Hey. To be clear, any engine sound mods should have the priority set below your mod, i.e. your mod shall be on top of the list?
mpie  [author] 11 Oct, 2023 @ 1:20pm
@Tuco, it should, but depends on the truck, and if you have other (engine) sound mods enabled.
la jardinera 11 Oct, 2023 @ 6:57am
does this work on 1.48?
Balake 26 Jun, 2023 @ 1:01pm
Daf XF Euro 6

(x5 was a typo)
mpie  [author] 26 Jun, 2023 @ 12:49pm
@Balake, I see. Which truck exactly? What d you mean, "x5"? Let's see if I need to enable support explicitly.
Balake 26 Jun, 2023 @ 12:11pm
It goes this mod then the engine sound
Balake 26 Jun, 2023 @ 12:11pm
It is below this one
mpie  [author] 26 Jun, 2023 @ 11:01am
@Balake, what's your mod order? Is the Kriechbaum sound below or above this one?
Balake 26 Jun, 2023 @ 10:24am
Alright thanks. I just want to do this because for example the daf x5 sound by Kriechbaum is a little plain idk probably just me lol

im mainly comparing it with youtube pov trucking videos, and from most videos, the sound is very muffled
mpie  [author] 25 Jun, 2023 @ 5:55am
@Balake – You can inspect the files. Do you know how to find downloaded Steam workshop mods on your hard drive? You can then make a local copy and edit it. – Well, more bass: Are you sure this mod takes priority over other engine mods that come with their own settings? Because the sound should already be quite muffled (less treble and mids). In fact, I had to disabled it the other day for a CAT C15, because I had such an unnatural rumbling roar... 😅
Balake 24 Jun, 2023 @ 3:11pm
any chance your able to add more bass to the sound if yk what i mean
or if you dont want to, is there anyway of editing the sound muffle to make it more/less muffle and stuff?
mpie  [author] 21 Jun, 2023 @ 10:06am
Nobody has requested the new MAN TGX, yet. SCS have implemented different cabin sound settings than in previous trucks. I'm curious: What do users of this mod think of the default settings?
mpie  [author] 21 Jun, 2023 @ 9:59am
@mattszymanko No, I'm sorry.
mattszymanko 28 Feb, 2023 @ 12:57pm
Hello again. Any updates on the Skoda Superb (By Robi) situation, per se?
InsanoVZ 5 Oct, 2022 @ 3:56pm
Thanks for the mod! ♥
mpie  [author] 7 Sep, 2022 @ 10:43am
@thimic2a, make sure to place this mod above the F2000, or engine mods you're using with it!
mpie  [author] 7 Sep, 2022 @ 10:40am
@thimic2a, please try it out, I added it. :)
thimic2a 7 Sep, 2022 @ 3:06am
Hello mpie... Thanks for your "job"
I will have a request please...
Possible to have a compatibility with the Man F2000 of XBS. Please
mpie  [author] 5 Sep, 2022 @ 2:31pm
Update: Great news if you like the Ford F-MAX:
You can now use this mod with the F-MAX and this compatibility add-on .
Uncle_D 5 Sep, 2022 @ 12:06pm
mpie  [author] 5 Sep, 2022 @ 12:03pm
@Uncle_D, ATS ok now as well?
Uncle_D 5 Sep, 2022 @ 11:18am
Sounds good in my truck over here!
mpie  [author] 5 Sep, 2022 @ 4:52am
I apologize, I seem to have made a mistake when I uploaded a recent update. If the mod was broken for you, it's now back at its original state.
mpie  [author] 1 Sep, 2022 @ 12:05pm
Updates:
- optional in convoy
mattszymanko 31 Aug, 2022 @ 6:19am
No worries. Thanks for the effort as well.
mpie  [author] 31 Aug, 2022 @ 5:53am
@mattszymanko, I am very sorry, but I just realized that the Superb does not support this ETS2 feature, yet. :( Adding support is actually relatively easy. I'll put together a small tutorial. Then we can ask Robi.
mpie  [author] 31 Aug, 2022 @ 2:16am
mattszymanko, since it's a free mod I can look at the files. And I basically only need the internal name of the vehicle to add a definition.
