not sure yet; i will probably update my mods if and only if they get performance back to at least what it was pre-4.0. It's not fun to play right now with all of the performance issues.

It doesn't for me, so it must be a conflict with another mod :)

In my game this mod causes most empire borders to be invisible. I fixed it by deleting the FX folder. Very possible it's a conflict with another mod, but I didnt investigate further.

Once the update is live, it will have direct support by the Merger of Rules, adding cross-mod integration with Ariphaos Sensor Expansion and Wild Space.

I'm having the introduction for the precursor event chains firing many times, even after I've started the chain and even after I find the homeworld. Has anyone else encountered this or might it be a mod conflict? Didn't have this issue before 3.7

Making the unexplored part darker is a cool idea but.. does it affect the AI as well?

By 'affecting the AI' I don't necessarily mean affecting it directly; the effect could be indirect via lowering decision weighting (ie. where to explore) or negative modifiers, etc.
