I've been swapping the arms for the original (untextured, on the stock glock file) whenever the arms changes to whatever it displays ingame.
For some reason, swapping all possible arms seems to cause an error when compiling on Crowbar, something like access violation. Quick google showed that it was due to too many vertices or whatnot, so I've been just changing manually the arms to whatever the game changes to ingame.
Probably you'd be able to fix it. I have little to no knowledge about any of this.
I've tried doing my own modding here, replaced the HEV arms for the Blue Shift arm model, and it "worked", though with missing watch and some other details. But worse of all, at mid game, it turns into a zombie arm.
