@Fluffy Kiwi: fixed
bardosy[HUN]  [author] 23 Feb, 2022 @ 10:44pm
Thanks for report this! It's probably the new patch. Before that, I checked this many times and it was not possible. Now I'll update this issue soon.

Nice room! But you have a major issue there - you can literally walk freely between the two rooms by walking behind the bookshelves from one side :)

Did the post it notes used to not have the words written on it ? If so that was better imo. That part is a bit too obvious and the overall room is a little on the easy side. Well designed though.

Thanks! You were great with your suggestions.

@bardosy[HUN] I have tried this and I think this is an improvement. The only thing I would say is maybe make the post-it notes a little more subtle, I feel like now it might even be a little too obvious but this is the right idea, I don't know how to do this but I am sure you can come up with a cool idea for it

Good work!

@T.TV/Fluffatron_UK : I updated the room with the two first suggestions. I hope in the weekend I could do the finalé too.
bardosy[HUN]  [author] 3 Feb, 2022 @ 5:19am
@T.TV/Fluffatron_UK : Thank you for the very constructive feedback!

Color code:
So if I remove the text from the sticky notes and write the color (eg 'Red') to it, then it will be more hint that this color is somehow important?

Grid:
If to the soling mask I replace the X to the order number: 1., 2. , 3. and 4. will help?

Finalé:
You are right. I feel the same, that it would be great to leave the players for the dinner ;) I will try to add something what players need to do together in the middle room before finish.

[Part 2/2]
The number grid puzzle - one gets the grid of numbers and the other gets the coordinates. I did not see anything indicating the order in which the numbers are input. We assumed the numbers go from Left->Right and we were confused why it wasn't working. We tried mirroring it and rotating it but then it turned out it was a Top->Bottom ordering. There are multiple ways to show this whether that be make the grid directional with arrows or give each coordinate a letter to indicate position but something extra to hint would really help here.

Finally - and this is really important - I think the cutest part is the ending. It ends a little too quickly after solving the final puzzle. I would like the ending to force you to go in and have your dinner date so that you don't miss this beautiful detail!

They were the only specific pieces of feedback I have. You have great ideas and I hope you continue to improve in future rooms you create.

[Part 1/2]
Hey I played this yesterday. I liked it, it has a lot of really good ideas but it does lack polish. I'd like to give a little bit of constructive feedback, this will contain spoilers for anyone who has not done the puzzle.

I wanted to write a longer piece of feedback but character limit is not allowing me so this is cut into 2 parts!

The colour puzzle - looking at the other comments it seems many have had issue with this puzzle! This is a nice idea but the person who has the post-it notes needs a better clue that the colours of these notes are important. I don't know what is technically possible but if you can change what is written on the notes to say something which hints about colours being important that would be an idea? Or if that is not possible then some other clue elsewhere in the room?
bardosy[HUN]  [author] 2 Feb, 2022 @ 12:19am
@PeyPal: Yeah, sorry. Many people have problem with the color code. I thought it's obvious, but surely not.
PeyPal 1 Feb, 2022 @ 11:36pm
Thanks for the walkthrough, all that hassle just because of the colours of the sticky notes lmao
bardosy[HUN]  [author] 1 Feb, 2022 @ 11:33pm
@PeyPal @Shad: I created a walkthrough (without the exact solutions, but a little bit too much help) in the discussion section up here. Change to the Discussion tab and use it if you need.

@PeyPal: about the boardgame
It's the color code. There is a color code in the white room (in a very obvious place - check the walkthrough if "obvious" didnt help) and red room player should use this code in the colored buttons. It will give two hint what the white room player can use: one of it is the boardgame
PeyPal 1 Feb, 2022 @ 11:25pm
Okay so, we've gotten up to the point where we need to move the chess pieces in whiteroom, but where would it be in redroom to indicate it? We've tried looking by ourselves for a few hours, then we shared our screens on discord to see if either of us could find it, but no luck. This has been the only map we haven't been able to figure out everything.
bardosy[HUN]  [author] 1 Feb, 2022 @ 11:11pm
PeyPal:

What painting? The one what you can turnd and strange symbol behind it? You should talk about with your friend in the other room. He has the other half of this clue. You should merge your "strange symbol" and it will be a 4 digit number.