mattszymanko 31 Aug, 2022 @ 1:52am
Really? That's great to hear. And, indeed, It'd fit nicely, since the sounds inside the cabin are not perfect right now.
mpie  [author] 31 Aug, 2022 @ 1:39am
@mattszymanko I'll look into it. Seems fitting for a modern car. And I have access to this free mod. I haven't actually tried it out myself, yet. I won't provide an accurate simulation, since all these values are really rough approximations, but it'll do. :)
mattszymanko 5 Jul, 2022 @ 4:31am
I know It's probably not your scope of operation, but what would you say about implementing these changes to Skoda Superb 1.43 (By Robi) as well?
mpie  [author] 30 May, 2022 @ 1:18pm
@soul_destroyer – Is the truck supported according to the mod description?
soul_destroyer 25 May, 2022 @ 1:28pm
@mpie I have it set at the very top but it doesn't work
mpie  [author] 25 May, 2022 @ 5:30am
@soul_destroyer - What’s the issue you encounter?
alad 21 May, 2022 @ 10:25pm
Good idea. I wish we had a 'Sound Insulation' slider in game settings.
soul_destroyer 19 May, 2022 @ 1:06pm
Hi. Will the mod be updated to version 1.44?
IceMan 1 May, 2022 @ 11:12pm
@mpie: Your soulution for f max is working.
thimic2a 24 Apr, 2022 @ 2:28am
Hello! I come back here to say thank you. No problem with manipulations, I even have the habit with the workshop to repatriate some mods to my local directory.
mpie  [author] 23 Apr, 2022 @ 2:30pm
At first I tried to put these files only into a local mod to override the original one. But that didn't work. I don't know exactly why.
mpie  [author] 23 Apr, 2022 @ 2:24pm
Unfortunately the Steam Workshop uploader doesn't allow partial mods or overrides. To be able to help yourself in case of future updates: Compare the standard.sii file to the original. It's just two lines added.
mpie  [author] 23 Apr, 2022 @ 2:18pm
@thimic2a –– I couldn't help it, but I can't distribute it via Steam. But here you go:
1. Find your local mods folder
2. Put a copy of the F-MAX there
(Best way: Find you local Steam mod downloads, the F-MAX has the ID 1915802227. Just unzip and copy the base142 folder from inside the F-MAX mod directly to your local mods folder)
3. In base142 navigate to def/vehicle/truck/ford.fmax/interior
4. Put these three files there: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1LFf-RWsn_1g6Vay-hpWsl92-fK0LtjvS?usp=sharing
5. Activate the local mod in the mod manager
(it's enough to put it at higher priority)
thimic2a 23 Apr, 2022 @ 1:00pm
OK... cool then... Wait and see with the next update
mpie  [author] 23 Apr, 2022 @ 8:35am
But maybe let's wait and see if they have an update in the making because of 1.44 anyway.
mpie  [author] 23 Apr, 2022 @ 8:31am
@thimic2a -- Sure, no problem. But now I'm again itching to do this, because I like the F-MAX. :) But that would have to be another mod, a compatibility add-on. I'll think about it...
thimic2a 22 Apr, 2022 @ 2:42pm
Thank you for your answer
Take care
mpie  [author] 22 Apr, 2022 @ 1:49pm
@thimic2a -- That said, it COULD be achieved, but that would require to clone the complete interiors, just to add two lines of code to support this feature. I don't want to go that far.
mpie  [author] 22 Apr, 2022 @ 1:48pm
@thimic2a -- Unfortunately no. The F-MAX doesn't support this feature, and hasn't been updated since.
thimic2a 17 Apr, 2022 @ 10:14am
Hello !
Is it possible with Ford F-MAX please ?
mpie  [author] 30 Jan, 2022 @ 1:10am
@ArminMG These settings are per truck. Some sound mods include truck settings. If you want more muffling, put this mod above it. Some standalone mod trucks unfortunately don't support these settings at all.
ArminMG 29 Jan, 2022 @ 6:37pm
So, if I use this mod and set it before another sound mod, I can make it work for 1.43? Or is it just for SCS sounds?
mpie  [author] 29 Jan, 2022 @ 3:23pm
@vaidanispol Interesting! I'll have to listen to that intentionally. I'd expect the same behavior as you do.
