as i said below, updates for this mod are on hold temporarily, because i am working on a much higher quality mod called WITHERING SOULS which will add 24 unique special zombies that can all form naturally during gameplay, as well as campaign modification and an adjusted endgame. there's plenty of lore for it and it's pretty difficult but i hope people enjoy it once we finish the honestly over-zealous update

Is this mod still being worked on? Because this is easily one of the mods of all time, kind of a shame they changed the Husk system in the first place.

im pretty sure it is separate, correct me if im wrong though

I wonder if anyone will make a mod for this mod to make it so that this husk is separate from normal husk, it would be useful for Improved Husks because if someone does make a patch for these two to work together, I doubt they will resprite all the husk monsters to make sense with this mod. So that's why it would be interesting to have this as a separate husk, although I doubt anyone will do that.

okay, i've decided to make this override default husk infection so that you actually encounter it more often, this causes incompatibility with improved husks but that is acceptable here, you can just make a patch for it or something if you really want to just link back to my mod thanks

it's meant to be more virulent and dangerous, and you can't really tell who's infected until they start attacking you

Yeah so it seems that the problem is still there, the infection itself doesn't seem to progress either (if injected with the eggs)
