Also the starting quests should maybe be set to appear as anomalies or archeological site, rather than a sure spawn start.

Very cool mod, but there are a lot of bugs.
The insanity trait seems to drop at random, notably very common among newly spawned characters.
No event or inquiry spawn when meeting some anomalies such as Azathoth.
The quests or trackers do not appear to work, they come without objective and the map marker does not work.

Sanity loss traits also appear as new upgrades and can even appear as your only options for new traits. In game I got a option between adding minor sanity loss or major sanity loss when one of my leaders leveled up

I have some gripes about this mod. The main and biggest one being that it screws up leaders, who generate often with varying levels of sanity loss... and nothing else. This means most leaders will be neutered out the gate, forcing the player to wait and hope the next batch of leaders are generated without sanity loss, but its never a guarantee. If you flag the sanity loss traits as negative, maybe it'll prevent them form showing up as often, but otherwise I strongly suggest just making them not starting ones because its just unfair.

Another issue is with the presentation. Playing as a hivemind, everything is very barebones, and some things just happen without any explanation, often within the first few months of play. This is highly jarring to a player, and I strongly recommend some attention be directed to this area to make it more engaging and natural.

I would like to run vanilla (with my DLCs) with just this one MOD. Can anyone give me any details of how I can avoid ANY game breaking bugs AND/OR have the best experience with it? This is the only MOD I can see besides maybe that one other DLC like MOD that has both english and chinese versions. 1

Pretorins at 10x crisis strength couldn't success feeding on galaxy. So they awakened Azathoth and rapidly got their advantage over galaxy:D

update. uhh yeah. if possible, can we like, at least get a warning about the fact that killing one of the entities of this mod ends up having extreme ratifications for the whole galaxy. like, I straight up don't think everyone will take it as well as I did (and even then, while I think it is kind of funny in a way, it aslo sucks because I spent like weeks playing my save on ironman mode and now I can't get my empire back and it makes me sad).

hey so, it was about azatoth, I found him but my quest won't update, furthermore, I don't know what to do with it ? so far only thing I did was sending a corvette to attack it but apart from azatoth attacking it sometimes, it doesn't seem to do anything (I have other mods wich allows for an immense amount of shield stacking so that might be why my corvette isn't being instantly anahilated)

I second that, the workshop is a bit sparse if it comes to organic ship sets. looks awesome though.

I don't know why it says that, furthermore, paradox launcher is preventing me from uploading the mod. Anyone potentially know why? There is a grey box on the upload mod button.

No Problem, as of the update I just put out, Azathoth's death doesn't trigger and event, since the process to determine an entity's death is a pain.

I'll look into why you can't colonise Kadath. It might be I can't make it work due to something about how solar systems are set up, if my memory serves right.

Hi I have a problem trying to understand the mod. So I love the idea and goes pretty fine with me, but I don't understand the gathering for Kadath and Azathoth, at the begining of the game the search for Kadath events starts, and at the mid-game I get to find the place where's Azathoth and Kadath, but after that nothing else happens. I conquer all the galaxy, I'm even able to kill Azathoth and that's all of it, I cannot colonise Kadath or conquer the system, it's a but frustrating. Maybe there's something I didn't understand. Could you help me please? Also a larger description of your mod would be super. Thanks.

- I've scrapped the whole "azathoth ends the game" mechanic. Some people liked it, but overall it did feel like a buggy inconvenience, plus "kill checks" are a level of coding I do not have.
- Rewrote the description
- Instead, upon finding azathoth you get an artifact now.

Mycroft - Can you tell me more about what happened? Last I checked, that only happens by killing azathoth, which takes an end game fleet to do. This likely means I screwed up with either the stat block, or the event triggered randomly, which shouldn't happen.

Mestoyo- No, it does not.

Also- I don't know what the heck is going on with the description, but it used to be here, and now it isn't. I'll try and figure it out.

Would be nice if the game-ending crisis was mentioned in the description. A lot of the changes can be game-ruining without prior warning.

i just barely got an event that said "azathoth just woke up at the center of the galaxy, so, the game just ends now". Not a fan of any mod that basically just says "hey, we know you are barely at the early-mid of the game, but i don't want you to play anymore. Go start another game".

I know it would have been a pain to give us a sweet crisis or something, maybe make a bunch of ships that show up out of nowhere, but the few which DID spawn all had a fleet power of 8000 when i haven't even got a single destroyer or tier 3 weapon yet, i assumed it would just lead to some kind of event later down the line where i'd have to fight off a new lovecraftian crisis, and instead it just....ends the game?

Fixed the thing, azathoth is now there whenever I go check it out. May be a little more difficult to kill as well.

I also found the system empty only about 10 years into the game. no one even close to being able to kill something like that.

Oh well, maybe he was killed by another empire, first such case for me:D. When I found his system, it already was empty (about 2300-2320 year). Moreover, Kadath was generated as "precursor planet" (from Guilli planets), so I thought that Azathoth didn't spawned/despawned bcause of this)
Seems no bugs here)
But it would be great for player to, somehow, set Azathoth's military power to higher values, and/or, for example, to toggle on gradually power growth for Him)
Now I am even surprised by the fact, that this is the first game where a ~100k power entity got killed by AI

Hi Invizlble! Did you perchance kill Azathoth, because that ends the game. If no player killed azathoth, then this is a bug that I'll have to fix

Cant get, which of two Lovecraftian mods does The thing ill discribe below.
Event, about midgame time, about Azathoth's awakening, which destroyed all artificial space objects allover tha galaxy (including any spaceship and leaders onboard), in every system, where any species where starting the game. Including even systems with primitives. (Every such system is now called Void)
Is the event suppose to act like this?) (if i, generally, commented the right mod :D )

Btw, would be almost okay, but the described event also destroyed Katzen's Attack Moon from Gigastructures, and, that way, prevented savegame from best crisis ever made by stellaris community :c

I'm pretty recent to this mod, and loving what I see so far!

I have 2 things I found to misrepresent the source material to a slight decree though, so just thought to mention them in case you also think they're worth changing.

For one, the Elder Thing premade empire seems to have a wrong portrait. What would closer match Lovecraft's description would probably be the Vhixh Republic presented below.

I also find the Yithians kind of inaccurate, not an expert, but as far as I know there is little to suggest they're a warrior sort of people, except perhaps guarding the "flying polyps" but that seems like a stretch. Also, maybe have them be democratic since they did vote on their leaders, at least the ones that passed the intellectual requirements to vote.
