Faction capitols have special conditions which makes making tiers for them very difficult, so faction capitols will not be able to go beyond tier 1.

the mod has now been updated, Karak kadrin will now act as a wood elf city
in my version bechafen and wolfenburg functioned propperly, so it might be a key issue, thus i've generated new keys (increased values) in the hopes of reducing mod infighting

Thanks for the update, it's really appreciated.
Just did a short trial run as Lord Daith and was able to demolish the buildings without any issues. Will do some further testing but so far it seems the crashing issue (for me at least) has been resolved.

alright guys, thanks so much for bringing the crashes to my attention
the problem lies thusly:
at some point when the crashes started, CA renamed some of the provinces:
yvresse, sartosa and konquata
therefore the mod used to crash as it still held the old names
I cleaned up the mod, no more wierd norscan settlements, now its just everything except norsca
if you find any major, un-unique major settlement (not altdorf etc.) that doesn't allow the forest buildings do tell

So I think I know what's causing the issue, warhammer 2 is kinda old and really messy when it comes in contact with the norscans
they have a seperate settlement code
this is probably what causes the issues, I told the game that wood elves could build grove buildings in all norscan major settlements, but it doesn't seem to work
now I think the issue is that I can't go deep enough into the code with RPFM to solve this issue, meaning that I might have to purge everything relating to norscan major settlement development, which is what I'm going to test, I'll save a backup and you guys tell me if its better, sadly though if you had any norscan major settlements (that could only build the settlement building chain upgrade but nothing else) they will be reset to the tier 1 outpost

I just disabled basically all other mods but this one and Mixu's Unlocker and my game CTDs as soon as I try to demolish ANY starting building with ANY of the Wood Elve factions - even the vanilla ones...

Found the mod that was the problem, it is the orcs and norca can trade mod. Will not run with this mod. Took me a while to figger it out but I found it. No idea why the mod will not work with this mod though.

I have no idea, the only mod I think might be the cause even though I have not tried it is, the tier 4 settlements mod. the one where you can build 4th level in your smaller cities, but your mod only affects the big city. The rest of my mods are garrison mods to make the AI harder and a few unit mods added unto them.

that's rather confusing
have you found which mod causes the crash, I'll see if I can reshuffle some unit keys, its often that garrison unit keys cause crashes, which is simply a dice roll in the hope that other don't use the same key codes. horrible modding code in my opinion

crashes for me too, not sure if it conflicts with any other mods, I am running a few. It crashes when I end the turn, just before it is my turn again. Turn off the mod it works. Have only this wood elf on it crashes, but I am running a few other mods for other races.

@cannonfodder I'll check, but my mod doesn't touch on those types of buildings, if you say the crash occurs even if you turn off all mods, you might want to delete the game launcher cache as there might be some mod running on the background that the launcher didn't get rid of

So i figured out demolishing the selathoi gallery that sisters start with on turn 1 was crashing me over the end turn. Not sure if the info is helpful or not.

Salviour, if you have a mod that gives the player complete map control I can fix each issue one by one, but I have to manually figure out which one works and which one doesn't with specific unique tags its extra hard finding the correct tags for certain settlements

Mordhaim and Bechafen are switched ..... meaning Bechafen as capital of region dont have forest buildings .

I just checked an CA completely overhauled that unique building location system, so its a LOT easier in game 3, I no longer have to copy past the entire wood elf building roster every single time, not to mention they tagged them now which makes finding them super easy

I've looked at it and it appears a lot of settlements have unique codes, but some have no code at all, very strange, I made an updated version that's cleaner code wise, it has not a single minor settlement error, but its not perfect, it is missing britonian and many of the new settlements, so I'm not really sure about publishing it
I really hope the devs streamline their coding as its a maze of different tags and inconsistencies everywhere
I appologise for the fans, but I'm going to focus mainly on warhammer 3 when IE releases and hopefully the code is a lot cleaner by then

it doesnt need a new game to work, and the AI will also use this mod, the garrisons however arent that large so dont worry about unkillable capitols

aha, that is because couronne is a faction capitol and accepts a different type of building chain, in the future I might find a way to fix that, but for now that will remain a simple +1% global income increase building

Working well so far for the most part, I just captured Couronne and it only had out post tech to build though, not capital.
