@Petross808 Game crashes when hit by ring fly.

@Ricchi Walker, thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, I don't plan on coming back to this mod any time soon. I'm not saying it can't happen, but I'm currently more focused on making actual games than mods. There are multiple bugs and issues with this project and it would probably be better to straight up rebuild it from ground up with all the new updates and new isaac modding tools.

I really like this mod except when playing tainted eden it way too often gives me speedrunner and just severely hinders the run, especially that speedrunner damage doesn't reroll items. Then also with added polaroid its hard to even take reroll damage on an enemy bc speedrunner triggers the shield :// Also i feel speedrunner itself is just unbalanced. I think speedrunner would have been better designed not to take damage when playing too slow, but to work as opposite of stopwatch, where it speeds up all enemies by 50%. This would add enough challange to make it extremely harder with item equipped but not punishing someone for spending more than 3 seconds outside of a room with enemies.

Alternatively speedrunner could leave all doors open when entering any room (except ofc mega satan door) so player could stay in uncleared rooms or skip them or something like that :)

I haven't tried the mod but even just from the looks of it some of these items are awful. I know curse of the greed is meant to be a late game item for the womb but in dark room and chest you don't get to pick up the many items that spawn there without losing stats. Whole Leaf seems awful. It's not specific enough so I have to estimate but maybe make it like half a heart a second? Would be a lot better than "quickly". From what I'm hearing pistachio milk doesn't decrease your tear damage and is probably insane for short floors but in strong bosses with lots of HP like delirium and mega satan it sounds like it's just an automatic loss. A lot of other items need a rework too since stuff like teddy bear is just boring and devil's tonic, with how high the addiction chance is, would literally become useless after the first few times. The comment below has a lot of good ideas and I reccomend following them.

Golden Cross is too weak for a 12 charge item, especially since it means giving up any other possible angel item choice. A rework would go a long way..

Curse of greed is actively detrimental. Having it make all other items cost money would be a far more interesting rework.

Speedrunner is actively detrimental. There is no run where taking it results in victory as the health drain happens too fast to replenish. It's a never-take. Same with Full Leaf (which in itself, might need a new sprite) Rework required if you want people to take these items after the first time.

Blue Pill softlocks you out of Mausoleum/Ghena floors. Adding Lost properties for such a situation to compensate would be a good solution.

Teddy bear has a minimal effect. Rework Nessesary. Adding the same damage up against champion enemies would be an interesting rework.

Heya fam, just a heads up -- I noticed this in my logs while trying to diagnose a crash:
"[INFO] - [RossBoosterPack] Error in "PostLevelLoad" call: Right-hand side of 'instanceof' is not an object"

I don't think it's the source of my crashing, but figured I should let you know about it anyway since it sounds like a line of code in your mod isn't executing properly or something :P

This crashes the game when you are attacked by a ring fly.

Warning: Don't take blue pill if you plan to go to the alt path and mother fight. It will prevent you from opening the door that needs damage to open. Also if you sit next to it you will quickly take a lot of damage and die.

It is indeed supposed to be for every item. It is meant as a late game item in like a womb where you're not gonna get many more items.

Is Curse of the Greed supposed to give you an all-stats down for EVERY item picked up? Or just the ones it SPAWNS? Because in my game, it's giving me an all-stats down for every item after getting it from metronome. And that's some bs.

All these item's are great, though i do think pete's blessing and golden cross should be resprited so they aren't so similar to holy mantle and eden's blessing because neither are similar/opposite of those already existing items.

There is no interaction between Blue Pill and Masochism, if I got self-inflicted damage, I would get hit after 1 second instead of healing myself. Suggest you add the interaction of the two items.

Hello I would like to tell you that there might be some kind of problem with Pete's Blessing and tainted Isaac(at least it occured during my run with him) so basically, I was getting massive Dmg up for swaping trinkets (for example fish head and lil larva) and it was infinite, currently I'm at over 6mil dmg

No, it does not modify anything from vanilla. The only conflict I could see happening would be if some other mod used the same name as any of my items, but if that happens just let me know, it should be an easy fix.

So are you sure this mod won't have any conflict with other mod that tweak the game it self? Like changes to vanilla items, chest or so on? If not I'll install right away.

It's written on the first line of main.lua. The file is generated using TypescriptToLua which is used by IsaacScript framework that I used to make the mod. It contains all the things neccessary for the framework to work.

I like the item desie and really want to give It a try. However It check thew main.lua file in your mod and it seems there're way too much content In It. It almost seems like it cover all vanilla items effect in it as well, there're a lot of item list that has all the vanilla item in it. Although I'm not a modder and I'm not sure what exactly is in your lua file, I do know it's way too much content for a small item mod like this pack which only contain 12 items. Mods with 30 items don't have such large lua file, so can you tell me what exactly is going on?

Looking back at the code, you're definitely right, it needs changing. Right now, it's scaling linearly, meaning you could actually get to negative numbers, if you had a lot of quality 3/4 items and none quality 0/1. I'll change it in the next update, which will probably come tomorrow.

Very interesting items, although I think Pete's Blessing could use some tweaking. I picked it up during a run and it reduced my damage to 0.5.

I have not thought of that to be honest. But now after checking it, you're right, It could definitely get confused with Forget Me Now. I'll update the sprite.
