ships may need some tweeking ;) still, +1 from me.