Other half of the strange symbol:
In the white room, there is a computer screen with a boardgame puzzle: redroom player has the hint for the boardgame, so when whiteroom player solve it, the monitor will show the other half of the strange symbols.
PeyPal 1 Feb, 2022 @ 11:06pm
I've been stuck on the painting ones for hours. We have no idea what to do.
bardosy[HUN]  [author] 1 Feb, 2022 @ 10:18pm
@Shad: Sure. I try to make one. It's hard to make a video - because this room needs two player and they work simultanously -, but I try to write one.
Shad 1 Feb, 2022 @ 1:32pm
Can we have a walkthrough?
YeppeoGumiho 28 Jan, 2022 @ 2:59pm
As for the white room final lock:
You could add two more objects in to some of the already created locked storage you have in the white room. Then in the red room, have the hint hidden that shows the correct order. But, instead of it just being an image/photo of the correct order, you can have a piece of paper with a puzzle or riddle that once deciphered, reveals the correct order of the items. This will add one more puzzle to your room, extending the playing time without having to create more keys or storage.

I hope that all makes sense.
YeppeoGumiho 28 Jan, 2022 @ 2:59pm
@bardosy[HUN] Here's some additional feedback to answer your questions:
Adding a mini refrigerator next to the colored buttons might be TOO much of a hint. My suggestion is possibly making the post-it notes a more vibrant color and add those vibrant colors to the the colored buttons. Right now, they are a pastel color which kind of just blends in with the refrigerator and doesn't really stand out as something important in the room.
bardosy[HUN]  [author] 27 Jan, 2022 @ 10:37pm
Thank you for all the feedbacks!

Color code:
I can add a small/game refrigerator, next to the color coded buttons. Is it enough or too much?

White room final lock:
If I add two more items/key (and the hint in the red room show the correct order) is it more fun? Bc I thought if the order is shown on the hint in the other room, it's not too much fun more. I dont want to create more locked storage, so I should put the new keys one of the current storages.

Your feedback is very valuable for improve this room.
YeppeoGumiho 27 Jan, 2022 @ 8:41pm
Definitely felt pretty short. I was expecting to have to place three different items on the poker chips in my side of the room. But I just placed the airplane and boom, we were done. It was still a lot of fun though! We definitely had to talk a lot! Got a bit hung over on the sticky notes but it eventually clicked. Thanks for sharing.
aeciru 27 Jan, 2022 @ 8:04pm
It was pretty straight forward, lots of communication needed but me and my friend got it. The only thing we had gotten caught up on was the sticky notes . We hadn't thought about it. Maybe it could have a bit more of a hint, but we figured it out eventually.
bardosy[HUN]  [author] 25 Jan, 2022 @ 10:29pm
Thanks for the feedback! I will erase the yellow arrow! Sorry for mislead
Sephodious (Moi) 25 Jan, 2022 @ 7:37pm
we figured it out, you're supposed to read it like a book, but the yellow arrow is misleading, maybe an arrow at the top left pointing to the right would be better? [/spolier]
Sephodious (Moi) 25 Jan, 2022 @ 7:32pm
Biggest problem so far for us is monitor with the x's and the whiteboard. the yellow arrow makes us think something but no combination has worked
bardosy[HUN]  [author] 24 Jan, 2022 @ 12:31am
Thanks for the feedback!

What you found is the HALF of the numbers. Your freind (in the other room) should find the other half. And then you should combine it.

General hint:
If you find anything, you should share it with your friend in the other room.
thetheth 23 Jan, 2022 @ 1:03pm
Wtf is with the note behind the painting ? It could be so many different numbers.
