Someone must finish this mod.

I can't play without it, none of the big overhauls (DeI, Parabellum...) achieve what achieve this mod. Specially the fact all regions are independent, they do not need another one to develop and be totally autonomous and walled settlements is a must. So it would be great to see it finished (city ports bug, mercenaries...) because it is the base for great campaigns.

I use it with Aucta AI an it works very well.

after i have built everything in a settlement and it hits population surplus of 7 a little floating white hammer will appear above the city, prompting me to build something even though there is nothing left to build :(, found this out later in my campaign, first manifested in syracuse

Hey Sara, I'm with my man just below.. Haven't played in many moons and came back and saw your work... looked interesting so I tried it... and it worked great with a hodgepodge of 30 other old mods to boot... a really unique spin... make the game much less tedious...

Now unlike atrox below; I have no desire to play a bunch of different fractions to try to keep things interesting... but I had an epiphany while playing with your mod... what if we could, (instead of having only 6 building slots), build a real complete city with 20 or so slots?

I mean really see what we could make of one of these old town from antiquity... :steamthumbsup:

Now I think that would breath new life into this game here... anyway... just a thought... Thank you so much

Great work! I hadn't played in a long time until I saw this work and the game took on a different character! I don't know if you have the time or desire, but it would be great if you could make all factions playable for this mod!

there needs to be a compatibility patch for both DEI and the sanitation++/POR++ mod... population mechanics plus proper cities would be amazing ingame

a DEI compatible version of this would be amazing! kind of surprised DEI hasn't implemented this itself, the province system and the dumb 4 building only small unwalled towns were some of the worst things implemented in Rome 2

Right now most of the regional province name is the name of the settlement itself. However, since the game objectives require the player to progress by occupying the settlements with the original province names, you have to either adjust the name of the province for each regional settlements or change the list of regional settlement names that needs to be occupied in the objectives.

Sara, if you read me you must be aware that I talked about your mod in a game's review on the store page. Hope that increases your mod visibility and, why not, your interest in pushing things forward when the time let you re-take things here.

Not 100% sure if it's a mod conflict, but port walled cities that used to be port villages, eg Olbia, are showing up as an inland walled settlement on the battle map. Crashed when i started a defensive battle, and lagged like hell when i assaulted, All Non port settlements are fine, awesome mod!!

I played half campaign with this mod and works fine, the AI empires expand slowly, but I think is ok. I still miss 12 TPY and some historical changes at start pos.

Have you seen "Refreshed Gran Campaign Start (12 TPY)"?

A merge of these two mods would be a game changer that even DEI or PB never provided.

The best feature is that all cities are walled, something that lacks vanilla and I don't know why. At the moment is firmly in my favorite mods list, sadly if you play Carthage the absence of mercenaries is not fun at all.

Super interesting mod, hoping will be finished soon, the (roman) provincial system is dumb and arbitrary, sorry CA, is like that. Mainly because you are obliged to be more focused in conquering whole provinces than isolated regions.

Also I'm testing other mods like 12TPY that are much more realistic gameplay wise, the problem is that with 12TPY some needed tech comes late or too late. But I guess could be a good combo with SSRP.

Very nice mod! Im far too lazy to read all the comments to avoid a doubled request, so i hope it dont concern you when i propose that you maybe set the holdout timer to the original values from 2013. (6 round at base without techs when i remember right, correct me when im false) Keep on this nice endeavour:steamthumbsup:

What's the point to have normal industry buildings that you usually had in minor settlements?
They give less gold but same amount of public order penalty?

To all who ask about DeI version: I don't know how complicated would be to make a version for DeI. I very busy with my main project for Shogun 2 so I don't have time to check it. Maybe I will do it in future but I don't promise anything.

@derenx Nie, nie dałabym. A nawet jakbym mogła to nie chciałoby mi się, bo jak napisałam nie lubię Romowego systemu prowincji. Poza tym, efekty specjalnych budynków przynajmniej w części działają na sąsiednie prowincje lub działają globalnie, więc jak najbardziej możesz je wykorzystać ;) W wolnej chwili zerknę na te efekty i jeśli któreś działają tylko lokalnie to poprawię by działały na sąsiednie prowincje. Podbije też liczbę edyktów które można wydać.

@Warriordude Such mod would be good for Thrones of Britannia. Tbh. In Rome is too small amount of settlements for this (e.g. whole greece would be automatically under Athens). I hope that one day someone will create such a mod.

a dałabyś rade zrobić tak żeby prowincje zostały tylko po prostu te mniejsze miasta miałyby 6 slotów na budynki i mury? bo jednak budynki maja te bonusy do handlu , przemysłu i rolnictwa + edykty to trochę szkoda żeby tego nie wykorzystać ;/

This is interesting. My idea was a Mod to where you take the province Capital the other Cities in that province automatically join your faction. I remember that old I think Saga genesis game, Vikings Strategy of Ultimate Conquest think it was called that? in that game if you Captured the Capital the whole region becomes yours.
